Dickens: Merka’s Next Civil War 2.0

Illegal Immigration & Sanctuary Cities

Go ahead. Tell me I’m wrong.

Today’s Illegal Immigration fiasco is this generation’s slavery, and it’s causing a significant rift today, just like it did in 18th-century America. The prominent difference is that today we excuse violence as an expression of our Constitutional right of Free Speech, rather than the violent insurrection that it is. God forbid we should hurt someone’s feelings by speaking truth, you know ‘tellin it like it is.’ by ‘callin a spade a spade’, and maybe even meet that or meet it in kind. Merka is a nation of Karens.

– The pejorative term “Karen” refers to someone perceived as entitled, demanding, and often using their perceived social status to their advantage, and this behavior is not limited to any particular gender.

If we used reciprocal force, wouldn’t that be protecting their own lives? We are still allowed to do that.

So, unknot your knickers, park your prejudice, and open your minds for a while.

Here’s some of the Marxists (Democrat-Socialists) rhetoric about the illegals:

– All of the produce in the fields will rot.
– This will cause nationwide food shortages.
– Who will harvest all of this food?
– Who will clean our homes?
– These people have rights, even though they are here illegally.
– Who will clean our houses, and do the jobs that white people won’t do?
– They have the right to due process as stated in the US Constitution, even as invaders.
– They just want a better way of life.
– They deserve a better life, better health care, and welfare.
– What about their children? Who will educate them?

o You mean indoctrinate them in the Marxist ideology?

Aren’t these arguments similar to those made in 18th-century America about the slaves?

Not too many years ago, the George Floyd riots across Merka were called ‘the summer of love’ by the Left, because they were mostly’ peaceful protests, that destroyed 542 buildings, cost $1.4 billion in damages, and claimed 19 lives; it was indeed a loverly summer.

We’ve traded reality for the media’s interpretive perspective. We’re told what to believe; so now that’s what we see and how to perceive it. Our reality is reshaped to conform to the narrative.

Remember, in Orwell’s dystopian novel “1984,” the Ministry of Truth is a paradoxical entity. While its name suggests the pursuit of truth, it is in reality responsible for fabricating news, rewriting history, and controlling the population’s perception of reality through propaganda and censorship. It is one of four Ministries that make up the Party’s control over Oceania, and its activities are central to maintaining the Party’s power. The others are Propaganda, Censorship, History Revision, Newspeak, and Memory Holes.

Those familiar with George Orwell’s 1984 will understand this concept. It foreshadowed modern-day Merka. It’s available online or in the library. You remember those, don’t you?

Lawmakers and leaders throughout the republic call these violent uprisings against ICE and other Law Enforcement officers Peaceful Protests against what the Marxists regard as unjust arrests and deportation raids. The people they seek are illegally in this country, have broken at least one, if not several, laws, and are marked for expulsion. Yet these eviction orders are perceived as extraordinary, extralegal, and extreme by other illegals, and left-leaning lawmakers and bureaucratic leaders use their position to ‘stir the pot’ and incite these protesters with their ‘heroic’ rhetoric.

Aren’t the Congressional Rabble-rousers also culpable for spreading sedition? This dichotomy only reinforces the elevated status of these elite elected officials. This proves thar they are better than those who elect them. What about the local officials responsible for public safety, including the safety of their law enforcement personnel?

Aren’t they held to account?

No. because they, too, are elected officials and the rules of this republic do not apply to them either.

Who’s calling the shots, making these decisions, blocking the real due process to protect Merka from the foreign and domestic enemies?

Is our Constitution so convoluted and tangled in legal wranglings that it’s impotent?

Is all of this bullshit what the founders intended, meant by our First Amendments Rights?

In the antebellum South, slavery played a crucial role in its prosperity. It began in earnest in 1619 and continued through the mid-18th century. The 1860 census counted 3.6 million slaves, and 31.4 million people that were not enslaved. So roughly 11% of the population were slaves, though they were not counted as individuals since slaves were chattel – a human being considered property.

Modern-day Merka’s census indicates 340 million inhabitants, and the best estimate for the illegal immigrant population is about 21 million, or roughly 6% of the current population. If we consider that there are already 47.8 million foreign-born people in our population, the number of non-American inhabitants is approximately 68 million. That’s about 14% of our population, or roughly the number that caused the War of Northern Aggression, aka The Civil War in 1861.

The incredible increase of 21 million over four years could easily constitute an invasion. It’s no stretch to spin this into some clandestine attempt by foreign adversaries to take over Merka as the media would have us believe, but that would take unimaginable planning; something worthy of the Chinese. Fortunately, the other countries on this rock have more immediate needs and obviously don’t have the desire, acumen, or patience to think strategically. The fact is that this was encouraged by the incumbent administration, which means that this was an insurrection and seditious behavior to be sure, but Biden’s elite position in government insulates him from any culpability. Why?

It was Biden’s invitation that encouraged this invasion, and several countries apparently took full advantage by sending the worst of the worst to Merka in answer to Biden’s invitation.

The War of Northern Aggression was allegedly fought to free the slaves. Of course, other reasons are not the intent of this commentary. The primary reason was the expansion of slavery into the new territories, which Lincoln opposed. I believe his opposition was based on slavery’s economics and possible political control of the system that began the conflict, and not slavery itself, as we’re taught to think. Remember that slaves were chattel, and at this point, political tools.

This concept of conditioning, being told or led to believe, is an integral part of this commentary. I’ve written about this several times, so I won’t rehash it, but what the Merkan masses know about anything is a carefully crafted and considered narrative spread by the media to serve their purposes or those of their sponsors.”

Since the term Civil War seems to be the preferred title for this conflict, I’ll honor popular convention.

As an aside, I have never encountered a “civil war”. They are anything but polite, as the name might imply, but that’s me, splitting hairs, or is it hares. I’ve seen and participated in my share, and believe me, they were not polite, civil, cordial, or any other synonym for that word. War is a ghastly undertaking, leaving indelible marks on those involved; therefore, it is not for genteel conversation or the faint of heart.

There aren’t too many statistics on public sentiment from this period, but considering that several hundred thousand northern men fled to Canada to avoid conscription, and the fiercely-proud South’s being hostilely invaded caused them to deepen their resistance (still a bone of contention in some places), I’d postulate that this was not too popular among civilians. Recent numbers indicate that 850,000 people died as a result of this hostility. That’s roughly 2% of America’s population at the time. As taken as a percentage of today’s population, that number would be over 6 million people.

It was, however, a different story for politicians. Many saw this as an opportunity for fortune and glory, and their ticket to big-time politics; Honest Abe Lincoln, included.

Here we are today facing a similar dilemma with twice the number of people causing the aggression that will eventually cause the second war of partisan aggression: Merka’s Civil War 2.0. The instigators are the same: Congress, the opposite of progress, dissidents, and people who have marvelous ideas for spending your money, involving your sons and daughters, not theirs, remaining detached and untouchable throughout the entire process. You know them as our government.

We exchanged the abolitionists and black sympathizers with the embedded congressional terrorist sympathizers and Marxists. Their operatives are the Black Robed Bullies in the Federal Court System.

According to the Pew Research Center, 31% of the people polled say that all of the illegal immigrants should be deported, 51% say some, and only 16% say none. Yet it’s 16% causing all the trouble in the country. Remember that a tiny minority favored the War of Northern Aggression.

This may seem like an oversimplification of the issues, but the fractious and divisive nature of these problems, presents an unmistakable parallel to the ratios and similarities of those in America’s Civil War of 1861.

Merka’s Civil War 2.0 is already underway, with initial skirmishes being fought in sanctuary cities across the nation. Modern sanctuary cities are safe havens for illegal immigrants. The northern cities were sanctuaries for the slaves who escaped their bondage in the South. The significant difference was the geographic demarcation of the areas. Safe havens for illegals are spread all over this country, with concentrations in California, New York, and Illinois, with a few cities like Boston, Seattle, Portland, and several others.

This Merkan antipathy is already evident in non-sanctuary cities. Even my hometown of Phoenix has seen these anti-ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) protests. It seems like these protesters want to deICE Merka. OK, that was a terrible pun. It’s reminiscent of the defund the police and anti-law enforcement protests during the ‘Summer of Love’ in 2020. These were also professionally organized, orchestrated, and funded. The disastrous results were nationwide riots and racial unrest that further divided the republic. It fortified the existing animosity in every sector of society.

That “goddamned piece of paper” – again

Yes, there are too many similarities in all of the protests of the past several years. Someone is tearing America apart from within, using the US Constitution as its rationalization and justification. Their Ends Justify the Means. (I couldn’t resist.) Yet, this is how our enemies, foreign and domestic, attack this Republic. They use our freedoms as their tools to overthrow us. Now the rhetoric is on the economic ‘inequities’ between the haves and the have-nots. There are increasing racial overtones in these lies. They are all focused on destroying any bond between the people of Merka. The goal is control.

Never forget this.

This is truly the epitome of dividing and conquering.

If anyone has the temerity – chutzpa – to try this bullshit in any other country on this planet, please let me know. I’ll start a ‘go-fund-me’ page for your survivors and send my condolences.

Remember the Professor arrested for carrying medical marijuana into Russia? It may be legal in Merka, but not in Russia. Slightly more than 50 countries have fully or partially legalized cannabis (marijuana) for medical or recreational use. Remember, just because you’re Merkan doesn’t absolve you from the laws in the places you visit. Remember this, Karen.

How about the moron that went to North Korea to protest Kim Jun Un (Little Rocket Man)? – He’s still there.

Or the American-Jews murdered by Hamas on October 7th. They were living peacefully on a Kubutz, simply farming?

Remember the Christian Charity Workers hacked to death in Somalia, trying to help the poor?

I could go on. I hope you get the picture.

We are NOT like the rest of the world, and those countries DO NOT operate like Merka does. They enforce their laws by punishing dissidents with extreme prejudice – they kill them – as examples to their population.

I was in Costa Rica several years ago. They caught several American citizens smuggling drugs into the country from Panama. They were arrested, sentenced, executed, and hanged at the border as an example of what happens to ANYONE breaking the laws. Unfortunately, Socialism has taken root in that beautiful country. It’s now a Drug Cartel highway to North America. We visited there a couple of years ago – I hardly recognized the place.

Some Middle Eastern countries stone (with real rocks) adulterous women, hurl homosexuals from tall buildings, and refuse to educate women or even allow them to drive, although I’m opposed to this last one. Women are required to be covered from head to toe, with a screen that allows for some outward vision.

Anyone not appropriately dressed is beaten and possibly stoned. Yet, dissident college students advocate for these backward theocracies and their laws. It’s apparent that these students have no understanding of the political ramifications; they are taught to hate, rather than comprehend.

We have trained a flock of sheep as the future leaders of this republic. These protests are irrefutable evidence that their Socialist indoctrination is
complete.

Every Country that allows mass immigration suffers the same fate. The community and the country suffer a loss of identity and ultimately descend into chaos. The once Garden of Eden becomes a Shithole of corruption. Merka has one foot on that border, and the other on a banana peel. And, we have an oligarchy pushing, and a kritocracy abetting. It sure looks like a conspiracy.

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and swims like a duck. It’s probably a duck.

Merka’s Civil War 2.0 is right around the corner. and the partisans are aligning on the Right, Left, and a few in the Center.

Sanctuary! Sanctuary!”

Two-thirds of Merkans favor deporting Illegal immigrants living in Merka, and those who support letting illegal immigrants with jobs remain are decreasing. The estimated cost to arrest, detail, and remove someone from Merka is over $17,000 per person. If these estimates are accurate, the cost to remove the estimated 20 million undocumented immigrants from the United States would be in the trillions of dollars. The process will span decades, creating a subordinate complication with the 14th Amendment and birthright citizenship for their thousands of children, which allows the children of these illegal immigrants to sponsor their families in Merka.

Face it, folks, the Illegals are here to stay, the Marxists know it, and will do everything they can to delay or prevent deportation. even if they have to declare another civil war, like they did last time. to clinch the deal and fundamentally transform America.

~ The Author ~
Charles R. Dickens was born in 1951, is a veteran of the Vietnam war, for which he volunteered, and the great-great grandson of the noted author, whose name he shares.

He is a fiercely proud American, who still believes this is the greatest country on the planet, with which we’ve lost control and certainly our direction. He grew up in moderate financial surrounding; we’re not rich by any stretch, but didn’t go hungry – his incredibly hard working father saw to that. As most from that era, he learned about life from his father, whose story would take too long to tell, other than to say that, he is also a fiercely proud American; a WWII and Korean war, veteran Marine.

Charlie was educated in the parochial system which, demanded that you actually learn something, and have capability to retain it before you advance. He attended several universities in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree, and chased the goose further to a master’s, and has retained some very definite ideas about education in this country.

In addition, Charlie is a retired blues guitar and vocalist – a musician. This was his therapy career. Nothing brings him as much joy as playing music, and he wishes that he could make a living at it… but alas… life goes on!
