American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten said on a recent podcast that GOP-backed parental rights legislation could have alarming results and even suggested that such laws are how “wars start.”
During an appearance on a podcast with radio host Rick Smith earlier this month, Weingarten criticized parental rights bills like the one recently signed into law in Florida.
“This notion – we’ve been very lucky in America, and we in some ways live in a bubble for a long time.” This is propaganda. This is misinformation. This is the way in which wars start. This is the way in which hatred starts.”

Another sleepless night in a continuum of sleepless nights awash with absurd dreams – It’s early morning. There’s no stopping the torrent of thoughts careening through my mind, so I don’t even try. It’s all a perplexing tangle of knowledge and fear. The enigmatic reports of my overall health and the myriad things left to chance create a vexing presurgery dilemma.
One incessant, persistent thought – You don’t know The Shape I’m In.
You may quantify my physical well-being.
You may estimate my overall health on some scale.
You might even judge me as physically unfit.
What about the other part of me?
What about my mind?
I keep returning to Hippocrates’ assertion that the person and the illness are inextricably joined. He understood that health is holistic – meaning that where the mind goes, the body follows. Recent research proves that mindset has a powerful impact on our health. So says a 2021 study by Stanford University.
Funny, the shape I’m in is coincident with our society and republic. It’s all part and parcel of my uneasiness; as Hippocrates extols the link between patient and illness, I am linked to America – by choice. Continue reading
America has been pushed too far left, and our Constitution and federal government has been twisted and manipulated into a monstrous liberty-killing creature that would be unrecognized and viewed as Illegitimate by our Founders who foretold of the very mechanisms that might be used to do just what we see today. It will be a long time repairing the current damage, and such a renewal will not come without tearing everything down to its core and starting again from the basic principles that Western Civilization is based upon.
I fear we will see many more Americans die in some of the most egregious and heinous acts yet seen in our country, as the Left become increasingly unhinged and emboldened and empowered by the Biden regime and, God Forbid, any future commie regimes that solidify their grip on power over everything in the American domain with each passing year.

Randy Weaver, patriarch of a family that was involved in an 11-day Idaho standoff with federal agents 30 years ago that left three people dead and inspired the modern anti-government militia movement, has died at the age of 74.
His death on Wednesday was announced on in a Facebook post by daughter Sara Weaver, who lives near Kalispell, Montana and wrote ‘Love you always Dad’ on a post sharing a photo of him, along with the dates January 3, 1948, and May 11, 2022.

* Federal agents were attempting to arrest him on bench warrant for missing court

* Weaver and his family won a $3.1 million civil settlement from the government

We’ve been warning you for years and years that public education’s not your friend, it undermines your family, and it’s poison for your children.
Most people didn’t listen. It was always so convenient just to pack Johnny off to school every weekday and forget about it. That’s what too many of us did.
Mixing children and sex got to be a thing for “educators.” They can’t let it alone. There’s always got to be more. And we ignored it – until King COVID came along, closed the schools, subjected the kids to “remote learning” via their computers… and parents finally saw and heard what these schools were, um, “teaching” their children. The result was a fourfold increase in homeschooling. Nowhere near enough, but you have to start somewhere.
The people of New Jersey are public schooling’s latest victims. They were shocked last week when the state Board of Education suddenly announced a new “comprehensive sex education” curriculum, to go into effect this fall, featuring the usual potpourri of gender identity, sex-change, “gay” relationships, all seasoned with gender-neutral pronouns. In 1962, a movie theater in Ohio screened a French film called Les Amants, which contained a risque sex scene.
And, simply for showing the movie, the theater’s manager was arrested and convicted of violating Ohio’s obscenity laws.
The manager appealed his conviction, and the case made it all the way to the US Supreme Court.
Fortunately for the theater manager, the Supreme Court ruled in his favor. And the case famously gave rise to Justice Potter Stewart’s standard for obscenity:
“I shall not today attempt further to define the kinds of material I understand to be obscene”, he wrote, “But I know it when I see it.”

They make problems, such as pollution by large corporations, and then try to place the blame on humanity collectively. They make wars and then profit by offering bank loans to countries to finance the war effort. They finance each side, and then offer loans for rebuilding after the war. They can then control social policies in these countries because loans will depend on following their advice. In this way many nations have become enslaved to this beast system.

Don’t kid yourself – SHE had ’em!
The more I see, the more I’m convinced we are nothing more than spectators to the ‘Greatest Lie on Earth.’ What we see from these plastic puppets is a paltry portion of this picayune pageant of prevarication.
I’ve seen hundreds of stories about wrongdoing, but nothing is ever done to correct, stop, punish, or even reprimand the perpetrators. There may be a civil lawsuit or two, but we never see significant actions for violations of the constitution or other statutes.

Back when I was still in the Air Force, I was required to attend annual fire safety/fire extinguisher training; primarily because my job required that I work with flammable materials. One of the first things they teach you is the fire triangle; the three basic requirements for a fire. The fire triangle is exactly what its name implies, a triangle with each side being one of the three components necessary for a fire; fuel, oxygen and heat. Why I hate this country? In the first place, because today’s America is quite different from the country I moved to 35 years ago. This country America has turned into has nothing to do with the America I knew. Secondly, because what this country has turned to reminds me more and more the totalitarian country I had to escape from.

The more I think I’ve seen it all the more I’m proved wrong by this tyrannical Biden regime. They know without a doubt that this isn’t constitutional in any way shape or form, but they don’t care. They’re so intent on the fundamental transformation of America that the law means absolutely nothing to them, only that which they can get away with through back door lawless methods and double-dealing trickery.
Biden really is reminiscent of Wilson, who was a deep admirer of the German philosopher, Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel. Like Wilson, Biden seems to believe all ideas and institutions can be remade at will and each age has its own morality that manifests itself according to its times; that the Constitution must embody that zeitgeist. Biden isn’t that smart, but knowingly or otherwise, perhaps led by his handlers, he is adopting a position that creates a state into which individual will is absorbed and the state and the people become one, for better or worse.
More often than not, it also appears this regime is continuously looking towards China for more tips on how best to control so large a population as ours, and it goes without saying how dangerous this is for all of us.
The Democratic Party and the Biden regime truly are a very real and existential threat to all of America in the here and now. ~ J.O.S.
