Dickens: An Open Letter… Let Them Sink!

     Dickens is ANGRY!

To Whom It May Concern:

Our world and country are in chaos. The partisan political parties battle for control of this republic. Cities are the victims of bad policies, but they re-elect the same type of people to those leadership positions, and there is no end in sight, implying that they don’t want help, have given up, or no longer care.

Our current situation fits Einstein’s definition of insanity perfectly.

Doing the same thing, the same way, expecting different results. (paraphrased)

Violence is out of control in many large cities. No one seems to care, except perhaps the good people living in them, who, by the way, represent the majority. Yet, the minority seems to be in charge, at least according to the mainstream media, whose primary goal is to generate revenue, not to inform and serve the common good. There was a time when the news held meaning, and the mainstream media existed to inform and educate.

Those days are gone!

The media is an extension of the partisan political parties; some media outlets even have their own political agendas.

When someone is drowning, the right thing to do is to throw them a life preserver, or a rope, but it’s up to the person in the water to accept help – to grab the line or floatation device.

In psychology, the key to mental wellness is that the patient must recognize the problem and want to change.

Doctors tell us that the most important key to recovery is the desire to get better, a strong will to live; otherwise, why bother?

I think you get the idea.

By now, you should be aware that America is a democratic republic, which means that the majority of the people have the power to rule. They decide by consensus. They elect representative leaders to manage and administer the cities, counties, states, and country according to the majority’s mandates. That’s how it was intended to work, and yes, it appears to be broken in many places, but no one can force us to fix what’s broken.

That’s not how it works.

When you tell someone to do something, their immediate reaction is to resist. “You Can’t Tell Me What To Do!!!!” Right? It happens every time. Yet here we are watching this exact scenario play out across the country as Trump attempts to solve the crime and other problems in major cities. He’s throwing these cities a lifeline, but they refuse to grab it; they’d rather drown. In fact, part of our Congress, the opposite of progress, calls him a fascist, nazi, and tyrant for wanting to help. They are the person on the dock throwing bricks and boulders, not life preservers or ropes. These Lib-tards, rail against his suggestions, seeing them as anything but attempts to help. But again, that’s their choice. Isn’t it…

No one can force these cities to fix their problems! He can offer assistance and guidance, but you cannot force someone to change – ANYTHING!

My suggestion, Mr. President, is to let them sink. Wait for them to come to you, which they will, eventually, but if they don’t, that’s their choice.

When the good people in these communities have had enough of this horrendous mismanagement and uncontrolled crime from those whom they elected, they will choose sober and competent managers and demand change.

Let them wallow in the shitholes they created.

When they’ve had enough, they will demand change.

When they learn that it’s they who created the problem, they will change.

You cannot force them to accept help. They will only accept it ‘if and when’ they earnestly request it, not before.

I know your heart is in the right place, and that you only want what’s best for America. That’s who you are. Sadly, the people ruining the republic are not like you. Their ideas are not what’s best for America. Their designs are driven by power, control, and the wealth they provide, and everything they do aligns with that goal.

I admit this seems cold and heartless, but no one will ever effect change until change is demanded. It must come from the people most impacted, or the remedy is forced upon them, and that never works.

The best possible scenario is to let these cities and states sink into the depths, and possibly rescue them when the majority asks. You’ve seen and felt the resistance and heard the heinous accusations and rhetoric. They don’t want to be saved or rescued. They would rather go down with this ship of state than to admit they were wrong.

The risk is that what remains may not be worth saving, and from where I sit, we’re already there.

It will not change until the majority decides that they’ve had enough… We’re close, but not there yet.

You can’t save everyone… They must save themselves!

This is all about choice and the power of democracy.

Quite Sincerely

For the Amalgamated Heavy
