What has happened to our country?
The far right and left is what has happened, and has made everyone angry and divisive.
You have people wanting to erase our history; tear down monuments; and change the names of sports teams, streets and landmarks.
You have people ignoring facts, science and health. People wanting religion instituted in everything, but only if it’s theirs, and passing laws guided by their religion.
People wanting to arm themselves with big, powerful weapons in the name of civil rights. People wanting to allow all free speech as long as they agree with it.
People passing laws to suppress the oppressed. People more worried about keeping their positions instead of doing the correct things. We need to remember, “Everything in moderation.” We need more moderates and less extremists — on both sides.

Mr Mike Getz:
Extremism in the cause of Freedom and Liberty is a Righteous Thing.
One cannot defend or fight for one’s freedom and liberty by way of half-hearted half measures, especially when checks and balances have been circumvented and a group has taken control of one’s government through illegal means and continue to act lawlessly despite all peaceful means employed by those who are attempting to preserve freedom and liberty through the existing framework of law and the Constitution.
“Moderates” who were far from moderate — who LIED — and Republicans who called their multiple surrenders to the Democratic Party Communists’ position “a compromise” — compromising where no compromise existed, compromising with Evil — are the EXACT God Damned Reason America Finds Herself in Her current dire straits and predicament, as Her people now sit on the precipice of the nation’s and the republic’s destruction, peering into the dark abyss of of the chaos to come.
Call me an “extremist” if You must. But at least I’ll By-Damned die a Free Born American standing on my feet fighting to save my family, my community and my country rather than on my knees as a Coward and a Sheep, forced to drag the chains of serfdom behind me in doing the bidding of some authoritarian socialist state and the tyrants at its head.
And just in case You missed it in whatever “history” You failed to properly understand, America was founded and built upon Christian principles and was always intended to be a Christian nation by the Founders, although one tolerant of all other faiths. Our Constitution is derived from a combination of Christian and Western principles and English Common Law, so it is only right that all future laws should have reflected, facilitated and perpetuated the Christian ideas that people should be held accountable in society for murdering, robbing and raping, just as the Christian God condemns these things.
Do not think for a moment that the Founders would have condoned abortion either.
Yes … call me an “extremist” in that I stand fiercely determined to preserve that which best allows all men and women to properly pursue their life, liberty and happiness in a manner that results in the highest degree of liberty for all, and thus results too in the greatest prosperity for all. Anything less is repugnant to me, as it should be to all Americans who care about the future of their children and grandchildren and many generations to come and the quality of life that will be, should we not jealously guard all that came before us and the gains made in the fight to be free by America’s First Extremists — Those Who Fought and Won the War of Independence — America’s Founding Fathers.

i served this country in 1969 viet nam 13 months of hell. i served because i thought our cause was right.
to think about what i sacraficed for what we have now with all these cheap bastards running their mouth about a new direction for our country and the people makes me sick.
they fail to realize that our republic has served us well for over 200 years. there has been none better.
our country is now full of demented minds top to bottom.
if people are not willing to stand and fight for freedom and liberty, then they deserve neither.
