An Arizona school board member wearing cat ears during a meeting said she would oppose having a contract with a Christian university over the religious and Biblical beliefs they espouse, Fox News Digital found.
The Washington Elementary School District, which serves students in the Phoenix and Glendale areas, had an ongoing contract with Arizona Christian University for five years, enabling their student teachers to be placed in its schools for field experience. The contract opened up opportunities for recruitment and hiring.

Heather Rooks, who was recently elected to serve as the clerk of the Peoria Unified School District Board of Education, posted on January 20 that the district is considering using a textbook that claims there are ‘many variations’ of sex.
The Savvas textbook also appears to touch on issues of mRNA vaccines and stem cell research.
It has not yet been adopted for use at the Peoria high school, but the board will vote on using it or two others at a meeting in May.

The author of a book which was pulled from schools across the US over its description of a sex act between two 10-year-old boys has said it was never intended for young children.
Lawn Boy, a 2018 novel by Jonathan Evison, drew national attention in 2021 after it was found in school libraries despite scenes that parents labeled ‘pedophilic’.
School districts in at least 12 states removed the book from libraries because of the controversial passages.
The passages included descriptions of a sexual encounter between two fourth-grade boys at a church youth-group meeting.
Evison told The Washington Post the book was never intended to be placed in school libraries.
His comments appeared in a Post article which said schools banned the book because ‘a mom wrongly said the book showed pedophilia’. Continue reading

I recently came across an article by a Ben Johnson who is a senior reporter at The Washington Stand. Mr. Johnson noted in an article on The Daily Signal for August 16th that: “State universities indoctrinate future teachers in controversial transgender, racial, and political theories – and instruct them to teach these principles to children beginning in preschool, a new report has found.”
And he quoted the report’s author, Will Flanders, when he said, in an interview, “There’s a huge amount of liberal indoctrination going on…We found it across every public university in the state that has an education program.” Continue reading

Just yesterday I read an article by Lee Duigon on News With Views about the continuing leftist revolution that goes on daily in those government indoctrination centers we refer to as public schools. He referred to two public school systems, one in Boston, the other in Sacramento, California.
Of the Boston school system he wrote: “An ‘academic dean’ in the Boston Public School system has pleaded guilty to racketeering. One Shaun Harrison, 63 years old, shot a student. These homeschooled children, if their parents homeschool them long enough, may grow up to think independently and thereby ask embarrassing questions Big Brother’s Educrat minions don’t want asked – and we just can’t have that. So homeschooling has to go and the kids involved in it need to be forced back into public schools where they can be taught to embrace the tenets of leftist thought for 6-7 hours each day – in all subjects. American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten said on a recent podcast that GOP-backed parental rights legislation could have alarming results and even suggested that such laws are how “wars start.”
During an appearance on a podcast with radio host Rick Smith earlier this month, Weingarten criticized parental rights bills like the one recently signed into law in Florida.
“This notion – we’ve been very lucky in America, and we in some ways live in a bubble for a long time.” This is propaganda. This is misinformation. This is the way in which wars start. This is the way in which hatred starts.”

We’ve been warning you for years and years that public education’s not your friend, it undermines your family, and it’s poison for your children.
Most people didn’t listen. It was always so convenient just to pack Johnny off to school every weekday and forget about it. That’s what too many of us did.
Mixing children and sex got to be a thing for “educators.” They can’t let it alone. There’s always got to be more. And we ignored it – until King COVID came along, closed the schools, subjected the kids to “remote learning” via their computers… and parents finally saw and heard what these schools were, um, “teaching” their children. The result was a fourfold increase in homeschooling. Nowhere near enough, but you have to start somewhere.
The people of New Jersey are public schooling’s latest victims. They were shocked last week when the state Board of Education suddenly announced a new “comprehensive sex education” curriculum, to go into effect this fall, featuring the usual potpourri of gender identity, sex-change, “gay” relationships, all seasoned with gender-neutral pronouns.
