Do we have the time, or is this the beginning of the end of life in America as we have known it? This is where you will find a range of Editorial postings and comments by a select group of writers, many of who have had long term relations with Kettle Moraine Publications – and EACH of whom provide us with THEIR Perspectives as this Nation ignores the warnings as we live in the end of days – for most Americans’ are Too Blind to See – and we once again convert back to one of our OLD and DEFINITIVE categories – POINT BLANK!

Carl Sagan Saw US Schools Were Ruining Kids Decades Ago: ‘Something Terrible Has Happened

Despite the extravagant spending, our schools are failing our kids. Carl Sagan saw it. John Taylor Gatto saw it. And we all see it today.

My wife and I recently met with the principal of the school our daughter attends to discuss her education future.

My daughter, who turns 12 in a few days, wants to go to a different school in the fall, largely because many of her friends – who are a year ahead of her – are graduating to new schools. (And also because her teacher, whom she adored, took a job in a different district.)

When we stepped into the principal’s office, she offered us chairs. She was warm, knowledgeable, and helpful, and I got the feeling she knows my daughter and wants what is best for her. I suspect my daughter will return to the school for one more year, but it’s a conversation we’ll have together. Continue reading

Time To End The Fed And Its Mismanagement Of Our Economy

Every major economic downturn of the last 110 years bears the mark of the Federal Reserve.

AP Photo/Andrew Harnik

In fact, as long as the Fed has been around, it has swung the economy between inflation and recession. Yet Americans, surprisingly, have tolerated it.

But we shouldn’t expect that to go on forever. We had three central banks before the Fed, and confined each to the ash heap of history.

The problems inherent to central banking are cause to scrap the Fed as well.

SOLD! TO THE ASIAN MAN IN THE NICE SUIT!”

“Sold! To The Asian Man Who Looks Like Winnie The Pooh”

As a long time-Senator, Joe Biden was allowed to scoop up kickbacks as long as it didn’t interfere with the interests of his masters—the globalist central bankers and Delaware credit card companies. As long he carried out their bidding in the Senate, Joe was relatively safe to pursue his ‘side hustles.’

“Lunch bucket Joe” always pretended to care about the middle class (while crushing them). What Joe really wanted was money—and plenty of it. He also wanted to rub shoulders with the east coast elites and go to their parties. Joe’s ‘I’m a regular guy’ schtick was just a cover for his real motive: Doing whatever it took to gain fame and easy money.

Joe has always been a con artist and grifter, but the media (also controlled by those same bankers) did not allow investigative journalists to plumb the Biden cesspool too deeply.

Americans Are Being Led By a Lying Media and Corrupt Political Class

Is a Gadarene Swine moment coming for many of us?

Each morning I do a quick scan of the headlines coming over the wire services, clear my emails and Facebook entries, and then take a closer look at The New York Times online, paying particular attention to the opinion pages. I usually am not disappointed in my belief that the President Joe Biden Administration as well as ex-President Donald Trump, have been and continue to be collectively destroying what was once an admirable nation, something like flushing us repeatedly down the toilets of their ambition and greed. Some NYC schools forced to turn away kids on first day of school as influx of migrants joins classrooms
The first day of classes kicked off in New York City as schools grapple with the influx of migrant students, with some buildings turning away kids as 21,000 children seeking asylum inundated already jam-packed classrooms.

The line to get inside Newcomers High School in Long Island City stretched around the block early Thursday as frustrated teachers vented that the building had already hit capacity, pushing students at Gotham — a different school inside the building — to a facility across the street.

“It’s a capacity issue,” a teacher told The Post. “They should have worked this out two days ago!”

Many of the migrant students were beaming and proudly wearing their Queens shelter IDs around their necks… (Continue to full article)

The Mayor

Radical Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego Begins Implementing Climate Organization’s Goal to Ban Meat, Dairy, and Private Vehicles In 14 US Cities by 2030

Their mission and mandate include a Race to Zero global campaign to reach net-zero carbon emissions in 1,000 cities worldwide and “sustainable food policies” that support “an overall increase of healthy plant-based food consumption in our cities by shifting away from unsustainable, unhealthy diets,” A.K.A. carnivorous diets.

This also comes as fraudulently elected Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs recently declared a “heat state of emergency,” mainly in Phoenix, likely meant to accelerate the implementation of these radical policies.

Arizona Patriots showed up to give Public Comment at a recent Phoenix City Council meeting and reportedly “told the mayor they do not support policies banning meat.” Later that day, the nervous Phoenix Mayor posted a bizarre photo on X, claiming she is not working to ban meat or milk. In the poorly staged propaganda photo, Gallego is seen pouring milk into a bowl and seemingly “enjoying cereal” with a knife… (Continue to full article)

Mexico makes agreement with US to deport migrants from its border cities amid ongoing surge in illegal migration
Mexican officials met with US Customs and Border Protection officials on Friday in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, which is across the border from El Paso, Texas, following the recent spike in illegal crossings into the US, which temporarily closed an international bridge and paused Mexico’s main cargo train system.

As part of the agreement, Mexico agreed to “depressurize” its northern cities, which border El Paso, San Diego and Eagle Pass, Texas, where the mayor has declared a state of emergency. They will also implement more than a dozen actions to prevent migrants from risking their lives by using the railway system to reach the US-Mexico border, according to Mexico’s National Migration Institute.

The move comes as migrant crossings along the border are rising, surpassing 8,600 over a 24-hour period this week, according to a Department of Homeland Security official. It is up from around 3,500 daily border arrests after the expiration in May of Title 42 triggered new consequences for those who cross the border illegally. There were more than 8,000 apprehensions on Monday… (Continue to full article)

The Civil Disobedience of Raising a Family

Times have changed, and those who hold to traditional societal norms are the new face of counter culturalism…

In case you haven’t noticed, times have changed, and somehow, those who hold to traditional societal norms have become the new face of counter culturalism. As this is unfamiliar territory to those on the traditional end of the spectrum, a few lessons are needed in how to live up to this new moniker. One of those lessons is how to engage in civil disobedience. Continue reading

Paul: The Death of Informed Consent

Here’s what never happened in the hospital during COVID: a doctor sat down next to a patient and said, “You have a choice. We can give you Remdesivir, which killed 53% of the patients in an Ebola trial. It was so bad the trial had to be shut down. And you’ll notice here in Remdesivir’s fact sheet, it says, ‘Not a lot of people have used Remdesivir. Serious and unexpected side effects may happen.’ Or we can give you ivermectin, a safe and effective drug that’s been successfully used for decades, and send you home. Which do you prefer?” Continue reading

Child Speech Issues: Return of the Masks

We know how detrimental masking was for kids the first time around. Are we really going to stand for it happening again?

COVID hysteria is slowly happening again. First, Lionsgate Film Studio put back on the mask. Then, Morris Brown College in Georgia put back on the mask. Next, President Joe Biden put back on the mask. And finally, schools across the country are trying to adopt masking yet again.

It’s COVID 2.0: Return of the Mask Mandates, and we’re letting it gain a foothold even after we know masking was a terrible and ineffective decision. It was especially detrimental when it came to the educational and academic development of our children. Continue reading

Reagan: Saving Our Kids From the Wackos and Dirty Books

Sen. John Kennedy bravely quoted some choice excerpts from “All Boys Aren’t Blue” and “Gender Queer.”

Thank God for Sen. John Kennedy of Louisiana.

I wish every major television and radio network in the country had covered what the smart and colorful Republican did in the Senate this week.

As part of a hearing looking into the alleged threat to freedom posed by parents who want to have sexually explicit gay and trans books removed from their school libraries, Kennedy bravely quoted some choice excerpts from two of the books.

While he read out loud from “All Boys Aren’t Blue” and “Gender Queer,” every adult in the room with a brain and a lick of common sense squirmed uncomfortably in their seats. Continue reading

The Mills of the Gods

We didn’t love freedom enough.” ~ Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn

Do you think that more than half of the US public may be getting a little irked with “Joe Biden’s” lawfare elf, AG Merrick Garland, as he rolls one innocent J-6 protester after another into decades of hard-time for strolling through the US Capitol building — while the special counsels assigned to only a few of the Biden family crimes play hide-the-salami with due process?

For all their cheap talk about “our democracy,” it’s a little scary to see what Democratic Party lawyers actually think of the legal system that is supposed to allow a society based on liberty to function fairly. Court filings last week indicate that Special Counsel David Weiss is about to indict Hunter Biden on that gun charge they have used as the joker in a three-card Monte game for going on five years. Holmquist: One Simple Thing Anyone Can Do to Save America

Embracing children rather than reviling them is a great start

With the American way of life visibly crumbling, I get a lot of people asking me some form of the question, “But what can I do to save America?”

I’ve given various answers to those who ask this, but a new pat answer popped into my mind the other day: Be like Amber de la Motte.

If you just gave me a perplexed stare and uttered, “Who?” don’t worry. I only came across Amber de la Motte a few weeks ago myself. She and her husband and their 10 kids living in New York City are a fun follow on Instagram. Continue reading

This Could Devastate Christian Education

The LGBTQ lobby has targeted Christian schools for destruction, using the so-called “Equality Act” to force all Christians schools, pre-K through college, to accept all aspects of the LGBTQ agenda … or be stripped of accreditation and face lawsuits and persecution by the U.S. Department of Justice.

The bill passed the House in 2019 and 2021. It was reintroduced in the 118th Congress on June 21, 2023, in the House of Representatives and Senate. And now HR 15 already has 212 Democrat co-sponsors in the House. All they need is six Republicans to pass this bill.

With Congress back in session, HR 15 is a high priority for LGBTQ advocates. If this bill is signed into law, it would be a devastating blow to religious freedom and Christian education in America that would be very difficult to recover from. It’s not too late to stop it. ~ Mat

Medical Whistleblowers Speak Out

The Hidden Dangers of the COVID-19 Vaccine and the Diabetes Time Bomb!

You’ve been fed a narrative that’s as shaky as a house of cards, and it’s about time someone toppled it over. We’ve been told that the COVID-19 injection is our savior, our ticket back to normalcy. But what if I told you that this so-called “miracle cure” is nothing but a ticking time bomb?

The Real Reason Drugs Cost So Much — and Do Too Little

We’re still going to be paying too much for the wrong drugs.

Until 2003, Medicare covered most hospital and doctor visits for the elderly, but it did not cover the ever-growing costs of prescription medications. Former President George W. Bush changed that when he signed a law adding prescription drug coverage to Medicare.

But there was a catch… Continue reading

The Next Crisis Is Anyone’s Guess, But the Government Is Ready to Lockdown the Nation

“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary.” ~ H.L. Mencken

First came 9/11, which the government used to transform itself into a police state.

Then the COVID-19 pandemic hit, which the police state used to test out its lockdown powers.

In light of the government’s tendency to exploit crises (legitimate or manufactured) and capitalize on the nation’s heightened emotions, confusion and fear as a means of extending the reach of the police state, one has to wonder what so-called crisis it will declare next.

It’s a simple enough formula: first, you create fear, then you capitalize on it by seizing power.

Frankly, it doesn’t even matter what the nature of the next national emergency might be (terrorism, civil unrest, economic collapse, a health scare, or the environment) as long as it allows the government to lockdown the nation and justify all manner of tyranny in the so-called name of national security. First Drugs Chosen for Medicare Negotiations Hit Close to Home for Cardiologists

Optimism must be balanced with conservative expectations given the unknown nature of the cost impact.

This week, the Biden-Harris administration announced the first 10 drugs that Medicare will be allowed to negotiate prices for beginning in 2026 – the list contains many medications that cardiologists commonly prescribe for their patients.

The drugs are part of the first wave of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which aims to reduce prescription drug costs for Medicare beneficiaries while cutting drug spending by the federal government. Already, the IRA has lowered the cost of insulin to $35 or less, and out-of-pocket spending by Medicare beneficiaries is set to be capped at $2,000 per year beginning in 2025. Continue reading

Tucker ~ How Deep Runs the Corruption?

For the last several years, my friends in public health and science have expressed astonishment and professional disorientation at the behavior and messaging of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The scientific journals are part of this.

They simply could not believe the brazen manipulation of science for political purposes. They could not believe that so many people within these agencies and journals went along with it for reasons of career protection. They have been appalled that science and public health have been deployed in this way.

They worry about the future with this level of corruption. And they have been quite passionate in decrying it, while paying a professional price for not going along. Continue reading
