Dickens: Semantics and Anti-semantics… It’s ALL Bullshit!

I want to begin with a story to illustrate my subtitle. Be patient, you know, I’ll get to the point, eventually…

Are we running out of Time?

Several years ago, I managed a major communications ‘forklift’ improvement project for our power company. I worked with a team of engineers to coordinate their activities and communicate the processes and progress to the stakeholders. Forklift improvements involve the complete dismantling, removal, and replacement of the existing system without interrupting services. This process is typically done in stages, carefully planned, and impeccably executed to minimize business disruption. It requires incredible cooperation, a dedicated team effort, and careful coordination with the business. Piece of cake… Continue reading

Bill O’Reilly Just Made A Dark Prediction for America’s Future & What Happens Next

Elon and Bill are both correct. I was born in 1943 and have watched all of the events and changes that have occurred in and outside of this country. It truly has become very depressing to see the slow and steady decline of this country internally. It is following the same declining path that all of the great historical countries have all the way back in history from well before ancient Egypt, Greeks, the Roman Empire etc. all the way up through the current century. None have stopped the decline eventually and this country will do the same unless it has the internal strength and leadership to reverse it. Continue reading

Roberts: America Needs a Political Party That Represents Americans

In the 20th century, the difference between Republicans and Democrats was between a party that wants citizens rewarded on merit and a party that wants citizens rewarded based on needs. It was Democrats who gave the needy property rights, sometimes called entitlements, via taxation, rent control, and other redistributive methods in the incomes of taxpayers.

The needy and their needs expanded rapidly, necessitating further violations of Constitutionally protected property rights. Today an American making $300,000 annually pays one-third of his income in federal income taxes on top of which are added state income taxes, sales and excise taxes, taxes on services such as electricity and telephone, and property taxes to pay for the education of other peoples’ children. Madden: The Constitution

According to Thomas Jefferson, our Constitution was designed to “chain down the government” in order to protect the people from tyranny. For those wanting world domination, the people cannot be free but totally under the control of the government. Through the process of Gradualism, many parts of our Constitution have already been rendered ineffective. Continue reading

Beware the Idolatry of ‘We The People

When political movements define good and evil by loyalty to the group, they exchange God-given morality for moral tribalism. That’s why the leaked Young Republican chat – filled with demeaning language and cruel mockery – was not just a lapse of decorum. It reflected a philosophy that confuses winning with righteousness.

The recent leak of thousands of messages from the Young Republican National Federation’s private group chat was an obvious distraction from the Democrats’ much more serious text problem with their Virginia attorney general candidate Jay Jones.

But while Vice President J.D. Vance chalked up the YR’s texts to, basically, “boys will be boys,” the thread revealed more than crude jokes and offensive language. It exposed a deeper problem within America’s political right. The rising generation calling itself “the New Right” is drifting away from the moral and biblical roots of conservatism and toward something older – and darker: nationalism without God. A Tale Of Two Political Parties

While Trump and Republicans are generating results, Democrats offer nothing but negativity. It is caused by the epidemic that is contagious among Democrats, Trump Derangement Syndrome;

In America today, our two major political parties are moving in opposite directions. For Republicans, it might be the “best of times.” Under the leadership of President Donald Trump, the GOP is feeling confident.

Republicans have a strong chance to retain control of the Congress in 2026 midterm elections despite the party out of power traditionally gaining many new seats.

This political environment is different. President Trump has had an incredibly successful first nine months of his second term and this will help

After four years of no border security under the previous administration, it has been secured, and zero illegal aliens have been released into the country in the past fourmonths. Additionally, almost 500,000 illegal aliens have been deported, while another 1.6 million noncitizens have self-deported. Continue reading

Female Student Organizes Protest Against California’s Pro-Trans Bathroom Policy

Some female high school students in Anaheim, California, recently held a protest against their school for allowing biological males into their bathrooms.

A good number of Esperanza High School students carried signs depicting their opposition of the policy early this month, reported California Family Council (CFC). Led by junior Lesley Ledesma, they staged a walkout after finding out the school administration is allowing a biological male to use the girls restroom.

Sophia Lorey, outreach coordinator of the CFC, said Ledesma wanted to point out the injustice of the school policy and what California is forcing on girls. Continue reading

As Sex Offender Prepares for Trial, District Does Little to Protect Students

An investigative reporter says a registered sex offender corresponded with a Virginia school board member about what he deemed “offensive treatment” while using women’s locker rooms.

Through public records requests, Kendall Tietz says Arlington Public Schools provided Defending Education documents about Richard “Riki” Cox, a tier III sex offender who reportedly visited a number of female private spaces in 2024.

He has admitted to using the women’s locker rooms at Arlington’s Washington Liberty High School, Wakefield High School, and Barcroft Sports and Fitness Center, as well as in Fairfax County Planet Fitness locations and Fairfax County’s Oakmont Rec Center, Audrey Moore Rec, and Franconia Rec Center. Smith: Trump’s AI Agenda Threatens America and Individual Liberty

All President Trump can ever really seem to think about is dollar signs in everything he does, and that’s all well and fine, as far as it goes. But he and his ilk are so focused on making money, no matter how and no matter the actual overall cost to the average American that he is essentially now championing an AI initiative that serves the wealthy of America a whole hell of a lot more than the middle class and the poor – I don’t care how he explains it all away and tries to characterize it as a thing that will “Make America Great Again“. Pope Leo Urges Bishops to Rise Up Against Trump’s Immigration Crackdown

Pope Leo has taken a more direct stance against the Trump administration’s hardline immigration policies, urging U.S. bishops to publicly advocate for migrants and refugees. In a meeting with U.S. bishops and social workers from the U.S.-Mexico border, the Pope expressed deep concern over the impact of the administration’s deportation efforts. His comments reflect an escalating feud with the Trump administration, as the Pope questions whether such policies align with Catholic values. Continue reading

Stansbury: Can Schoolteachers be Trusted?

Public schools depend on a degree of consensus from parents and taxpayers regarding the basics of what their students are being taught. This trust is especially important in these chaotic times when many parents across the country have discovered that their schools are teaching children in a way contrary to their family and religious values by indoctrinating them with creepy views on gender and sexuality. Senate Again Rejects Bills to Reopen Government as Parties Aim to Shift Blame

Each party appears to believe public opinion favors its side, as the federal shutdown enters its ninth day.

                  ‘Modern Politigencia’

The Senate on Oct. 9 defeated for a seventh time two continuing resolutions to temporarily extend federal funding, as Republicans and Democrats present differing versions of the cause of the federal government shutdown.

The shutdown began on Oct. 1 after spending authority for the federal government expired, causing the suspension of all but essential services.

Republicans presented a continuing resolution that would extend current funding through Nov. 21. That resolution passed the House on Sept. 19. Continue reading

Dickens: What If… We’re One Nation Under Siege?

What If… We were on the Highway to Hell?

With libel and outrage, partisan political party specific, of course…

After all, we are at war. And all’s fair in love and war…

This is democracy reimagined, redefined, remitted, but not requested. Continue reading

Jane Goodall Helped Humans Understand Their Place in the World

Outside the Field Museum in Chicago, a bronze sculpture by artist Marla Friedman captures a moment a friendship was made.

It’s called “The Red Palm Nut.” A young woman sits barefoot on the ground, reaching out her hand to a chimpanzee, who sits about a yard away. And he lightly, seemingly shyly, takes her human fingers into his own. A bright, red palm nut has dropped on the soil between them.

The woman in the sculpture is the great primatologist and conservationist Jane Goodall, at the moment she first earned the trust of a wild chimp. “He reached out and he took and dropped that palm nut,” she later remembered.

“But then very gently squeezed my fingers and that’s how chimpanzees reassure each other. So in that moment we understood each other without the use of human words, the language of gestures.” Continue reading

Whispers in the Wind: Jane Goodall’s Final Words and Lasting Legacy

Over my own lifetime, I have had a huge appreciation for this world we’ve been handed to steward and do with as we wish. And it’s always been my wish that we as humans across the globe always wish and choose wisely, if only that all life survives and thrives.

This isn’t a communist or capitalist – left-right – issue, since the health of the Earth and our environment has a marked, significant effect on all life on the planet, and it’s just pure old, good and simple common-sense that we should all do our utmost best to keep the environment as pure and clean as possible for the sake of future generations and humanity overall.

But curiously, if one does their due diligence, one will find that historically, it is the developed, capitalist nations of the globe that have the best track record for protecting wildlife and the environment.

The following is a tribute to one of the most amazing women I have never had the opportunity to meet, a lady I would have given my eye-teeth to have met in my early manhood days. She is the sort of lady who provides inspiration to all to be better than the person you were yesterday, to do better for those you may leave behind upon your own death. ~ J.O.S.  Continue reading
