A recent article in the American Medical Association’s AMA Journal of Ethics is suggesting taxpayers should pay the bill for biological men who choose to get a uterus transplant (UTx) from dead women.

The Great Phony Disinflation Enters Its Finale
“La commedia è finita!” summarizes where the United States and Europe now stand in the Great Phony Postpandemic Disinflation. Why phony? Reported consumer price index (CPI) inflation has been falling in the US and Europe; but this has little to do with the advertised monetary tightening by the Federal Reserve, European Central Bank (ECB), and Bank of England.
Rather, the decline in reported CPI inflation is consistent with a natural downward rhythm of prices, reflecting fading pandemic restraints on supply. In a good money system, the essence of which is the absence of monetary inflation, average consumer prices (as represented by the CPI) would have long ago returned to their prepandemic levels. I recently got a tract from Frontline Ministries in Columbia, South Carolina that dealt with Christian pastors ignoring what goes on in government schools. The author of the tract, E. Ray Moore, Th. M. noted some interesting statistics regarding the attitudes of many Christian pastors regarding the mushrooming anti-Christian bias in what passes for education in public (government) schools. This is something I have noted in evangelical circles for almost five decades now. Many evangelicals, pastors included, if given their choice, will defend public education rather than expose its evils. I am not a big fan of Federal Government disaster relief. Too much of the time the money never gets to those who need it most, and too often Washington’s armies of disaster “experts” are more interested in pushing people around than helping them.
Nevertheless, it’s hard to look at recent footage of the devastation in Maui and then hear President Biden tell Congress that he needs another $24 billion for Ukraine. How can this Administration continue to justify tens of billions of dollars for this losing war that is not in our interest while the rest of the United States disintegrates?
Biden’s new $24 billion request comes on top of well over $120 billion already spent to fight the US proxy war on Russia in Ukraine. Heritage Foundation budget expert Richard Stern has done the math and determined that Biden’s spending on the Ukraine war thus far will cost each and every American household $900. How many Americans would rather have those $900 dollars back in their pocket rather than in the pockets of Lockheed-Martin, Raytheon, and Ukraine’s oligarchs? Continue reading

For almost five years now I have been writing a weekly and then a Biweekly Preventing Cancer and Nutrition BULLETIN. Recently I had to admit my wife into the Rest home and find it almost too hard to continue writing my BULLETIN. I have enjoyed the wonderful three hundred and fifty friends and family throughout the world that I have had the privilege of knowing and receiving emails over these years. Thank you for your overwhelming response.
Since my wife is in the rest home, I have only one more book to finish. I do not have the time to do all of the wonderful things that I have done in the past and want to thank you for being a very active, wonderful, and participating part of my life.

Friend Bennett and I share an uncommon appreciation for literature, notably Charles Dickens.
Our love of music brought us together many years ago in a blues club where I played. The club’s name escapes me, yet this encounter kindled a splendid friendship, and many discussions about music, art, and literature; especially the works of the author whose name I share along with some ancestry.
Jeff and I frequently gab about books, especially Dickens’ writings. One such chinwag launched this collection of commentaries based on Mr. Dickens’ novels and characters.
I quipped in the first of the series that I fully expected the Newspeak-police to revoke my literary license for taking liberties with Dickens’ work. A black van has been parked in the neighborhood lately, replacing the helicopters that stopped circling a week ago. ;)
This commentary is an interpretive parallel based on a character in the novel David Copperfield (1849). Dickens connected character traits to a name so masterfully that they remain analogous to this day. His fascinating and enduring descriptions give us an image to link to the message. Continue reading

They knew the difference between lasciviousness and marriage. The fact they didn’t care was a matter of immorality but it didn’t interfere with their consciousness that marriage was man/woman, all else was just self gratification in various forms.
