Attention – Danger!!!!

This commentary speaks to America’s parallel with events that began in 1930s Germany and resulted in the meteoric rise of a right-wing group that eventually became the Nazi Party. But in America, it’s not the Nazis that worry me; it’s the Licentious Left that is most worrisome.

America’s takeover by Left-wing Socialists and the impending financial collapse they caused will destroy this country. The parallel to 1930s Germany is unmistakable and undeniable.

History chronicles Germany’s incredible saga of irrevocable decisions, political promises, financial collapse, and well-planned power plays.

It was known as the Third Reich or Third Empire.

The first Reich was the German Empire, the second Reich was the Weimar Republic, and the final and third Reich was Nazi Germany – Hitler’s thousand-year federation.

Germany’s demise and the subsequent rise of the National Socialist Workers Party – the Nazi Party – resulted from a financial collapse caused by enormous debt from funding the government and WWI.

Is this starting to sound familiar?

WWI Financial Costs – 1914 to 1918

· The Allies, Britain, and its Empire spent $47 Billion
· America spent $27 Billion
· Germany spent $45 Billion – this debt was so crushing that it took 92 years to pay off.

As a note, The allied armies of WWII – 1939 to 1945 & America’s Involvement – 1941 to 1945 – was the most expensive war in history, lasting fewer than four years for America and, adjusted for inflation in today’s money, over $4 Trillion!

I’ve used the Nazi analogy many times in the past, yet it becomes more weighty as the days pass and America’s flood of foolishness metastasizes politically; since one side controls the system, they use their advantage to evade constitutional formalities and do whatever suits the cult’s purpose. The “We can do whatever we want, and you can’t stop us…” attitude should terrify Americans. Unfortunately, there is nothing to stop them at this point.

They use the constitution as a doormat.

Democrat-Socialists – DemoSocs – dominate America’s multi-party political system. Yes, the Republican party controls the House of Representatives; but they’re all bark.

Think of the Right – Republicans – as a Toothless Rottweiler – lots of ferocious noise but little deterrence, i.e., no bite.

Americans are being played like a cheap kazoo.

Our unbiased sympathy and desire to prove our open-mindedness and sophistication enticed us to elect one of America’s most corrupt politicians to the presidency – and, of course, the biased mainstream media mafia played a crucial role in the election.

#44 was a divider who did more vindictive damage to this country than anyone before. He was instrumental in moving America to the brink of socialism and training his ventriloquist dummy VP – another professional politician – to continue his quest. In addition, #44 single-handedly undid 100 years of civil-rights gains by reintroducing retaliatory racial divisiveness during his eight-year reign.

Popular opinion and obvious policy choices suggest that #44 and his wife are still running this country – And… She has presidential aspirations. The word DYNASTY comes to mind considering that #46 policies continue #44’s regime and Mrs. #44 as leader of the free world is frightening.

· The Free World is an oxymoron. I joke that an oxymoron is a big, clumsy, stupid person, but in this case, an incongruous, seemingly self-contradictory satire. The world is anything but free…

The phrase “Crossed the Rubicon” has recently been a frequent visitor to media presentations. I sincerely wonder if these talking-heads comprehend the connotation of this statement or if, like everything they spew, it’s all just scripted, programmed, and regurgitated media political babble.

Julius Caesar: “Give them bread and circuses.”

To paraphrase: Crossed the Rubicon refers to Caesar’s point of no return and irreversible decision to begin the civil war on Rome that would eventually end the Roman Republic. He reportedly uttered, “The die is cast,” as he crossed the river.

We have indeed crossed the Rubicon.

There are no markers to lead us back to the beginning; there’s too much debris on the path from recent decisions. We were so arrogant we didn’t bother to consider the consequences of our choices or their impact. That is an inherent flaw in our approach to this republic and, dare I suggest, our lives in general. We act without thinking critically.

We wade into the river, never considering that strong undercurrents or predators may lurk.

There is a chasm in America wider than the Grand Canyon and deeper than the Mariana Trench, splitting this republic along political cult lines. Their ensuing power struggle has torn America apart.

In 1865, the division was North and South before the war of northern aggression. Today the division is ideological but not so geographically bound, although it does appear to be liberal coastal elites versus conservative Middle America.

The conservatives against the liberals is our uncivil civil war. So calling it uncivil is more appropriate since there is nothing civil about war. After all, the intent is to vanquish your opponent at all costs.

Democrats and Republicans fight in the political arena of the mind. Each cult has advantages and disadvantages – points of good and evil. Sadly our republic is both the battleground and the casualty. Either party may gain, but the loser is the republic – the people – who will ultimately lose and bear the entire cost.

Whatever happened to compromise as a possible solution? Unfortunately, the two main combatants won’t be satisfied until the other is annihilated.

One group, the Right, favors a constitutional approach to big government, and the alternate side, the Left, leans toward socialism; they are diametric and incongruous ideologies. We, libertarians, want minor intervention from a fiscally responsible administration that follows the constitution.

Well, citizens, the die was cast with the indictment of #45. The Left has weaponized the media, big-tech, and the government to persecute #45 and any other political opponent.

The official malady is Trump Derangement Syndrome – TDS – an all-consuming hatred for everything Trump and merely the latest tool in the Left’s arsenal to vanquish all conservative ideals, much like the Gestapo of the 1930s, who persecuted Jews and non-Arians.

#46 referred to the Right as enemies of the state and the Ultra Uber Super Duper – Make America Great Again (UUSD-MAGA) adherents as domestic terrorists as a threat to and intent on destroying democracy.

Regardless of your personal view of #45, the damage done by TDS to our republic is irreparable. That’s our Rubicon. The Left dragged us into the river, intending to cross come hell or high water – so much for a representative republic.

Lavrentiy Deria, the most ruthless and longest-serving secret police chief in Joseph Stalin’s reign of terror in Russia and Eastern Europe, said, “Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime…” It is precisely what we have in this case against #45. The NYC DA (Alvin Bragg – not of Alvin and the Chipmunks fame) campaigned on “Getting #45 at all costs.”

The precedent this indictment sets has far-reaching implications locally and worldwide; when third-world countries remark that America has lost its right to act as the world’s democratic and moral leader. You know, the shit has hit the fan when a banana republic’s president references our backsliding democracy as hypocritical.

In just two years, America has lost its status as the most powerful nation in the world and world economic leader. We’re no longer the world’s moral and financial example or one of the last surviving functional democratic republics. Denmark, Norway, and Finland are doing better than the good old US of A, but, unfortunately, we’re no better than the banana republics we continually condemn.

We owe a rousing standing ovation to the Democrat-Socialists for this monumental fiasco and our Republican comrades who slept through the warning events. But where are the government watchdogs that should have prevented it? Oh, yea… we used to have a constitution to guide us and prevent appropriation and expropriation, but it now lines the bottom of the presidential parrot cage.

We are TARFU!

Clandestine tactics are now overt and in your face. The DemoSocs have their own cult of fervent believers and joined with the TDS cult’s rabid followers. We poor Independents remain in the middle, lamenting the death of our Constitutional Republic. That’s the predicament created by two-party politics and no liability for their actions.

Democracy is a curious ideology. It leads adherents to believe it’s the only viable dogma and any transgression, even violence on its behalf, is perfectly acceptable in the name of free speech and expression.

Anything and everything for the cause!

That’s what brought us to the Rubicon.

Democracy Building Exercise in Iraqistan…
Iraqistan is my illusory combination of Iraq and Afghanistan. But, since that area is still the focus of our proselytizing the Muslim world to democracy, I’ll include the entire region. I think Iraqistan has a nice ring…

Since most of the world’s countries insist they are quasi-democratic, it stands to reason that America was the shepherd of this scattered flock, seeking to reunite them into one big happy family with America as patriarch. Sadly, these sheep are fully aware of our duplicity and recognize that aid money does not buy friendship or allegiance; it adds them to our list of dependents.

They don’t want anything we have, except our money. That’s our folly in the Iraqistan region. Big Diplomacy is irrational and ill-conceived. If America’s foolish enough to send them money, who’s the fool – the sender or the one who accepts it?

What did we expect in return – outright fealty?

Did we expect them to abandon millennia of religious and dynastic rule for a few billion dollars and become the model Christians America professes to be? Our leadership example is – to put it mildly – pretty friggin poor. People are not blind. They can see through our pretense and charade of propriety.

Our war on terror cost America $8 TRILLION!

AND…

The Iraqistan war contributed $2.313 Trillion to that total.

We sent them $1.1 Billion in humanitarian aid because we bombed them, and we are now paying them for the opportunity and privilege.

That doesn’t include – according to DemoSocs, $7 billion in equipment for the Taliban, but Republicans claim it was $85 billion. You didn’t actually expect them to agree, did you?

Regardless, the haphazard coitus interruptus in Iraqistan was a momentous step backward in diplomatic strategy. Democratization and conversion of Muslims and Islamists to Bidenism would have to wait for the next colonialization window. Maybe more money would grease the skids a little…

America made some real bone-headed blunders in the past, but this lapse of reason is incalculable and inexcusable. Yet, here we are, sucking up to that entire region for oil while #46 avows that he will end America’s use of fossil fuel in favor of sustainable power sources.

WTFO?

While our humanitarian efforts are paying no dividends in Iraqistan, the Right is bleeding from the Left’s beatings to improve morale by transitioning to socialism. Nothing unifies citizens better than calling half of them traitors and domestic terrorists.

A superpower in the ’30s, Germany crumbled under the financial pressure of supporting the government and its wars. America is no different. We’re reeling from unchecked government spending. Budget estimates for next year top $7 trillion, and there is no indication of serious efforts to reduce the grip of the Military Industrial Congressional Complex’s hold on the purse strings.

Do you see the parallel?

We’ve crossed the Rubicon fiscally and morally.

The DemoSocs have coopted and corrupted our government by legislating away the basic precepts of our constitution, interfering with the state’s voting laws, and spending us into receivership. They’ve weaponized two of the three departments of our government and are working to change the dynamics of the third.

But it’s not just the DemoSocs; the Republicans are on a power crusade of their own. Congress – the opposite of progress – is feckless and mired in self-serving partisan arguments that ignore those who elected them. There’s no constituency representation, only the symbiotic relationship with their donors.

Election tampering, influence peddling, weaponized government agencies, runaway spending, a failing economy, bank closures, and rampant inflation ride on top of unemployment, government insolvency, and inefficiencies.

We’re the mirror of 1930s Germany!

The next step will be the actual insurrection that the Biden Reich hopes to incite, continuing TDS.

If the DemoSocs can goad the right into a civil uprising or conflict, they can declare martial law, and the coup d’état will be complete.

Are we the generation that will fulfill Ronald Reagan’s prediction:

“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”

Charles R. Dickens was born in 1951, is a veteran of the Vietnam war, for which he volunteered, and the great-great grandson of the noted author, whose name he shares.

He is a fiercely proud American, who still believes this is the greatest country on the planet, with which we’ve lost control and certainly our direction. He grew up in moderate financial surrounding; we’re not rich by any stretch, but didn’t go hungry – his incredibly hard working father saw to that. As most from that era, he learned about life from his father, whose story would take too long to tell, other than to say that, he is also a fiercely proud American; a WWII and Korean war, veteran Marine.

Charlie was educated in the parochial system which, demanded that you actually learn something, and have capability to retain it before you advance. He attended several universities in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree, and chased the goose further to a master’s, and has retained some very definite ideas about education in this country.

In addition, Charlie is a retired blues guitar and vocalist – a musician. This was his therapy career. Nothing brings him as much joy as playing music, and he wishes that he could make a living at it… but alas… life goes on!
