Do we have the time, or is this the beginning of the end of life in America as we have known it? This is where you will find a range of Editorial postings and comments by a select group of writers, many of who have had long term relations with Kettle Moraine Publications – and EACH of whom provide us with THEIR Perspectives as this Nation ignores the warnings as we live in the end of days – for most Americans’ are Too Blind to See – and we once again convert back to one of our OLD and DEFINITIVE categories – POINT BLANK!
There are lots of things wrong with the conviction and incarceration of 54-year-old Mustafa Kassem, who died (recently) in Egypt.
Kassen was an American citizen who drove a taxi in New York City. He had two children. In 2013, the Egyptian military ousted the democratically elected president of the country, which reestablished its omnipotent control over the government and the nation. In the process of killing hundreds of protestors, Egyptian authorities arrested Kassem in a nearby shopping center where he was exchanging money before returning home to the United States. Recently, at the NCAA college football championship game between Louisiana State and Clemson, a picture was taken of actor Vince Vaughn shaking hands with President Donald Trump as the two watched the game from a private box at the Superdome in New Orleans. Someone posted it on the internet and the left-wing social media went nuts against Vaughn. How dare he “humanize” Trump! That was the mantra. Continue reading →
This past weekend was a four-day extended weekend, lasting from the morning of Friday, 17 January 2020, through Monday, 20 January 2020, and it was eventful, even history-making. I find myself without the vocabulary to effectively articulate the emotions I experienced over those four days; I can tell you that I was honored to have not only born witness to the events I’m going to talk about, but also to have been able to participate in said events. Some of my experiences were exciting, some were saddening, and some were uplifting. There were times when I was filled with an overwhelming sense of pride, and there were occasions when I was profoundly humbled… Continue reading →
In 1945, Walt Disney and Salvador Dalí began collaborating on an animated film. 58 years later, with Dalí long gone and Disney gone longer still, it came out. The delayed arrival of Destino had to do with money trouble at the Walt Disney Studios not long after the project began, and it seems that few laid eyes on its unfinished materials again until Disney’s nephew Roy E. Disney came across them in 1999. Completed, it premiered at the 2003 New York Film Festival and received an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Short Film. Now, seventeen years later, we know for sure that Destino has found a place in the culture, because someone has mashed it up with Pink Floyd.
This is not the end of the story…
COMING SOON:Much more on Destino from the Federal Observer…
Well the Mainstream Media won’t cover this, so we will…
Washington D.C., Jan 24, 2020 ~ President Donald Trump addressed the annual March for Life Friday, telling pro-life demonstrators that he is an advocate for the right to life of unborn children, and calling for a federal prohibition on late-term abortion. Continue reading →
Bloomberg to Gun Owners: Your Worst Nightmare is Coming
Bloomberg is coming for your guns America. That’s what he wants you to think anyway, from the looks of his flashy new tv ad rolling out on television and youtube. Bloomberg is the enemy of gun owners across America.
The ad has started appearing on youtube commercials and television this Monday, where he calls out the NRA and “gun lobby.” The voice goes on to say that he is their “worst nightmare.”… (Continue to full article)
VA Councilman Brings Ar-15 To Meeting, Triggering Liberals
VA Councilman Nathan Clark strapped on an AR-15 and wore it to a Portsmouth city council meeting. Three of the council members threw a fit and called for his resignation. Four others agreed with his display and a resolution declaring themselves a “Second Amendment Constitutional City” passed 4-3.
The whining from three of the council members revealed what they thought was “intimidation,” and one called for his resignation.
“It was a disgrace, disheartening and an embarrassment. Most of us were blindsided by the display.” Vice Mayor Lisa Lucas-Burke
An “embarrassment?” The liberals are the embarrassment. The VA councilman is a current law enforcement officer. Another council member stood with Councilman Clark… (Continue to full article)
Virginia Democrats trying to prevent political backlash over gun proposals
Despite throngs of gun rights protesters who swarmed city council meetings demanding their counties be declared as “Second Amendment sanctuaries” and attending Lobby Day in Richmond on Monday for the annual gun rights rally hosted by the Virginia Civil Defense League, Democrats in the commonwealth are undeterred.
Virginia Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam supports eight gun control bills, and Democrats have already passed three of the measures in the state Senate: universal background checks, bringing back the state’s one-gun-a-month policy, and banning guns at public events… (Continue to full article)
VA Democrats Vow To Ignore Voices Of Richmond Rally Goers
If 20,000+ people show up to tell you what they think, that’s usually a sign you should probably at least consider listening. That’s especially true when they’re calling for you to respect their rights.
That’s about how many people showed up in Richmond, a powerful reminder that Virginians aren’t united behind this anti-gun nonsense.
However, despite the massive numbers that showed up, Democrats in the state have vowed to basically ignore them…. (Continue to full article)
Virginia Senate Moves Forward On Red Flag Law
A day after tens of thousands of Virginia gun owners and Second Amendment supporters thronged the state capitol in Richmond to oppose Gov. Ralph Northam’s anti-gun agenda, the state Senate moved a “red flag” proposal on to third reading, but not before the bill was once again amended substantially… (Continue to full article)
Nonviolence is a powerful and just weapon, which cuts without wounding and ennobles the man who wields it. It is a sword that heals.~ Martin Luther King Jr.
There’s plenty of misinformation running around about Martin Luther King Jr. and his views on self defense and the 2nd Amendment. Anti-gunners often believe anyone who owns a firearm is inherently violent – even though firearms are inanimate objects, no more or less violent than a hammer or dinner plate. They take this belief and twist one of Martin Luther King Jr.’s quotes into an anti-gun campaign. Continue reading →

VA state police drive over 100 miles to intimidate law biding citizens a head of lobby day
This incident occurred on Saturday, 01.18.2020 at 8:57 in the morning. My husband became a target of the pending Red Flag Law in VA. The reason the police came is due to a visit George made to the Capitol in order to become situationally aware of his surroundings on Lobby Day. His observations and the pictures he took made Capitol police concerned.
George was not the only person on Capitol grounds that day. He was not the only person taking pictures either. But George’s size and stature coupled with his purposeful actions made him a target for a dry run on Red Flag laws on a citizen of Virginia. Red Flag Laws have not been legalized in VA at this point.
The police told us they had a tip about George but what we soon discovered was the tip to the police came from the Capitol police itself. The Capitol police saw my husband a threat and then tagged him as a danger. Ten days later the Capitol police, escorted with a State trooper came to our home. We had been rousted at our home on a quiet Saturday morning. Our home which is over a hundred miles from the Capitol and located at a 2nd amendment Sanctuary County.
At this point you should know that one of them was a Capitol police officer and the other was a State Trooper, homicide division. The two officers had their hand on their weapons when my husband stepped out the door to greet them. And the rest you can see on this video. Please share this with anyone who has questions about the Red Flag Laws being proposed. Trump was correct when he said, “They are not after me. They are after you”.
Is it any wonder that our military lacks representation from urban and coastal population centers?
There was a time in America when each generation learned about love of country and the importance of service. It didn’t matter whether a kid grew up in the Bronx or in a small town in Mississippi. Despite our geographic and cultural differences, there was a common thread that tied us all together.

The emails were solicitous, offering to arrange a customized tour of campus or to set up a one-on-one meeting for the actress Lori Loughlin’s elder daughter with a university official.
Even as Ms. Loughlin and her husband were conspiring, prosecutors say, to bribe their daughter’s way into the University of Southern California, the school itself was courting them for donations and offering special treatment of the daughter’s application, new emails disclosed in the college admissions case show. As baby boomers begin to downsize, they are discovering their grown children do not want their stuff. In fact, they recoil in something close to horror at the thought of trying to find room for collections of Hummels and Thomas Kinkade paintings.
Rosalie Kelleher stands in front of a hutch containing teacups and tea sets from around the world – a few of the treasures that made the cut in their six-year downsizing process from their home in New Bedford, Mass., on July 12, 2017. ~ July 25, 2017
Two hundred stuffed animals, two violins, and a 7-1/2 foot-tall Christmas tree: That was just a corner of the possessions Rosalie and Bill Kelleher accumulated over their 47-year marriage. And, they realized, it was about 199 stuffed animals more than their two grown children wanted. Continue reading →
Given the timing and the approach of the anniversary of LaVoy’s meeting with the Grim Reaper, I wanted to try to present a few different angles to the story that haven’t been too fully explored. His murder was just such a truly avoidable and unnecessary act, but it was almost as though the FBI’s Swift Response team, SWAT, and the Oregon Highway Patrol put the entire structure for his execution together, as some sort of evil, vile and sordid live training exercise, cognizant the entire time that it would end with LaVoy lying on his back, on the snow-covered ground, knees slightly bent in his final death throes.
It’s beyond me how anyone could see this as serving justice. It’s beyond me how law enforcement justified such a mission, given all it already knew and all that was already in the works to end this peacefully. It’s beyond me how anyone could say this was warranted and lawful, just because the men who committed the murder held badges.
I do understand there are many fine men in law enforcement, and I have known quite a few of them in my lifetime, and called them my “close friend”. But for some reason, as the corruption continues to grow at all levels of our government, it is now virtually impossible to tell the “good guys” from the “bad guys” in law enforcement. The incongruity of it all is infuriating, since law enforcement by its very charter and definition should not have any “bad guys” within its organizations.
Keep LaVoy’s memory alive and as a reminder to all freedom loving Americans that ultimately in the final analysis, we cannot depend on government to properly defend us from much of anything. The defense of freedom and liberty and one’s self, family and property ultimately falls to each individual of the country, from wherever they may hail. ~ J.O.S.
Robert “LaVoy” Finicum
Raised in the northwestern corner of Arizona Navajo territory, Robert LaVoy Finicum largely came to manhood in and around the sprawling area of Fredonia and Colorado City, Arizona, just off State Route 389, and Hildale, Utah, before his fateful death, his murder by law enforcement, near Burns, Oregon on January 26th 2016, just one day before his 55th birthday. His name is a hallowed one in the annals of the Patriot movement and the minds of most American Patriots, as a man who was willing to fight for those ideas of freedom and liberty and the Founding principles of America. Here is MORE proof that these openly ANTI-AMERICAN people need to be arrested, prosecuted, imprisoned, and then after they serve their “life” sentences with no parole their remains need to be deported.
This particular female proves day in and day out she is here to destroy this nation and all in it in any way she can do it. She isn’t really any different than the Iranian terrorist that was just taken out. That one was a *guest* in the White House when Obama occupied it. Omar is a planted politician who was voted in by the transplants in Minnesota. Giving the VOTE to these foreign transplants is no different than giving IED’s to them. The so called REFUGEE resettlement program has turned out to be the open door to foreign terrorists. We need to cease bringing in and supporting these people as they are the tools of the army sent to destroy America from Within. If they don’t want the government in the country they come from then they need to CHANGE IT THERE…. not come here and destroy our country.
Omar has been found guilty of so many criminal acts – WHY is she still holding any political office much less not sitting in a jail cell?????????
“We’re developing a new citizenry.. One that will be very selective about cereals and automobiles, but won’t be able to think.” ~ Rod Serling
Have you noticed how much life increasingly feels like an episode of The Twilight Zone?
Only instead of Rod Serling’s imaginary “land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas,” we’re trapped in a topsy-turvy, all-too-real land of corruption, brutality and lies, where freedom, justice and integrity play second fiddle to political ambition, corporate greed, and bureaucratic tyranny.
It’s not merely that life in the American Police State is more brutal, or more unjust, or even more corrupt. It’s getting more idiotic, more perverse, and more outlandish by the day. Continue reading →
Hollywood has a clever way of distorting our perspective on history, and a great example of this is Western film – a movie genre we’ve all come to love. Cattle rustlers, guns blazing, outlaws running loose, and vigilantes dishing out vengeance indiscriminately. These scenes have become more synonymous with the American Frontier than Winchester and their “Cartridge That Won the West.” But these fictional tales have produced more than entertainment for over a century; they’ve also contributed to an ongoing, subtle push for gun control, all while making Hollywood millions. With all that is going on in this nation, there are numerous comparisons to Dickens’ Tale of Two Cities. Prepare now to meet your maker – but may the fight continue until Victory! ~ Ed.
Ronald Colman as Sydney Carton ~ Did you notice that his number was 23? As in Psalms 23?
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
And the writer noted: “A group backed by former President Barack Obama and headed by former Attorney General Eric Holder poured $1 million into the Virginia gubernatorial race in support of Democrat Ralph Northam, who on Tuesday defeated Republican Ed Gillespie. Other prominent liberals, including progressive mega-donor Tom Steyer and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, also devoted large sums of money and resources into the effort to elect Northam.” Continue reading →
