After watching the recent deal to fund both wars in Ukraine and Israel and even send aid to Hamas terrorists, without offering a hint at securing America’s borders, no one should be under any illusions that Republicans or a knight in shining armor are coming to save them, their families and America from the current destructive malaise that’s been allowed to overtake our country. Both the Democrats and the Republicans bring their own particular brand of betrayal to the table, as we recently saw Congress refuse to hold Mayorkas accountable for his high treason regarding our border security and the Democrats refuse to call his intentional malfeasance for the felony that it is. But not to be outdone, Speaker Johnson seemed unwilling to actually do the right thing and refuse to move funding for Ukraine and Israel until the federal government was compelled to stop this invasion by illegal aliens. We are TRULY living in a Bleak House!
I’ve been waffling about continuing my writing. I quit writing several months ago because I saw the futility in opening minds. I realized that indoctrination and programming were too deeply ingrained, moving the improbability marker to 9.8 out of 10, meaning that any chance of success was extremely low. But being an optimist… you know the rest.
My only hope is that somewhere in the 330 million people in America, or nearly eight billion people in the world, there may be a few willing to consider a disparate opinion, or diverse point of view.
Maybe I could reach a few curious minds.
Or am I deluded?
Am I alone, facing this daunting task and dilemma?

This title comes from Proverbs. I use biblical quotes, and proverbs, because they are insightful and intuitive, and because the wisdom and common sense they contain is universally appropriate regardless of the source. I’m not religious, but aware.
Proverbs, a book of the Cristian Bible, is believed to be written between 970 and 697 BCE: or there about, is a book of Jewish wisdom composed in Hebrew to educate Jewish readers. It is my right to be uncommon… if I can; I seek opportunity…not security. I do not wish to be a kept citizen, humbled and dulled by having the state look after me. I want to take the calculated risk; to dream and to build, to fail and to succeed. I refuse to barter incentive for a dole. I prefer the challenges of life to the guaranteed existence; the thrill of fulfillment to the stole calm of utopia. I will not trade freedom for beneficence nor my dignity for a handout. I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat. It is my heritage to stand erect, proud, and unafraid; to think and act for myself; enjoy the benefits of my creations and to face the world boldly and say, – This I have done, and this is what it means to be an American.
If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival.
There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.

Biden Spikes Immigrant Population to 51.4 Million
The data shows one in six people, or 15.5 percent of the U.S. population, arrived via the federal government’s myriad official and unofficial migration paths.
Since Biden took office in January 2021, the foreign-born population has grown by 6.4 million — larger than the individual populations of 33 states.
If current trends continue, the foreign-born population will reach nearly 60 million and 17.5 percent [one in six] of the U.S. population by the end of a second Biden term — both figures would be without any precedent in American history.

The New York City Council asked the state’s highest court to strike down a pair of rulings in a move that would pave the way for non-citizen immigrants to vote in city elections.
The controversial election change, passed by the City Council in late 2021 and signed into law by then-Mayor Bill de Blasio, would have allowed 800,000 noncitizens with green cards to vote but was struck down as unconstitutional last month by an appellate court.

Migrants Who Overpowered National Guard May Be Allowed Into US

After federal agents spent four hours Thursday detaining and moving migrants following an attempted southern border breach in El Paso, Texas, the undocumented persons are going through processing for possible entry into the U.S.
Texas continues to be an epicenter of the national immigration debate. It has engaged in litigation while state officials vow to continue enforcing Texas policies and tactics to deter a record-setting 2.4 million migrant encounters at the U.S.-Mexico border in fiscal 2023—up from approximately 1.7 million in 2021.
There are consequences to crossing the border illegally, and CBP continues to enforce United States immigration laws. Individuals and families without a legal basis to remain in the U.S. are subject to removal and are subject to a minimum five-year bar on reapplying for admission and potential criminal prosecution if they subsequently reenter without authorization… (Continue to full article)
U.S. Border Patrol Chief Calls Southern Border a “National Security Threat,” Citing 140,000 Migrants Who Evaded Capture

In an exclusive interview with CBS News, U.S. Border Patrol chief Jason Owens called the situation at the southern border a “national security threat,” expressing concern about tens of thousands of migrants who have evaded apprehension and entered the country surreptitiously over the past five months.
Owens said Border Patrol is “closing in” on recording one million apprehensions of migrants in between ports of entry along the U.S.-Mexico border in the 2024 fiscal year, which started in October. For the third consecutive year, his agency is on track to record two million apprehensions by the time the fiscal year ends at the end of September, Owens added.
