Ross: Evil Exists And Is Shielded By Law

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing ~ Falsely attributed to Edmund Burke

The Wrath of God

It truly is amazing what difference a little knowledge, and a great deal of thought, can make upon one’s perceptions, beliefs, and opinions. I can’t remember what grade I was in when this happened, but I do recall having to pick someone from American History to write a short biography about; in essay form. For some reason I chose Andrew Carnegie, the steel magnate who, for a short time, surpassed even J.D. Rockefeller in wealth. Had I known then what I know now I would never have chosen Carnegie to write about; or if I did, I would have been a lot less praising of his achievements.

While there is a great deal of debate over the extent of the Holocaust, and I do not wish to enter that arena at this time, it is important to note that Hitler’s regime got much of their ideology about ‘ethnic cleansing’ from the Carnegie Instituted of Science. Oh yes, Hitler’s ideology traces its roots back to America. Although the Carnegie Institute later apologized, in its early years it did a lot of research in eugenics; proposing gas chambers and other lethal methods of reducing, what they considered, defective members of society.

J.D. Rockefeller

Since I’m on the subject, J.D. Rockefeller was also tied to the eugenics movement in America in the early 1920’s. Rockefeller was not only a major contributor to Carnegie’s Eugenics Records Office at Cold Spring Harbor, he also funded Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood; believing that by implementing birth control (both contraception and abortions) they could reduce the number of ‘undesirables’ living in America.

Like I said, it truly is amazing what a little bit of knowledge and truth can do to a person; if they have the willingness to accept it as truth rather than turn their eyes away from it.

Harry S. Truman was the 33rd President of the United States and is credited with the decision to drop the newly developed atomic bomb/s on Japan; ending the war in the Pacific. What is lesser known about him is that it was his decision to enter into the Korean conflict, and that it was his decision to invoke the Marshall Plan; an economic plan to help rebuild Europe in the aftermath of World War II. Cited by many as a boondoggle and a slush fund for special interests, the plan transferred $13.3 billion (roughly $137 billion in 2024) to fund the rebuilding of Europe after the war had ended.

         Harry S. Truman

But that is not why I bring Truman up. For all the ‘bad’ choices he made, there was one thing about him that I (kind of) admire; the fact that he kept a sign on his desk that said, ‘The buck stops here.’ Truman believed, or claimed to believe, that as President he was, ultimately, responsible for whatever government did. Now whether or not the people held him accountable is another story altogether; but he did (pretty much) accept responsibility for every decision he made.

Do we see that kind of integrity today, both in politics and in our private lives, or do we try to find others to blame for everything that is going wrong in the world around us? Do not the American voters tend to blame the ‘other’ party for the problems we face rather than face up to the fact that it is the institution of government (under their revered Constitution) that gives the ‘other’ party the authority to do all those terrible things?

You see, there is something important in that last paragraph that might have slipped by people; that being the fact that people tend to ignore truths that cause them discomfort; make them question their beliefs and values. Questioning the integrity of government is one such instance; it is something far too many people are unwilling to do. Yet you would not believe how mentally liberating it is; if you only had the mental courage to do so.

Yet rather than face the facts people turn their backs upon them; rejecting and ridiculing anyone who has the courage to pursue the truth; wherever it may lead them. There are a number of reasons for this, and I could spend the remainder of this essay discussing them, but I won’t. What I will say, and this is just my opinion, is that it boils down to one thing; cowardice. That’s right, people are afraid to look the truth in the eye and accept it; allow it, and it alone, to be what guides them in the forming of their opinions and values.

There, I’ve said it; let the unfriending begin…

The sad thing about all this is that this type behavior is not only exhibited in politics, it is also quite common among those who profess to be of the Christian faith. I don’t want to go into how few actually read, let alone think about, their Bibles, but one would hope that they are familiar with what Christ said in Matthew 7:22, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”

I just wonder if they’ve ever wondered if that passage is referring to them.

I have both been told by friends, and lost friends who have told me, that to be a patriotic American one should obey the law. Okay, I suppose I can play that game; how about this; ‘To be a good Christian one must obey God’s law.’

In Acts 5:29 Peter and the other apostles, when told that they should stop preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, said, “We ought to obey God rather than men.” Daniel was thrown into the lions den by King Darius for violating a law that forbade anyone from praying to anyone other than the King. In Daniel 3, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into the furnace for refusing to obey a law that required them to worship a golden idol of the king. But the example that most closely ties into the subject I wish to discuss today is the Hebrew midwives who refused to abort the male children being born to Hebrew women. (Exodus 1:15-17)

I know that there are some who think that Romans 13 says we should obey the governing authorities, but if that is true then why was Paul (the author of Romans 13) executed by Nero; what justification did Nero have for killing him if not for some violation of the law? I do not wish to go into an in depth discussion of Romans 13, but if you believe that it commands us to obey government, then I suggest you Google Mission to Israel Ministries, then click the ‘Important Books’ tab, then scroll down and open: THE ROMANS 13 TEMPLATE FOR BIBLICAL DOMINION: Ten Reasons Why Romans 13 is NOT About Secular Government. Give it a read; you may actually change your viewpoint about what Romans 13 means.

The point is, here we are in a situation with two governing authorities; one created by man, and one established by the CREATOR of man. Putting aside theology for just a moment, from a purely logical standpoint, which of the two do you think we ought to be obeying? Let’s put it another way. We could fire every weapon in our military arsenal at the heavens and not harm God; yet He could snap His fingers (Thanos style) and wipe humanity out of existence. Even Christ told us, “And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them which kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.” (Luke 12:4) The book of Matthew puts it this way, “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” (Matthew 10:28)

So again I ask, which governing authority do you think we ought to be obeying; one populated by theives, liars, pedophiles, and all manner of other vile people, or the one ordained and established by our Creator; the God of heaven and earth? To me, the answer is so obvious I do not see how anyone could answer that question wrong; yet they do…by the millions.

There is one more passage from scripture that I wish to share with you before I get to the meat and potatoes of todays essay, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (Chronicles 7:14)

If you were to read the entire Old Testament, from Genesis to Malachi, you would see that it is a back and forth story describing how man, when he disobeyed God, was punished; and when he obeyed God, he was blessed; both as individuals and as a people. God does not want us to suffer His wrath, but at the same time, He has no qualms about unleashing it upon a wicked people.

Yet who do we turn to when we seek answers to the problems we face as a country? Do we humble ourselves and turn to God, or do we vote for some clown who promises to resolve all our nation’s problems? I don’t care who one votes for, Trump, Obama, Clinton, Bush, Reagan, any of them, you are turning to a man made institution that neither recognizes God as the supreme legislator, nor does it enact laws that ensure that God’s law is upheld.

Jesus what happened to you America?

We are suffering in this country; both for our misplaced trust, and for our own wickedness as a people. I can almost hear people now, ‘But I’m not wicked Neal; I read my Bible and I go to church.’ Do you remember what Christ said in Matthew 7:22? Well, that’s talking about us as a nation. Or to put it another way, “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.” (Matthew 15:8)

Those are pretty harsh accusations Neal, can you justify them? Yes, I believe I can.
If you support this government, regardless of which party is in control of it, then you are supporting an evil and wicked group of people who do not obey God’s commandments and law; end of story, game over! How so you say. Easy, and I can answer it with one word: abortion. Since this government allows that vile practice to continue without criminalizing it, and punishing both those who seek out abortions, and those who perform them, then that institution is evil and wicked.

I remember how the Pro-Lifers celebrated a victory when Roe v Wade was overturned. All that did was to play a game of political Hot Potato; they passed the issue of abortion down to the state legislatures rather than ending it once and for all. When the 13th Amendment was ratified government did not pass the issue of whether or not chattel slavery would be allowed in America to the states, it ended it once and for all. It could do the same with abortion if it had the courage to uphold God’s law rather than succumb to the desires of an evil and wicked people who are intent upon murdering unborn children upon the altars of Moloch!

People have the gall to pray to God, asking Him to bless this country, yet they turn their eyes away from the fact that between 2,500-3,000 unborn babies are put to death every day in America; or roughly 1.14 million per year. Do you honestly think God is going to bless a people who allow this abominable practice to exist; in a land that claims to be predominantly Christian?

I think not!

The Bible tells us, “Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones. And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name. And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not: Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.” (Leviticus 20:2-5)

Isaiah 10 tells us, “Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!” (Verses 1-2)

Then, in verses 3-4 we read, “And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory? Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.”

Finally, Isaiah 5:20 warns us, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

You can sugarcoat abortion all you want, call it by whatever name you choose, but it is still murder; and if you are not working to end it, then you are complicit in it due to your silence.

God loves us, but He will not bless us until we put an end to the evil and wicked practive of murdering unborn children; simply for the sake of convenience of the women who do not wish to bring the life growing in their womb to term; giving that child a chance at life. They are evil, they are vile, and we as a nation are suffering because we allow this evil practice to exist.

Did you know that King Solomon, the king God gave supreme wisdom to, fell because he succumbed to the temptations of his wives to erect temples to the gods our God commanded we not follow; that he himself sometimes worshiped at those unholy temples? That was Solomon’s downfall, and one of the temples he erected in honor of those false gods was a temple dedicated to Moloch; whose followers practice child sacrifice as part of their worship. God would not allow that unholy practice to exist on sacred ground, so what makes you think He will not withhold His wrath from us for allowing it to continue here in America?

Is this an uncomfortable subject, does it make you squirm in your seat? If it does, good; that’s your conscience, or the Holy Ghost, telling you that you have failed in your duty to God by keeping silent while abortion remains legal in this country.

We are told in scripture that we will be rejected for our beliefs, that we will be persecuted, and that we will follow many false prophets (pastors and priests) who remain silent in the face of unimaginable evil. Yet we are also told that, if we remain faithful and true to the end, we will be saved.

If you are among those who take issue at what I just said, then I suggest you read Proverbs 17:15, for it is talking about you, “He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the Lord.”

And finally, even if you believe with all your heart and soul that abortion is evil, if you continue to support government while it allows it to remain legal, then you are justifying the wicked; and you will be asked to explain why you did not stand up and defend God’s holy law.
