How does America survive when its citizens belong to two divided camps that believe fundamentally incompatible things?
Over the last century, there has been a trend to establish “truth and reconciliation commissions” in countries emerging from periods of political terrorism, totalitarianism, or civil war. The idea is to acknowledge the crimes and atrocities that past governments officially sanctioned and to recognize the harms inflicted upon their victims. As is often the case when governments “disappear” citizens or throw them in gulags for their politically incorrect thoughts, it is the not knowing that haunts society. Survivors bereft of answers are left with inconsolable anguish. The commissions are often used as a first step toward healing grave national trauma.
It is no surprise that these commissions generally reflect the worldviews of the prevailing government that forms them. Communist governments are quick to label past “right-wing” officials as “murderers” while memorializing their own murderers as “patriots,” “civil rights heroes,” or “noble revolutionaries.” Continue reading →

The CDC’s acting director will decide whether to accept the recommendations.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention should recommend that people receive a COVID-19 vaccine only after speaking with a health care provider, agency advisers said on Sept. 19.
The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) unanimously advised the CDC to change its immunization schedules to move COVID-19 vaccination to shared clinical decision-making.
For most tiers of recommendations on the schedule, the default decision should be to vaccinate the patient based on age group or other indication, unless contraindicated, the CDC states. “For shared clinical decision-making recommendations, there is no default.” Instead, vaccinations “are individually based and informed by a decision process between the health care provider and the patient or parent/guardian.” Continue reading →

On the same day this week that a leftist sniper unleashed a deadly attack on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Dallas, fliers were spotted on the campus of Georgetown University for something called the John Brown Club. The fliers quoted a phrase that Charlie Kirk’s assassin, Tyler Robinson, inscribed on one of the bullets recovered from his rifle: “Hey, Fascist! Catch!” Under this, the flier read, “The only political group that celebrates when Nazis die.”

What we are witnessing is not a government of the people, by the people, and for the people; it is a government over the people.

U.S. Man Charged $5,000 for Sitting in the ER Waiting Room — and Never Saw a Doctor If you’re not an experienced parent and maybe a little bit prone to overreaction, you too would rush your child to the emergency room when they suddenly developed a rash. You’re going to have to cough up a lot of cash to ultimately be prescribed a topical ointment you could’ve been told to get by an urgent care doctor, but that’s parenting. It happens.

Charlie Kirk Assassination Stirs Fears of Rising Political Violence

The Sept. 10 death of Charlie Kirk – the highest-profile U.S. political figure to be assassinated in nearly six decades – represents a tipping point for the nation, legal scholars and others told The Epoch Times. How leaders and the populace react to it could determine whether the tide of political violence continues to rise or recedes.
The 31-year-old father of two was fatally shot in the neck as he spoke on a Utah college campus. As of Sept. 11, the gunman remained unidentified and on the loose; police detained two people but released both after questioning.

According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, soybeans farmers are poised to harvest “tens of millions of tons of soybeans,” but their biggest market, China, is not buying, thereby putting pressure of the Trump administration to make a tariff deal.

US Companies ‘Upset, Shocked, Freaked Out’ Over 10% Spike in Health Insurance Costs — the Highest in 15 Years US employers are bracing for the steepest jump in health insurance costs in at least 15 years, with premiums projected to climb nearly 10% next year — on top of years of already sharp increases.

Trump Approval Drops to Record Low of Second Term Trump’s approval rating dropped to its lowest level of his second term in the YouGov/Economist poll released Tuesday.
In the weekly survey, conducted this past weekend, 39 percent of surveyed Americans approve of Trump’s handling of the presidency, down from the 41 percent recorded over the last three weeks and 40 percent recorded in mid-August.

The Democratic governor is implementing reductions at the state’s Division of Developmental Disabilities, which serves more than 60,000 Arizonans, following Republican lawmakers’ harsh criticism earlier this year for massive cost overruns.

Sen. Rand Paul is calling for Dr. Anthony Fauci to reappear before Congress after emails were uncovered that contradict his testimony to lawmakers.
The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee obtained documents showing that Dr. Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, directed NIH employees to destroy records.

By the time he set off on his final campus speaking tour, Charlie Kirk had built an organization of some 250,000 members, all the while engaging in conservative political organizing, engineering get-out-the-vote efforts, drawing tens of millions of dollars in funding, and growing a media influence machine.
A driving force behind Kirk’s movement, Turning Point USA, has been his focus on engaging young minds in political debate and setting an example for new generations of political influencers like himself.
Through this mission, Kirk often found himself on a college campus, delivering a speech or sitting down with a table and a microphone and defying his critics with the prompt “prove me wrong,” even in the face of insults and threats.
This was one of Charlie Kirk’s last posts on X. Like his Savior, Kirk was an exceptional influencer who exemplified grace, love, and understanding. For this, the left had him assassinated.
