The man who raped and murdered Deana Bowdoin was put to death by the state of Arizona on May 11 at 10:30 a.m. This was 44 years, four months and four days after the homicide in question — or about 44 years too long by my reckoning.
Even so, this column has little to do with Deana’s killer. This piece is about a 21-year-old girl subtracted from the world decades too soon, a young woman for whom there were no candlelight vigils this week, no protesters, no legal motions long enough to deforest the state. Continue reading

“Mass shootings have become routine in the United States and speak to a society that relies on violence to feed the coffers of the merchants of death. Given the profits made by arms manufacturers, the defense industry, gun dealers and the lobbyists who represent them in Congress, it comes as no surprise that the culture of violence cannot be abstracted from either the culture of business or the corruption of politics.” ~ Professor Henry A. Giroux

We are about to celebrate Memorial Day here in the USA and aside from the “Happy Memorial Day” that friends shout, apart from the backyard barbecue parties, the Indianapolis 500 and other NASCAR races and the day off work on Monday – what is Memorial Day all about? Continue reading
What has happened to our country?
The far right and left is what has happened, and has made everyone angry and divisive.
You have people wanting to erase our history; tear down monuments; and change the names of sports teams, streets and landmarks. Continue reading
“Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by subduing the freedom of speech.” ~ Benjamin Franklin
Beware of those who want to monitor, muzzle, catalogue and censor speech.
Especially be on your guard when the reasons given for limiting your freedoms end up expanding the government’s powers.
In the wake of a mass shooting in Buffalo, NY, carried out by an 18-year-old gunman in military gear allegedly motivated by fears that the white race is in danger of being replaced, there have been renewed calls for social media monitoring, censorship of flagged content that could be construed as dangerous or hateful, and limitations on free speech activities, particularly online. American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten said on a recent podcast that GOP-backed parental rights legislation could have alarming results and even suggested that such laws are how “wars start.”
During an appearance on a podcast with radio host Rick Smith earlier this month, Weingarten criticized parental rights bills like the one recently signed into law in Florida.
“This notion – we’ve been very lucky in America, and we in some ways live in a bubble for a long time.” This is propaganda. This is misinformation. This is the way in which wars start. This is the way in which hatred starts.”

Randy Weaver, patriarch of a family that was involved in an 11-day Idaho standoff with federal agents 30 years ago that left three people dead and inspired the modern anti-government militia movement, has died at the age of 74.
His death on Wednesday was announced on in a Facebook post by daughter Sara Weaver, who lives near Kalispell, Montana and wrote ‘Love you always Dad’ on a post sharing a photo of him, along with the dates January 3, 1948, and May 11, 2022.
* Randy Weaver died on Wednesday aged 74, his daughter revealed in a statement
* He was the central figure of the 11-day Ruby Ridge siege in August 1992

In 1962, a movie theater in Ohio screened a French film called Les Amants, which contained a risque sex scene.
And, simply for showing the movie, the theater’s manager was arrested and convicted of violating Ohio’s obscenity laws.
The manager appealed his conviction, and the case made it all the way to the US Supreme Court.
Fortunately for the theater manager, the Supreme Court ruled in his favor. And the case famously gave rise to Justice Potter Stewart’s standard for obscenity:
“I shall not today attempt further to define the kinds of material I understand to be obscene”, he wrote, “But I know it when I see it.”

das ist Schwab!
Most problems in the world today are invented. They are created in study sessions and focus groups at the highest levels. These groups consist of the Bilderbergers, the Trilaterals, the World Economic Forum, the Rhodes Trust at Oxford University, and more. They have been working together for more than a century for the purpose of world government. World government by these elites, who disdain God, Jesus, Mohammed, and most religions, would be totalitarian, communitarian, and feudal.
These fellows, such as Klaus Schwab, have purported to provide solutions for the problems they helped make. They make problems, such as pollution by large corporations, and then try to place the blame on humanity collectively. They make wars and then profit by offering bank loans to countries to finance the war effort. They finance each side, and then offer loans for rebuilding after the war. They can then control social policies in these countries because loans will depend on following their advice. In this way many nations have become enslaved to this beast system.
Now to list a few of their concocted problems. Continue reading
“Language czars” changing pronunciations, meanings and censoring, e.g.
Culture – now pronounced cool-ture. For centuries the pronunciation was cul-ture, as it should be.
Caramel – now pronounced car-mel. For centuries carAmel. Even sophisticated food chefs say Car-mel.
Womack—now pronounced Whoa-mack. Heretofore Wom-ack. Whoa draws more attention.
The word democracy now describes one of America’s two forms of government. The proper name for the United States government is a Constitutional Republic, not a democracy. (Mob Rule). Ben Franklin said in the Founding, “A Republic if you can keep it”. Continue reading
Taxpayers waiting for refunds find little help from IRS’s ‘Where’s My Refund’ tool
You’ve got a shot at getting straightforward answer via IRS.gov. But then again, maybe not. Many taxpayers — who can’t get through the jammed phone lines at the Internal Revenue Service — are complaining that the “Where’s My Refund?” tool isn’t helping them, either, according to critics.
“If they use the ‘Where’s My Refund?‘ or ‘Where’s My Amended Return?‘ tools, they get in essence, technologically, what would be a shrugged shoulder,” U.S. Rep. Jody Hice said during a House Oversight and Reform subcommittee hearing April 21.
The Georgia Republican said his office has heard from taxpayers who are “absolutely at their wit’s end.” Continue reading
If we can’t discern the difference between doom-porn and investing in self-reliance, then solutions will continue to be out of reach.
I’m often accused of calling 783 of the last two bubble pops (or was it 789? Forgive the imprecision). Like many others who have publicly explored the notion that the status quo isn’t actually sustainable despite its remarkable tenaciousness, I am pilloried as a doom-and-gloomer (among other things, ahem). For years, Tom DeWeese, Henry Lamb, Michael Coffman, I and many others have been beating the drums trying to wake up America and the World about Agenda 21/Sustainable Development. In the past several years, thanks to an unemployed bartender trying to shove the Green New Deal down our throats, people have begun to question.
Now, the powers-that-be, the Globalists and Deep State operators, believe they are about to wield a coup de grace. And, believe me, this will be the end of civilization on Earth. I’m not exaggerating. But I do admit that I never expected this. Continue reading
A Catholic high school in California recently hosted a cultural festival in January which featured a booth that asked women to make “pronoun buttons,” according to the testimony of a concerned parent organization.
Carondelet High School’s diversity, equity, and inclusion council hosted a “cultural” event wherein students were shown a “gender identities presentation,” according to Parents Defending Education (PDE). A Carondelet parent told PDE that students were given a passport to collect stamps at different booths and redeem them for prizes. One of the booths included the Horizon Gender & Sexualities Alliance (GSA) club. Continue reading
Messaging has always been a favorite tool of the Globalists. The problem is they concentrate so much on the message, there is usually nothing behind the message. Most Globalist programs are thrown out for the public to use without testing, or control groups, sampling and feasibility studies. The modeling is done by computer using the Precautionary Principal aka Worst Case Scenario (WCS). The Worst Case Scenario /WCS creates the most fear and requires the most drastic measures to solve the problem. Obviously it is the preferred choice by the Globalists who like to create chaos. Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett
In some 225 years neither law professors, academic scholars, teachers, students, lawyers, or congressional legislators after much debate have not been able to satisfactorily explain or demonstrate the Framers intended purpose of the Second Amendment of the Constitution. I had taken up that challenge allowing Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett’s dilemma to understand the true intent of the Second Amendment. Continue reading

The ‘slippery slope’ theory has been used frequently to explain the rapid rise in licentiousness and decline of sexual morality in American society. Many Americans point to the radical change in societal norms over the course of just the past few years, to prove the theory is anything but a fallacy.
Just a short time ago, even former President Barack Obama publicly opposed gay marriage — as did the majority of Americans — which is likely why political strategists advised Obama to take the position he did.
When Obama made his first public comments indicating his support for gay couples to marry in 2012, it was viewed as a pretty controversial political stand. Today, the media outlets like the Washington Post are advocating for more ‘kink’ at pride parades so children can see it, and drag queens are twerking in front of kindergarteners.
Within just a few years it has become ‘controversial’ to not only oppose same-sex marriage but everything else sexual liberation has led to. Continue reading
Dear Editor:
When it comes to political parties (i.e., party for party sake), I wouldn’t give five cents for today’s Democrat OR Republican brand.
A Mr. Bill King, writing for National Politics on March 22, 2018, echoes so well my own take on the matter of political parties monopolizing and dictating our supposed “representative government” affairs, that I simply quote him here:
“The current ruling two-party duopoly is so ubiquitous that we take it as a given. We teach the ‘two-party system’ in government classes. Taxpayers pay for their primary elections, notwithstanding that, legally, parties are private associations. We have allowed the two ruling parties to institutionalize themselves in our political and governing systems. They get preferential ballot access and legislative committee assignments, and campaign finance laws are rigged in their favor, just to name a few of the advantages they are afforded.

Is it me or thee who whispers while running from the truth?
Those who view their surroundings and find them unsatisfactory, the fear and whispering begins.
In the well of the U.S. Senate recently claimed a bloodcurdling statement offered by a U.S. Senator. Surely there must be a response focusing on the Senator’s wild-eyed statement in his last address and condemning the Republican Senator.
Our Founding Fathers from the onset feared political parties. Time, as usual, found them soundly right.
The two major parties in our nation are the cowardly, warmongering Republicans and the Democrat Marxists who want to destroy everything “American”. Between the two, our once preeminent Republic is perched on the precipice of annihilation! Continue reading
