Smith: INTRO… The Need to Unite America

Editor’s NOTE: Today is June 29, 2025. In a matter of days, many of us will remember what the date July 4th once represented – Independence Day. There is little meaning of it anymore. In simple terms – America Must Be Cleansed and Purified Through the Fires of Civil War. Please join us on the Federal Observer for this very special column from Justin O. Smith. ~ Jeffrey Bennett, Editor

I hate like hell to always write what I myself see as such negative pieces, but as badly as I wanted to write something positive and hopeful to honor the 250th anniversary of America winning Her independence from Great Britain, there was very little for me to draw from over the past two or three decades even, to suggest our people were still aligned with those beautiful principles that made it all possible.

The American people have become so unbelievably weak, overall, from my perspective, that it blows one’s mind to think that these are descendants of people who took on superior forces and great odds to fight to be free. The vast majority can’t even put down the Cheeto bag or take their fat ass up and off the couch to take out the week’s garbage, much less make any real stand and fight for true freedom and liberty for all; the vast majority doesn’t even seem to really care if tyranny wins the day and a king takes hold, so long as they don’t have to truly be independent or do anything harder than push a few buttons on a cash register each day, or go to Walmart to use their EBT card to get a week’s worth of groceries.

Yes, I know there are still many great young people out there who have been taught at home by their parents, that there isn’t any substitute for self-reliance and real knowledge and skills. Many will suggest I am being far too critical, but I really don’t believe I am, not when we see so many way far left communists being put up today as candidates for many public offices across the nation and crowds of Millennials and GenZers are cheering them on as if it’s always been a totally normal thing to support communism in America. As this population grows and rises into an ascendant and ever more powerful position, it cannot bode anything other than one of the most unsettling, dangerous situations America will ever again face.

Win, lose or draw, no matter what MAGA and Trump do over the next three and a half years, this country is headed for civil war, because its enemies have grown too large and powerful, with backing and support from communists abroad too, that it will not be contained or properly restrained, in order that the country may function properly.

Our enemies-from-within have had a real taste of the power they craved under Obama and Biden, and they are not about to cease and desist or stand down now in regard to their well-known, oft stated agenda to fundamentally transform America and destroy our republic.

I’m actually not too much against ending the republic as it now stands, given that it is in such a miserable, bastardized state, just as long as something better is standing in the wings ready to take its place – a new way forward that places individual liberty above the needs and demands of government, where freedom actually means freedom and one’s home cannot be taken from them by anyone for any reason once it’s paid for in full – where states can’t pass illegal laws to erode and subvert our rights as set forth in the Bill of Rights – and where we truly are free to pursue life, liberty and happiness in every meaningful, righteous manner known to man.

Join me here on July 4th…

Bennett ~ I’m So Tired of America…

…and what it has become.

The following post provides a comment from a viewer, and an emotional video from a man who was amazingly talented, but most importantly who has taken the words (also posted below) of Canadian-American singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright from 2007 and turned them into something of his own. At the later stages of George Michael’s life – he had mastered his craft as both a singer and a song-writer, and his ability to LIVE each song as he presented it is something to behold and cherish. The peace which he has brought to me over the past few days has been amazing, I feel the need to share with you what I have felt. Each reader will draw from the following what moves your own emotion. ~ Ed.

Smith: Childhood Memories Filled with Fear… Saved by Love and the Grace of God

I was doing a bit of reflecting on my past and my overall life recently, and every time I fall into such a deep thought process, I always remember what an important role both my Grandmothers played in my life — my Grandfathers too, but it was the Grandmothers who gave me the love I ultimately needed.

I don’t know if there’s a place for such a piece at The Federal Observer or not, but This is a TRUE STORY and autobiographical in nature. Continue reading

Dickens: Merka’s Next Civil War 2.0

Illegal Immigration & Sanctuary Cities

Go ahead. Tell me I’m wrong.

Today’s Illegal Immigration fiasco is this generation’s slavery, and it’s causing a significant rift today, just like it did in 18th-century America. The prominent difference is that today we excuse violence as an expression of our Constitutional right of Free Speech, rather than the violent insurrection that it is. God forbid we should hurt someone’s feelings by speaking truth, you know ‘tellin it like it is.’ by ‘callin a spade a spade’, and maybe even meet that or meet it in kind. Merka is a nation of Karens.

– The pejorative term “Karen” refers to someone perceived as entitled, demanding, and often using their perceived social status to their advantage, and this behavior is not limited to any particular gender.

If we used reciprocal force, wouldn’t that be protecting their own lives? We are still allowed to do that.

So, unknot your knickers, park your prejudice, and open your minds for a while. Continue reading

Taylor: “Milquetoast Minions?!”

If you remember the Disney version of “Peter Pan”, you may well remember the Island’s name, Neverland. If you were raising children in the late 80s and throughout the 90s, you may recall the commercial from ToysRus. The line from the jingle was “I don’t want to grow up, I’m a ToysRus kid.” In many ways, we’ve seen our culture promote delayed childhood.

In our current time (2025), there are an alarming number of young adults (16 to 24 years) who are absolutely clueless when it comes to the basics of being on their own. What do I mean? Examples like balancing a checkbook, cooking, laundry, changing a tire are just a few of what I’m referring to. But, it goes beyond these types of basics. It’s also mentally crippling our young people. Continue reading

Csiszar: How Privatizing Social Security Could Impact Retirees

Social Security is the bedrock of the American retirement system. Although it was never intended to fully cover the expenses of retirees, many Americans unfortunately find themselves in this situation. But with an average monthly retirement payout of just $1,980.86 as of February 2025, according to the Social Security Administration, the idea of privatizing Social Security has reared its head once again.

Privatization refers to diverting some or all of workers’ Social Security taxes into individual investment accounts instead of the Social Security Trust Fund.

But while the concept is fairly straightforward, the ramifications can be huge.

Trumps ‘Big Beautiful Bill‘ Breaks a Promise to Retirees…

What Social Security recipients should know…

As the Republican-led Congress pushes forward with President Donald Trump’s landmark 2025 mega tax bill, you may have noticed that a key campaign promise is, so far, noticeably absent.

During last year’s presidential campaign, Trump made several promises. One for retirees was that he would end federal taxes on Social Security benefits.

In several rallies and interviews, then-candidate Trump assured older adults that “SENIORS SHOULD NOT PAY TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY!”

After being elected for his second term, he repeated the pledge in his 2025 State of the Union address: “I’m calling for no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, and no tax on Social Security benefits for our great seniors.” Continue reading

Roberts: The Horsemen of the Apocalypse

I awoke this morning to find that America Again Crawls on Its Belly for Israel and adds another war crime to its impressive 21st century list.

The recklessness increases. President Trump committed an act of war for Israel. This comes on top of some fool green-lighting an attack on the Russian strategic triad, an attack that was played down even by Putin himself. What will Washington’s next reckless act be?

Why did Putin green-light the attack on Iran by conveniently announcing that Russia’s treaty with Iran did not include military support, a claim that John Helmer says is disproved by secret provisions in the treaty?

Russia and China could have prevented the attack, but did nothing. Peace in the Middle East could have been established with a Russian-Iranian-Chinese mutual security treaty. Why do Russia and China prefer war to peace in the Middle East? Where was Iran’s air defense? Why is Iran always a sitting duck devoid of initiative? Why are Muslims happy fighting one another instead of their real enemies? Continue reading

Smith: “Artificial Intelligence” Threatens to Destroy All Humanity

I do believe I will scream if I hear one more idiot tout the wonders of A.I. and the TransHuman, post-human world they intend to create.

Too many of the advocates of A.I. – now heavily invested and involved in all aspects of A.I. production and the U.S.’s military use of A.I. – are the very ones who have an idiotic ethereal, post-national, immoral and anti-American worldview, for the most part, and anything their hands are in must be held suspect. By and large, it is their already deployed A.I. technology that has essentially hollowed out the minds of millions of Americans and people around the globe, dissolving social bonds and encouraging pathological self-absorption.

A.I. is gaining more mastery over humanity with every advance it makes in serving our desires, as it degrades fundamental human capacities. The more humans use A.I. for anything, the less capable they themselves become in that realm of science, math, medicine, art, or literature and on down the line, as they are reduced to complete idiots. dependent on A.I. and search engines for everything. A.I. to adult humans is like a pacifier to a baby, ministering to humans’ inner emptiness and boredom – their lack of any real and meaningful direction – brought about by their own denial of God, and ultimately, if the world continues down this road full speed ahead it can only expect to see humans everywhere debilitated and enslaved by the very creation they insist will set them free. Whitehead ~ The Real National Emergency: Endless Wars, Failing Infrastructure, and a Dying Republic

“Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed.”President Dwight D. Eisenhower (April 16, 1953)

Seventy years after President Dwight D. Eisenhower warned about the cost of a military-industrial complex, America is still stealing from its own people to fund a global empire.

In 2025 alone, the U.S. has launched airstrikes in Yemen (Operation Rough Rider), bombed Houthi-controlled ports and radar installations (killing scores of civilians), deployed greater numbers of troops and multiple aircraft carriers to the Middle East, and edged closer to direct war with Iran in support of Israel’s escalating conflict.

Each of these “new” fronts has been sold to the public as national defense. In truth, they are the latest outposts in a decades-long campaign of empire maintenance – one that lines the pockets of defense contractors while schools crumble, bridges collapse, and veterans sleep on the streets at home.

This isn’t about national defense. This is empire maintenance. Continue reading

Medicare Drug Costs Shift Under New Law: Most Patients May Pay More

Insurers adjusting to the Inflation Reduction Act by changing fees, co-pays

New research reveals the Inflation Reduction Act’s $2,000 cap may not help most Medicare beneficiaries as insurers raise drug costs and deductibles. Image (c) ConsumerAffairs

A core promise of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), signed by President Biden in 2022, was to lower the cost of prescription medications for Americans, particularly older adults on Medicare. But new research suggests the reality may be more complicated — and costlier — for most beneficiaries. Continue reading

Smith: “Livin’ in America

BAM BAM Bam, Bam BAM BAM bam came the knock last night at 11:30. No one ever comes to my home after 11, so I promptly grabbed my .40 and headed toward the door, shouting “Who is it”?

One, two, three seconds – no answer. I switched on the porch light and swung the door open at the ready to see two Rutherford County Sheriff Deputies shining their flashlights in my face. Continue reading

Border Patrol Finds ‘Highly Sophisticated‘ Smuggling Tunnel Passing Under California Port Of Entry
The tunnel connected Tijuana and San Diego and was almost 3,000 feet long.

Border Patrol agents have disabled a tunnel that crossed the southern border and sought to be used for smuggling purposes, authorities said.

Concretely, the tunnel was found in early April while still under construction. It passed underneath the Otay Mesa Port of Entry and connected Tijuana and San Diego, U.S. Customs and Border Protection detailed. Its projected exit point would be near or inside a commercial warehouse space in San Diego… (Continue to full article)

The Real Reason People Are Giving Up on Work

Trump’s Border Agenda ‘The Most Effective in Decades’
As the Biden-era border chaos is being unraveled, the legacy media is now targeting Trump administration veterans like Stephen Miller – those who are actually making the immigration system work again.

Laura Ingraham opened her latest segment by calling out NBC for its attempt to smear Miller, President Trump’s point person on immigration policy and a longtime MAGA stalwart. The network criticized Miller for reportedly pressing ICE to make 3,000 arrests per day – a number Ingraham called not only reasonable but too low given the scale of the problem.

Americans want mass deportation, period“…… (Continue to full article)

Fear Spreads At Veterans Affairs Hospitals As Trump Job Cuts Loom
VA nurses warn that veteran care could deteriorate even if frontline workers are exempt from layoffs. “When you lay off support staff, our jobs get harder.”

When the Trump administration fired 2,000 probationary employees at the Department of Veterans Affairs earlier this year, frontline health care workers were spared from the president’s cuts. But Ann Marie Patterson-Powell said she and other VA nurses still felt the effects of the layoffs.

Medical supplies became harder to track down in her oncology unit at the VA hospital in Durham, North Carolina, Patterson-Powell said. So she ended up going floor to floor looking for blood-pressure cuffs, urinals, alcohol swabs and gauze. Nurses also had to help deliver meal trays to patients’ rooms, something normally done by the food service team… (Continue to full article)

U.S. Considers Selling More Than 16 Million Acres of Federal Land in California for Housing

OH – What the Hell!!!

Sara Johnson: No King? No Problem!

I would say I have never seen more collective confusion, and emotion-driven, unproductive, though self-congratulating drivel. But I have. It has become a distinctive of the left.

What a busy weekend it was! Hardly any time to celebrate pops or papas with all that is happening in the world.

We had the horrific assassination of lawmakers in Minnesota, which we will absolutely be addressing in a later post.

We had the Army’s 250th Anniversary Parade. What were y’all’s thoughts on this? I loved it. But I love history, America, and the military. More than once I found myself googling a fact or “Well, how about that-ing” to new information. For instance, because of the Big Red 1 flag on my neighbor’s house…I now know he is not to be trifled with, and also where I have now instructed my children to go if danger presents itself. Go, Arny! Housing Finance Chief: It’s Time for Fed’s Powell to Resign

Jerome Powell

Bill Pulte, director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, told Newsmax on Thursday he has a simple message for Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell after the agency’s board declined to lower interest rates this week: Resign.

The Fed on Wednesday held its benchmark interest rate steady at 4.25% to 4.5%, keeping borrowing rates elevated for Americans for the fourth straight time. The last time it cut rates was in December, by a quarter of a percent. President Donald Trump responded later that day in a post on Truth Social calling Powell “a real dummy, who’s costing America $Billions!Continue reading

Bennett: What the Hell Happened to America?

It is the study of history that teaches us to hope.” ~ Robert Edward Lee

This equestrian statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee was removed from downtown Charlottesville, Virginia in 2017.

September 4, 2018 ~ It is Monday night (Labor Day 2018) and the first time I have been away from the home/office since Friday night. Much has been accomplished relating to website updates and the continued merging of several aspects of the ultimate goal, but some things have happened that I have become aware of – other events which I have been following.

Let me provide you with some background for the purpose of this post…

This first part of our story began on July 11th of this year when I had finally reached the end of my rope with all of the hatred and anger in this nation, so much of which has been stirred up by the so-called ‘media.’ I had made a decision to begin shutting down many of my efforts – efforts which I had launched seven weeks before 9/11. Dickens: McCarthy was Right ~ The Cancer in America IS Marxism

Senator Joseph McCarthy: American hero

Senator Joseph McCarthy’s primary assertion was that communists had infiltrated the US government, particularly the State Department. He famously claimed to have a list of 205 such individuals, although he never provided concrete evidence to support his accusations.

McCarthy’s claims fueled the Red Scare, a period of widespread fear of communist influence in the United States following World War II. His accusations led to investigations, hearings, and blacklists in various sectors, including government, Hollywood, and academia.

While McCarthy’s accusations were never fully substantiated, they did have a significant impact on American society and politics in the 1950s. The Army-McCarthy hearings, which were televised, were instrumental in exposing McCarthy’s tactics and ultimately contributed to his downfall.

Fast-forward to today; there are proudly self-professed, self-identified, and self-confirmed Socialists, Marxists, Communists, and Terrorist Sympathizers in the US Congress, the opposite of progress, leading this republic over a cliff. Continue reading

Smith: America’s Greedy “Elites” Are Out of Economic Tricks

Too many Americans always assume that intelligent people have everyone’s best interests at heart and that any technologies and notions they advance and advocate in the name of “Progress” will solve all of the people’s difficulties and social ills without causing any pain, and yet over the past few decades the consequences of illiberal “liberalism” and the “progress” attained by it has reveal the exact opposite. If it their ideas bring great benefit to others, they really don’t care, just as they don’t care if they bring great harm, so long as their needs and agenda are ultimately met and fulfilled. One Person Says It’s Like Being ‘Thrown Into Adulthood Without A Map

Many Americans are stuck living paycheck to paycheck, and it’s not just because they don’t make enough money. While low wages and the rising cost of living are factors, Reddit users recently shared a much broader picture of the problem, revealing how complex and widespread the issue really is.
