Oliver’s Twist

              ‘Twistin’ the Night away...

I sought a deferential theme in keeping with my recent Dickensian motif; my muse proposed a Twist on Oliver. Thank you, friend Bennett…

Oliver Twist: The full title is – Oliver Twist; or, The Parish Boy’s Progress; a novel by Charles Dickens, published serially under the pseudonym “Boz” from 1837 to 1839 in Bentley’s Miscellany and a three-volume book in 1838. The story was the first of the author’s works to depict the impoverished London underworld realistically and to illustrate his belief that poverty leads to crime, a premise embraced by Big Brother, with some rationalizations and twists – naturally…

Crimes’ catalyst is the topic of my commentary. . .

I see DemoSoc Big Brother’s current liberal posture as a tactic to raze the old republic to introduce the New World Order – transformatively speaking and quite literally. Since the US Constitution stands in the way, removing this obstacle is imperative. The best possible path to that end is to manufacture crises, thereby necessitating a reset of our greater expectations and the laws supporting them, orchestrated by none other than DemoSoc Big Brother.

If morality or the law stands between you and your goal, you can change it through an arduous process. Or you can simply invoke Machiavelli’s Gambit – “The End Justifies the Means” to circumvent it. Changing anything requires consent, but Machiavelli’s Gambit gives implicit approval since it’s for the greater good, i.e., in the best interest of the republic.

It is now possible to do whatever you please because you have the infinite power of justification by rationalization.

It’s for the good of the republic, so even if it’s illegal, immoral, amoral, or morally wrong, it’s now permissible.”

Suppose you believe what you see from the mainstream media mafia, ‘merka’s on the verge of collapse. I don’t think that is an exaggeration. I think we’re tap dancing on a landmine. We’ve allowed this republic to fail because we hired the wrong people to run it; they’ve run it into moral and fiscal bankruptcy because our inaction and inattention implied our approval.

I’ll interject a supporting rationale I’ve considered for a few years, and it seems to fit the situation as well as many others. I call it DIE or Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity.

Poverty is not the impetus of criminal behavior; being a victim is. Big Brother owns you when you acquiesce to victimhood, believing it is all you’ll ever attain. “Please, sir… I want some more…

You’ve sold your soul to the devil.

It begins with placing blame rather than accepting responsibility. ‘merka is a society of blamers. Read that line again… Sorry, I couldn’t resist the Bidenism.

We’re programmed to foist our problems upon everyone but not ourselves. We refuse to accept accountability for our actions, decisions, and lives. It’s what the mainstream media mafia tells us and encourages us to do. It’s what their masters, the Bolsheviks, Marxists, and Socialists running this republic intend, and we believe every word because it relieves us of culpability. So, for the sake of brevity, I’ll call the trio – Big Brother; I’m sure Mr. Orwell won’t mind.

We live licentious lives sanctioned by Big Brother. There is no wrong or right, only hedonism. You’re free to explore and satisfy your abhorrent desires; it’s all OK, regardless of the moral, legal, or financial ramifications. Do as you please…

If you’re not fulfilled as a man, identify as a woman and vice versa. We even support gender-affirming surgery; sadly, we promote this perverse mutilation of children. If you’re not satisfied as a human, you can identify as a red-assed baboon should you choose. These reidentifications are symptoms of deep-rooted psychological issues, but the mutilation of children is heinous and reprehensible.

Nonetheless, you don’t change except in your mind, and insisting that everyone else supports your delusion clinches membership in victimhood. Therefore, if only you embrace that change, it must be their problem.

Nothing is free; there is always a cost. Any proposal or offer involving the word “free” is a trap, and the person making the offer is selling something. It’s like quicksand; once you’re in it, you’re stuck forever…

There’s a marvelous analogy in a story about Brer Rabbit and the Tar Baby told by a character named Uncle Remus, in Disney’s 1946 “The Song of the South.”

If I’ve piqued your curiosity, I recommend that you investigate further. If you already have or can find a copy of the video, I give it high marks… and it’s available on YouTube – at least for now… but be warned, it’s controversial.

The most efficient way to control anyone is by promising something, destroying ideals or hope, ensuring they will never reach their dreams, and programming them to blame someone else for keeping them from realizing them. Congratulations, you’ve moved into the Victimhood… You’re officially a dupe!

A salient example is the claim that ‘merka is systemically and endemically racist – it’s all about White supremacy. The 1619 rewrite of ‘merkan history attempted to reframe and support this assertion. None of the claims were substantiated, and much of the truth was fashioned to refute documented facts.

It neglected critical evidence that Africans started the process. In fact, it is still alive and well on that continent and in much of the world today. The first ‘merkan enslaver was Anthony Johnson, a black southern gentleman in 1654 who pioneered ‘merkan slavery.

One twist is our language and how we interpret the information versus what’s being said. The proper term for this is semantics – the study of meaning and linguistic development. You say one thing and mean something else or intentionally misdirect the listener – perspective comes into play here, but it’s more playing with the words.

It’s the denotation – the explicit definition and the connotation – how we interpret the word.

It’s what most people call splitting hairs, and I agree.

It is how lawyers and politicians make their living and stay out of jail. They rely heavily on the differentiation in denotation and connotation – the actual definition versus the accepted meaning or use of the word.

· Discuss: to consider or examine by argument, comment, etc.; talk over or write about, especially to explore solutions; debate.

· Overhear: to hear (speech or a speaker) without the speaker’s intention or knowledge.

· Listen in: to give attention with the ear; attend closely to hear; overhear.

· Communicate: to impart knowledge of; make known: to share information.

Here’s an example from the mainstream news.

It’s HERE

#46 insists, and has for years, that he never discussed Hunter’s business dealings; however, all indications are that #46 was present during many of Hunter’s conversations. The word business implies an exchange of work for payment or the production and sale of goods for profit.

The only commodity #46s’ crime family has of value is influence. Although #46 never discussed this business, he was aware of his son’s efforts and profited from them.

How does a career civil servant live a lavish lifestyle and amass a reported net worth exceeding $50 million? He overheard and was present for many meetings, but #46 asserts that he never discussed this business with his son, Hunter.

Do you see the weasel-wording here? It is typical political-speak; Orwell called it Newspeak in his dystopian novel 1984.

Remember Slick Willie Clinton and his defense that he never had sex with Monica Lewinski? She performed fellatio, but he didn’t consider it as having sex… pure equivocation or Newspeak…

Alejandro Mayorkas affirms that ‘merka’s’ border is secure within the guidelines provided by the Constitution. Section IV Article 4 says the federal government “shall protect each of [the states] against invasion.” But, since these are Geographically Disenfranchised (GD) immigrants, they are tacitly guests; they are NOT invaders because #46’s executive orders allow them access. Equivocation…

As far as Al’s concerned, he’s doing everything he can to ensure it is. He’s working with Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) to uphold the law as written, and Al’s job is to ensure they do. So… Al is making sure the border is secure. Al’s also following his boss’s, #46’s directions and executive orders to allow the GD immigrants unfettered access to ‘merka. CBP bags, tags, processes, and releases the GD immigrants as directed.

So… CBP is doing its job as well.

Can you appreciate the Newspeak here? It’s all perfectly legal, above board, and necessary for the good of the republic as rationalized using Machiavelli’s Gambit. You must realize who controls two of the three branches of our government. Since #46, actually the DemoSoc, owns two of the critical branches and has its tentacles grasping for the other, there’s little recourse for the citizenry. We’ve stuck both fists in the Tar Baby.

As Dalai Lama XIV said: Know the rules well, so you can break them effectively.”

Einstein agrees: “You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you can play it better than anyone else.”

Sure, I must tread lightly at times, but knowing Newspeak and its rules affords me some latitude. I didn’t write the rules; I’m supposed to follow them. But if they allow leeway, who’s the fool, the one that doesn’t learn them or the one that understands and uses them well?

The undisclosed costs of this quagmire and our dance on the landmine and with the Tar Baby are all-encompassing and summarized by the statement – “We’re not supposed to win!” Big Brother owns the casino, the cards, the croupier, and The Bank, and to stiffen this analogy, they make the rules, too.

When you buy into victimhood, your deal is with the devil and, in this case, Big Brother because it gives you everything and tells you, you need them to reassign blame and provide your plausible deniability. It wasn’t me… It was – enter excuse here.

Welfare is one of the schemes Big Brother uses to solidify and ensure your membership in the Victim Club.

As for crime, you’re convinced that you’ll never have what you believe you’re entitled to, have what the mainstream media mafia waves under your nose, or have the where-with-all to live that lavish lifestyle of the one percent, your only choice to obtain those things is crime. The more remote possibility is fame like the sports, movie, and music personalities. Nevertheless, someone is always standing in your way, or so you’re programmed to believe.

Big Brother helps here, too. Theft and brutality are approved – not openly – but by removing punishment from the equation. It’s legal to shoplift up to $1000 in merchandise in most DemoSoc-managed cities and states. Violence is also tacitly sanctioned, again by eliminating the punishments.

                          Machiavelli

Prosecutors in these DemoSoc states use every tactic available, including Machiavelli’s Gambit, to remove impediments to reaching the New World Order. They defunded the police, slammed through laws to criminalize the pursuit or interference with illegal activities, and rationalized this deplorable behavior with poverty excuses. They installed a revolving door in most halls of justice to hasten the “criminal catch and release” policies, mirroring those of the ‘merkan borders.

The price for this folly is our position as the world leader and the expenditure, waste, of trillions of dollars of tax revenues. The local communities and the ‘merkan citizens bear the costs. We watch as our communities are ravaged and raped by criminals who should be incarcerated but are enabled by the systems we pay to protect us. We receive lip service, promises that everything will be alright if we can just be patient, and oh, by the way, Big Brother needs a few trillion dollars more to make it all work. Don’t worry; we’ll print more money to cover this additional cost…

~ The Author ~
Charles R. Dickens was born in 1951, is a veteran of the Vietnam war, for which he volunteered, and the great-great grandson of the noted author, whose name he shares.

He is a fiercely proud American, who still believes this is the greatest country on the planet, with which we’ve lost control and certainly our direction. He grew up in moderate financial surrounding; we’re not rich by any stretch, but didn’t go hungry – his incredibly hard working father saw to that. As most from that era, he learned about life from his father, whose story would take too long to tell, other than to say that, he is also a fiercely proud American; a WWII and Korean war, veteran Marine.

Charlie was educated in the parochial system which, demanded that you actually learn something, and have capability to retain it before you advance. He attended several universities in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree, and chased the goose further to a master’s, and has retained some very definite ideas about education in this country.

In addition, Charlie is a retired blues guitar and vocalist – a musician. This was his therapy career. Nothing brings him as much joy as playing music, and he wishes that he could make a living at it… but alas… life goes on!
