Housing Finance Chief: It’s Time for Fed’s Powell to Resign

Jerome Powell

Bill Pulte, director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, told Newsmax on Thursday he has a simple message for Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell after the agency’s board declined to lower interest rates this week: Resign.

The Fed on Wednesday held its benchmark interest rate steady at 4.25% to 4.5%, keeping borrowing rates elevated for Americans for the fourth straight time. The last time it cut rates was in December, by a quarter of a percent. President Donald Trump responded later that day in a post on Truth Social calling Powell “a real dummy, who’s costing America $Billions!Continue reading

Bennett: What the Hell Happened to America?

It is the study of history that teaches us to hope.” ~ Robert Edward Lee

This equestrian statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee was removed from downtown Charlottesville, Virginia in 2017.

September 4, 2018 ~ It is Monday night (Labor Day 2018) and the first time I have been away from the home/office since Friday night. Much has been accomplished relating to website updates and the continued merging of several aspects of the ultimate goal, but some things have happened that I have become aware of – other events which I have been following.

Let me provide you with some background for the purpose of this post…

This first part of our story began on July 11th of this year when I had finally reached the end of my rope with all of the hatred and anger in this nation, so much of which has been stirred up by the so-called ‘media.’ I had made a decision to begin shutting down many of my efforts – efforts which I had launched seven weeks before 9/11. Dickens: McCarthy was Right ~ The Cancer in America IS Marxism

Senator Joseph McCarthy: American hero

Senator Joseph McCarthy’s primary assertion was that communists had infiltrated the US government, particularly the State Department. He famously claimed to have a list of 205 such individuals, although he never provided concrete evidence to support his accusations.

McCarthy’s claims fueled the Red Scare, a period of widespread fear of communist influence in the United States following World War II. His accusations led to investigations, hearings, and blacklists in various sectors, including government, Hollywood, and academia.

While McCarthy’s accusations were never fully substantiated, they did have a significant impact on American society and politics in the 1950s. The Army-McCarthy hearings, which were televised, were instrumental in exposing McCarthy’s tactics and ultimately contributed to his downfall.

Fast-forward to today; there are proudly self-professed, self-identified, and self-confirmed Socialists, Marxists, Communists, and Terrorist Sympathizers in the US Congress, the opposite of progress, leading this republic over a cliff. Continue reading

Smith: America’s Greedy “Elites” Are Out of Economic Tricks

Too many Americans always assume that intelligent people have everyone’s best interests at heart and that any technologies and notions they advance and advocate in the name of “Progress” will solve all of the people’s difficulties and social ills without causing any pain, and yet over the past few decades the consequences of illiberal “liberalism” and the “progress” attained by it has reveal the exact opposite. If it their ideas bring great benefit to others, they really don’t care, just as they don’t care if they bring great harm, so long as their needs and agenda are ultimately met and fulfilled. Feds Gave $79 Billion in Pandemic Relief to People With Stolen or Invalid Social Security Numbers

The federal government paid $79 billion in Covid-19 relief to individuals who likely used phony or stolen Social Security numbers (SSNs), according to a recent report from the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee (PRAC).

Under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act of 2020 and subsequent legislation, Uncle Sam shelled out $5 trillion to counteract the economic damage wreaked by federal, state, and local policies that shuttered businesses and put millions out of work.

Among the largest pandemic-relief programs were the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loan (COVID-19 EIDL) program and Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), and the Department of Labor’s (DOL) pandemic Unemployment Insurance (UI) programs. Those programs accounted for an estimated $400 billion worth of fraud, according to 2023 reports from the SBA’s and DOL’s inspectors general. Continue reading

How Legal Immigration Is Keeping Farms Afloat

The H-2A visa program is an example of how legal immigration can supply labor in America, but farmers say reform is needed.

Joe Mencer, owner of Mencer Farms in Lake Village, Ark., on April 29, 2025. Samira Bouaou/The Epoch Times

LAKE VILLAGE, Ark. – On a breezy day, sun and shadow dance across Mencer farms, turning it into a patchwork of green in the fertile Arkansas Delta.

It is humid here in the deep South, where the clock seems to run slower and the temperature hotter than in other places.

Lake Village is a small town sitting along Lake Chicot, an abandoned channel of the Mississippi River. Over thousands of years, flooding deposited rich alluvial soil, making it ideal for crops such as rice, cotton, soybeans, and corn.

As a child, William Mencer’s grandfather handed him a cowboy hat and a garden hoe to dig up the pigweeds growing between the crop rows.

The 31-year-old farmer remembers spending long, sweltering days alongside the farmworkers, his hands growing rough and calloused with the effort.

“So I learned, you know, what it was like for these workers.”

He vowed to escape the sweat and toil of the fields by going to law school and working in an office. But the family farm drew him back like a love song.

Now he is partnering with his father, Joe Mencer, to keep the farm afloat with temporary agriculture workers through the H-2A visa program. Continue reading

Smith ~ Invasion America: Told in a Hundred Foreign Tongues

I cannot recall another time that has made me nearly so angry, as this past weekend after witnessing all these illegal alien invader rat bastards waving their foreign flags and trashing Los Angeles, not that I’m so fond of California or L.A. but just because it is still a part of America. And the level of arrogance and disrespect aimed at our country that would even make them believe for an instant that this was acceptable in any sense of the world is enough to make any normal patriotic American want to cut the lot of them down in a hail of .308 rounds, in my humble Tennessee ridge-runnin’ way of thinking.

The center is not holding, and the entire country is balancing along a razor’s edge, simply holding its breath and waiting for the next shoe to drop. Continue reading

Dickens: Merkan Kritocracy II: Who’s Really Running This Republic?

Merka’s Kritocracy – Judges are in charge.

                  Heah Come de Judges

In this political cycle, voters elected #47 to lead the Executive Branch of the Republic for four years. But the Radical Democrat appointed judges are blocking his every effort to fulfill his campaign promises with injunctions and restraining orders. Who’s running the country?

Partisan politicians’ weaponization of the Department of Justice (DoJ) to persecute #45, and now #47, has led to the resurrection of an ancient style of government. Merka’s rejiggering of the US Constitution brought forth a new, selective judicial tyranny: the emergence of the Merkan Kritocracy.

This judicial seizure means that Merka is no longer a democracy; it’s now a kritocracy, that is, a system of rule by judges, similar to the one in ancient Israel. According to the Book of Exodus, Moses began the kritocracy before establishing a united monarchy under Saul, as described in the Book of Kings.

Scholars place this date between the 13th and 15th Centuries BCE, which is strangely appropriate in the 21st century. What was once very old, 36 centuries old in fact, is new again. Continue reading

Garrison: “Big Beautiful Bill….Clinton

In a recent interview, Bill Clinton was asked if he thought Biden was competent to serve as president.

“I thought he was a good president,” Clinton answered.

He mentioned he had several talks with Biden and said he never noticed a cognitive decline. Really, Bill? Maybe that was because you are on a mental decline yourself. Or perhaps you enjoy exhibiting an obtuse loyalty to fellow Democrats.

Bye-Bye President Trump: June 7, 2025

Out Of His Mind’: Critics Aghast At Trump’s ‘Detached From Reality’ New Message
Trump shares a lot of outlandish messages on his social media pages, but critics say a single repost over the weekend might be his most “unhinged” yet.

Trump on Saturday night reposted a message on Truth Social claiming that former President Joe Biden had been executed in 2020 and replaced by “clones doubles & robotic engineered soulless mindless entities.”

Since returning to the White House, Trump has continued to promote conspiracy theories, and has even elevated conspiracy theorists to key positions… (Continue to full article)

Shooting Himself in the Foot‘: Trump Reportedly Handicapping His Own Presidency
Trump is handicapping his own “support system” because of an outdated grudge, according to a conservative analyst.

The problem is that people like the president and the people around him don’t like organizations like the NSC, because they’re full of experts. They’re full of people who work the problem. And that doesn’t go very well when he says, ‘I want to do x, y, and z,’ and they say, ‘Well, there, you know, you can do whatever you want, Mr. President, but there are problems with that. Here are some costs. Here are some things that you have to worry about.

This president doesn’t want to hear any of that stuff. And the NSC exists to tell him stuff like that. That’s what it’s there for. It’s the president’s kind of personal foreign policy, interagency support staff and think tank all rolled into one supposedly or normally headed by a national security advisor who gives him the best advice, handles all these contending institutions and opinions… (Continue to full article)

We Cannot Throw the Legacy of This Country Away
Clinton opened up about current President Donald Trump and his administration during an appearance on CBS “Sunday Morning,” this week.

“Look, we’ve never seen anything like this before in my lifetime,” Clinton said. “Somebody that says, ‘Whatever I want should be the law of the land. It’s my way or the highway.’ And most Americans don’t agree with that.”

I think that (Trump) has paid a price for this, you know, name-calling and throwing his weight around.

“I think it’s made him less popular to the point where … look, only elections are going to change this. But I do think the courts are getting their dander up. I think him shutting law firms out of representing their clients before federal agencies in federal buildings because he doesn’t agree with their position — that ain’t America. We’ve never done that. The whole purpose of having a legal system is to have both sides be heard(NOTE: Stay tuned for MORE regarding the Clinton Story!) (Continue to full article)

Trump Exhibits ‘Mental Incapacity‘ and ‘Cognitive Decline
Trump has faced criticism regarding his cognitive state since his return to the White House. While he boasts about being in good health, an expert has shared a different opinion

Similar to his first term as president, Donald Trump has continued to tout his competence, the brilliance of his team, and bash his predecessors, while also going on random tangents during rally speeches and speaking to the media. However, a communications expert and Trump author has expressed that Trump’s actions and speech also signify a mental incapacity

His lack of focus makes it seem as though he’s experiencing cognitive decline, that his brain is not well-disciplined, and he’s unable to maintain a thought and carry it through a logical conclusion… (Continue to full article)

Musk calls for Trump’s IMPEACHMENT
Musk unleashed a fresh round of tweets late Thursday afternoon, calling for President Trump to be impeached and declaring that SpaceX would begin decommissioning a spacecraft essential to NASA’s operation — though he later backtracked on this threat.

Trump’s threat to cancel billions of dollars of government contracts with Musk’s companies has ignited a new round of escalation in the explosive civil war between the two former allies.

Musk, the world’s richest man, also spent much of the afternoon tweeting about Trump’s alleged ties to notorious sex offender and financier Jeffrey Epstein… (Continue to full article)

Are We Smarter Than Our Ancestors?

When I was a kid, the postman semi-annually delivered a booklet-sized mail-order catalog with an odd mix of hundreds of household gadgets and cheap novelties: personalized pencils, cat toys, jumping beans and kitschy doorstops, et al.

The catalog also displayed the above-pictured LP cover of Orson Welles’ 1938 War of the Worlds radio broadcast mockudrama. As did the sensationalistic record cover, the catalog’s caption said that panicked Americans ran screaming into the streets or had heart attacks after hearing a radio report that Martians had invaded the US; specifically, my native New Jersey. Intrigued, I uncharacteristically asked my mother to buy the record. She declined. Continue reading

Declassified CIA Docs Reveal Hitler’s ‘Secret Escape’ after WWII as New Nazi Reports Set for Release

Shocking documents declassified by the CIA have revealed a secret mission to find Nazi leader Adolf Hitler – 10 years after he supposedly died.

According to multiple reports from the CIA archives, agents in South America were convinced the dictator was still alive in the 1950s and changed his name to remain under cover.

One operative even said they found a photo in Colombia showing a man hou resembled the infamous Nazi.

Despite Allied forces finding a burnt body suggesting Hitler took his own life in a German bunker in April of 1945, documents declassified in 2020 revealed that US intelligence officials were trying to locate his ‘hideout in Argentina’ just months after World War II ended.

Over the next decade, that search apparently never ended, and the CIA was still talking with informants who allegedly knew about Hitler’s secret escape in 1955. Continue reading

The Dangerous Rise of Judicial Supremacy

Courts today routinely override not only executive policy decisions, but the constitutional authority of presidents – thereby replacing legal clarity with judicial chaos. But the U.S. Supreme Court has a chance to correct the course

The Supreme Court has once again agreed to hear a case that strikes at the heart of the constitutional separation of powers. In Trump v. CASA – heard Thursday, May 15, in oral arguments – the justices will decide “Whether the Supreme Court should stay the district courts’ nationwide preliminary injunctions on the Trump administration’s Jan. 20 executive order ending birthright citizenship except as to the individual plaintiffs and identified members of the organizational plaintiffs or states.” Continue reading

Dickens: The Church of Perpetual Outrage (Worship at the Altar of Righteous Indignation…)

I’ve been aware of a disturbing contrarian trend for some time, but recently, it’s become more of a religion than an attitude or frame of mind. Religion is the best way I can describe what I see playing out in partisan political arenas. It’s as though we’re reenacting the Crusades of the 11th through the 13th centuries. This time, the armies are the Marxists and the Federalists; the Holy Land is Merka.

The tactics are reminiscent of the Spanish Inquisition, only in a suit and tie, performed in congressional chambers, broadcast for the faithful to partake in the Left’s righteous indignation. You’re guilty because we say you are.

Evidence? No problem: we’ll create whatever we need. After all, we own the Black Robed Bandits throughout Merka. It is an example to any who dare challenge the Holy and Almighty American Marxist Party’s viewpoint

How dare you disagree – you know we’re right! Continue reading

US Education in Dire Straits: Cheating is Running Rampant in High Schools and Colleges

Artificial intelligence is making it even easier for college and high school students to cheat.

As more and more students learn to use ChatGPT and other AI tools, teachers increasingly have to decide if an assignment was written by a human, according to Axios.

I have to be a teacher and an AI detector at the same time,” Stephen Cicirelli, an English professor at St. Peter’s University in Jersey City, New Jersey, said.

Any assignment “that you take home and have time to play around with, there’s going to be doubt hanging over it,” he said. Continue reading

‘Modern Politigencia’

It’s hard to be optimistic about any large bill set forth by Congress, especially when the know detrimental effects make one also wonder what unintended consequences may also follow. But it’s a fairly simple thing to understand that massive government spending always creates high inflation down the road. Continue reading

Trump Wins Supreme Court Ruling in 6-3 Decision

The Supreme Court has ruled in favor of President Donald Trump, allowing him to dismiss heads of independent agencies, including Gwynne Wilcox of the National Labor Relations Board and Cathy Harris of the Merit Systems Protection Board. The Court noted that preventing Trump from terminating these officials would impose greater burdens than those faced by Wilcox and Harris, who argued they could only be removed for cause under federal law. Chief Justice John Roberts affirmed that the decision balances the executive power vested in the presidency. Continue reading

Law Firms Targeted by Trump Are on a Winning Streak Against Him

“I look at life from Both Sides Now!” ~ Judy Collins

Federal courts have handed a series of resounding victories to the law firms fighting back against President Trump’s targeted executive orders, a sharp rebuke of his retribution campaign against them.

Three judges, appointed by presidents of both political parties, forcefully struck down orders this month aimed at limiting government contracts and access for Big Law firms Perkins Coie, WilmerHale and Jenner & Block.

The early wins underscore the legal system’s ability to withstand the Trump administration’s pressure test, and have led some in the legal community to take shots at other elite firms that struck deals with Trump to avoid punishments. Continue reading
