Take this however you want, but I’ve had enough of these punk protesters who have gotten away with this shit for far too long.
This is the core group of instigators in the destruction of both the Durham memorial and the Silent Sam memorial. They are all members of IWW Raleigh-Durham aka Communist/ antifa!
I’m going to be blunt, America has gotten pretty damned ugly. While there might still be a certain amount of free speech left, that does not mean that we are capable of having open and honest debate at a national level. Facts don’t matter that much to people these days, only how they feel on the issues.
To most people freedom of speech means that their voice, their opinion matters, and anybody who opposes them should be silenced; even taking it one step further by harassing them and vandalizing images and monuments that have meaning to them.
Just look at what has happened in just a few short years; we have seen the rise of the AntiFa movement, as well as the rapid growth of this movement to tear down anything people believes represents the Confederacy; which to them equates to racism and white supremacy.
These people, and this is true of both the AntiFa and Tear-Em-Down movement, have grown up being taught that there are no consequences for both their actions and their ignorance and stupidity. They think they can just go around insulting people, harassing people, attacking people, and vandalizing and destroying public property they deem ‘offensive’ and that there will be no repercussions or consequences.
It does not help that law enforcement is often told to stand down so as not to provoke them, or make matters worse. All this does is it emboldens them; feeding their belief that they can continue to get away with this type behavior without any fear of retribution.
While city officials and law enforcement stand back and wring their hands and let these punks run free, the people who are victims of this hatred and vitriol are growing both angry and weary of our rights and beliefs being ignored to satisfy a bunch of young ignorant punks who are in dire need of a serious life lesson; that actions have consequences, and if you fuck around with the core beliefs of people they tend to get angry and will defend those beliefs with the requisite level of violence that they feel is justified.
In short, these spoiled brats, and those who let them have their tantrums, are pushing America to the brink of social unrest; chaos and fighting in the streets.
Maybe that is what they want; maybe they want all hell to break loose so they can call in the National Guard to restore order; and then it will be bye bye Bill of Rights.
But believe me, the parents of these young spoiled brats are going to be in mourning when the people whose rights and beliefs are being trampled upon finally rise up and start defending them. You see, they may carry banners and clubs, but when we finally have had enough, we’ll be carrying guns.
