One government indoctrination center in Vermont has decided to eliminate the words male and female from the 5th grade curriculum. Students can’t use the words boy and girl in school because, after all, this school is in the process of becoming woke, and using such antiquated terms as boy and girl omits the other 126 sexes some flaky scientists and politicians have only recently informed us are now in existence. Joy Malak floundered through her freshman year in college.

The Republican-led House voted to pass its Parents’ Bill of Rights on Friday with zero Democrat votes after Rep. Articles about the horrible quality (on purpose) of what passes for education in public schools have become so prevalent that people now tend to take this inferior education for granted and so are tempted to just ignore it.

We recently were informed that some schools are now ending their honors programs so they can promote “equity” (racism). It seems that lots of the white kids do well in the honors programs so that now must cease and we must begin to enforce a stultifying conformity, a “one size fits all” program they have mislabeled as “equity,” The concept of “equity” has trumped any idea of real education – but, then, real education has not existed in public schools for generations anyway. Under California’s public school funding, per pupil spending is actually $23,723

During the pandemic, funding for California’s K-12 schools and community colleges spiked from $79.3 billion in 2019-20 to $110.4 billion in 2021-22 — a 39% increase. Also during the pandemic, California public school enrollment dropped by more than a quarter of a million students. For the first time in 20 years, public school enrollment in the state is below 6 million, says education scholar Lance Izumi.

An article appeared on World Net Daily written by Bob Unruh on 3/11/23. It noted that Comrade Joe Biden, of Communist China fame, now wants the government to start teaching children at age three. Mr. Unruh observed “The Washington Stand, a publication of the Family Research Council, is publishing a warning to American parents that Joe Biden’s new budget proposes that government agents start teaching, and influencing, children starting at age three…The report notes that Biden’s $6.9 trillion budget ‘would have the hand of the government rock the cradle by creating a federally regulated, universal pre-K program for children as young as three.’ It’s a long way from the first time such an agenda has been pushed.”‘

Tamillia Valenzuela said board should consider ‘where our values lie‘

Tamillia Valenzuela is currently serving her first term on the Governing Board after being elected in November 2022.

An Arizona school board member wearing cat ears during a meeting said she would oppose having a contract with a Christian university over the religious and Biblical beliefs they espouse, Fox News Digital found.

The Washington Elementary School District, which serves students in the Phoenix and Glendale areas, had an ongoing contract with Arizona Christian University for five years, enabling their student teachers to be placed in its schools for field experience. The contract opened up opportunities for recruitment and hiring.

Heather Rooks, who was recently elected to serve as the clerk of the Peoria Unified School District Board of Education, posted on January 20 that the district is considering using a textbook that claims there are ‘many variations’ of sex.

The Savvas textbook also appears to touch on issues of mRNA vaccines and stem cell research.

It has not yet been adopted for use at the Peoria high school, but the board will vote on using it or two others at a meeting in May.

DailyMail.com has reached out to both Rooks and the Peoria Unified School District for comment.

Livid parents force woke teachers to pull it from shelves in US

The author of a book which was pulled from schools across the US over its description of a sex act between two 10-year-old boys has said it was never intended for young children.

Lawn Boy, a 2018 novel by Jonathan Evison, drew national attention in 2021 after it was found in school libraries despite scenes that parents labeled ‘pedophilic’.

School districts in at least 12 states removed the book from libraries because of the controversial passages.

The passages included descriptions of a sexual encounter between two fourth-grade boys at a church youth-group meeting.

Evison told The Washington Post the book was never intended to be placed in school libraries.

His comments appeared in a Post article which said schools banned the book because ‘a mom wrongly said the book showed pedophilia’. Continue reading →

Just yesterday I read an article by Lee Duigon on News With Views about the continuing leftist revolution that goes on daily in those government indoctrination centers we refer to as public schools. He referred to two public school systems, one in Boston, the other in Sacramento, California.

Of the Boston school system he wrote: “An ‘academic dean’ in the Boston Public School system has pleaded guilty to racketeering. One Shaun Harrison, 63 years old, shot a student.
