A recent article in the American Medical Association’s AMA Journal of Ethics is suggesting taxpayers should pay the bill for biological men who choose to get a uterus transplant (UTx) from dead women.
Sounding more like something from a Frankenstein movie, the AMA paper says there are no moral or ethical reasons why you and I shouldn’t pony up our taxpayer dollars to help transgenders improve their “mental health.” Continue reading →
A well-known medical organization claims it will take a more critical look at the supposed science behind body-chopping surgeries for gender-confused transgender children but a second medical group says don’t be fooled. Continue reading →
Since its founding in 1913, the unelected central planning bureaucrats at the Federal Reserve have been given the incredible privilege of legally creating money out of thin air, which mere mortals like us are not allowed to do. They have also been given the tremendous responsibility of maintaining (1) maximum employment, (2) a stable price level, and (3) low interest rates.
How have they done so far?
Since 1913, the bureaucrats at the Fed have helped cause… Continue reading →
“La commedia è finita!” summarizes where the United States and Europe now stand in the Great Phony Postpandemic Disinflation. Why phony? Reported consumer price index (CPI) inflation has been falling in the US and Europe; but this has little to do with the advertised monetary tightening by the Federal Reserve, European Central Bank (ECB), and Bank of England.
Rather, the decline in reported CPI inflation is consistent with a natural downward rhythm of prices, reflecting fading pandemic restraints on supply. In a good money system, the essence of which is the absence of monetary inflation, average consumer prices (as represented by the CPI) would have long ago returned to their prepandemic levels. “This voter is not convinced by virtues or statistics. He is convinced by dreams, visions, stories and jokes.” ~ Curtis Yarvin
Draw back from the scene and understand that the sheer heaping-up of procedural legal bullshit in the various sham court cases against candidate Donald Trump is largely an attempt to confound, mystify, and preoccupy the public while the great scaffold of our national life collapses. The news — both legacy and alt — will be dominated day after day by analyses of every move and counter-move through endless thickets of courtroom minutiae while the US economy crashes and burns, residual wealth is confiscated, and the American social order turns into something like fiery goo. It won’t be long before governments around the world, including the one in Washington – self-destruct.
Strong words, but anything less would be naïve.
As economist Herbert Stein once said, “If something cannot go on forever, it has a tendency to stop.” Case in point: fiat money political regimes. Interventionist economies of the West are in a fatal downward spiral, comparable to that of the Roman Empire in the second century, burdened with unsustainable debt and the antiprosperity policies of governments, especially the Green New Deal. As the Bolshevik Democrats destroy the American Republic directly in front of our eyes, the RINOs simply sit on their hands while making wimpy excuses about why they shouldn’t impeach an obvious criminal currently residing in the White House – Joe Biden.
When Pelosi was Speaker of the House, she had no problem impeaching President Trump not once, but twice on completely ridiculous charges. Now the Republican Speaker of The House, Kevin McCarthy, can’t find the backbone to impeach Biden – even though he is armed with ample and overwhelming evidence of Joe’s treasonous crimes. I recently got a tract from Frontline Ministries in Columbia, South Carolina that dealt with Christian pastors ignoring what goes on in government schools. The author of the tract, E. Ray Moore, Th. M. noted some interesting statistics regarding the attitudes of many Christian pastors regarding the mushrooming anti-Christian bias in what passes for education in public (government) schools. This is something I have noted in evangelical circles for almost five decades now. Many evangelicals, pastors included, if given their choice, will defend public education rather than expose its evils. Then they wonder why they have problems with their kids who went to public schools! Continue reading →
According to records, the former NIH Director, Dr. Francis Collins, and former NIAID Director, Dr. Anthony Fauci, made huge profits from royalty checks during the Chinese virus-fueled pandemic. At the same time, thousands of people struggled to put food on the table.
OpenTheBooks, a transparency organization, recently released over 1,500 unredacted records revealing the leaders of the country’s National Institutes of Health and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases profited off the virus that killed thousands of people.
On top of that, Fauci funded the Wuhan Institute of Virology to research the Coronavirus. Continue reading →
From Parents in Both Canada & The U.S. to PM Justin Trudeau
Maybe THAT’s why Trudeaus’ wife is divorcing him!
The chant that tyrannical Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau cannot possibly ignore: “Leave our children alone!”
ALONE is where Trudeau now is in dismissing gender curriculum concerns for both Christian and Muslim parents who flat out refuse to have their kids transgendered in public schools. Continue reading →
“Every day in communities across the United States, children and adolescents spend the majority of their waking hours in schools that have increasingly come to resemble places of detention more than places of learning.” ~ Investigative journalist Annette Fuentes
This is what it means to go back-to-school in America today.
Instead of being taught the three R’s of education (reading, writing and arithmetic), young people are being drilled in the three I’s of life in the American police state: indoctrination, intimidation and intolerance. Continue reading →
… the unifying vision of Martin Luther King has been betrayed by BLM and their fellow Leftist Zealots
During one of the most famous and admired orations of all time, Dr Martin Luther King spoke of ‘the fierce urgency of now‘ that compelled him to call for social justice.
Re-reading his whole ‘I Have a Dream‘ speech, delivered at Washington DC’s Lincoln Memorial 60 years ago this month, it still shimmers with beauty and brilliance.
The ‘urgency’ King invoked in his plea to right the racial wrongs of America’s past did, indeed, lead to some rapid results.
The dream he laid out, that his ‘four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the colour of their skin but by the content of their character‘ was followed quickly by the great legislative accomplishments of the civil rights movement.
The Civil Rights Act of 1964 outlawed discrimination on the basis of race, colour, religion, sex or national origin. The Voting Rights Act of 1965 outlawed the discriminatory practices adopted by many southern states after the Civil War.
But it wasn’t just desegregation and voting rights that King demanded on August 28, 1963. Continue reading →
The partnership could be bad news for pharmacy benefit managers
Little by little, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) are getting their comeuppance and American consumers are getting their due when it comes to the cost of prescription drugs.
Mark Cuban’s Cost Plus Drugs has cut a deal with Kroger that will give consumers in 35 states the power to find the lowest price for a prescription drug.
Anyone who’s watched ‘Shark Tank’ knows that Cuban is a take-no-prisoners kind of guy and he apparently sees an opportunity when it comes to high-priced drugs.
The Cost Plus business model is simple. It marks up each drug by 15% and adds a $3 pharmacy fee where applicable. The company makes a profit and customers can finally get their prescriptions filled without taking out a loan. (Continue to full column…)
Dr. Jordan B. Peterson discusses the new film “Sound of Freedom,” with star Jim Caviezel and real life inspiration Tim Ballard. The film details Ballard’s work as a Special Agent to fight against sex trafficking and the child sex trade. They go into depth on the psychology of pedophilia, the nature of good and evil, and how a steady faith in God has guided all three.
Tim Ballard is the founder and CEO of Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.), which locates and rescues endangered children victimized by sex trafficking rings. Previously, he accrued a decade of experience as a Special Agent in the Dept. of Homeland Security, working as an undercover op for the U.S. Child Sex Tourism Jump Team.
Jim Caviezel is a prominent American actor and household name in no small part for his portrayal of Jesus Christ in “The Passion of the Christ,” (sequel coming in 2024). He has had a decades long career both on and off screen, and is an advocate for faith in the modern world.
In the preface for Abel Upshur’s book, A Brief Enquiry Into the True Nature and Character of Our Federal Government, the author states, “I know that the actual practice of the federal government for many years past, and the strong tendencies of public opinion in favor of federal power, forbid me to hope for a favorable reception, except from the very few who still cherish the principles which I have endeavored to re-establish.”
Well, I can certainly relate to that!
The sad thing about it is, that book was written in 1840; which means that we have had nearly two centuries of shifting values take place since; meaning the principles he was endeavoring to re-establish have become even less popular today than they were back then. Continue reading →
