Dickens: Oh Well… We The People

Merkans are deeply fascinated, spellbound by politics, to the point where their attention is completely absorbed and they are unable to think about anything else. It’s a state of intense interest or attraction, often accompanied by a sense of being entranced or captivated.

Why do we tolerate it?

The intro music answers it: America is Mesmerized:

– holding the attention of someone to the exclusion of all else – transfixed

– in a hypnotic or trancelike state; hypnotized

– having the attention completely absorbed; fascinated, captivated, or spellbound

The average person spends roughly 70 minutes daily consuming news and another 143 minutes on ‘not-so’ social media each day. That’s the hold the media has on our society.

I took my title from a document that should be at the forefront of every American citizen’s mind, but isn’t, and especially those in our government, in particular. We think we’ve heard it somewhere or may even know the origins, but can only recall the first few words. We have no understanding of the intent or the far-reaching consequences of the remainder of this document on our lives, not to mention its impact on the world. Yet we bandy it about as if we were constitutional experts. Our superficial awareness comes from what we’re told by those whose sole purpose is to deceive us.

Do you honestly think they’ll let us know the truth?

That “goddamned piece of paper” – again

The title is from the preamble of the United States Constitution. You know that thing that we’re told is in continual crisis from the treasonous actions of one person or another who’s hell-bent on destroying this republic by violating it with convenient interpretations of some obscure article or phrase, and represents an existential threat to the very soul of our republic.

Yeah, THAT document!

The Left takes expertly edited comments and strings them together to create hyperbolic, subversive accusations, crafting preposterous scandals with this contrived and suspect evidence.

It’s all a ploy to grab your attention and to instill fear, uncertainty, and doubt.

Are there any explanations of the problem, or are they intentionally misstated perceptions of reality? The word that comes to mind immediately is vague: not definitely established, determined, confirmed, or known; uncertain. Another word is much simpler, lies.

Ask: How does this accusation align with the evidence, if any exists? Or was the existing evidence created to support the allegation?

Why don’t we hear how the proposed decision or action violates the Constitution?

No catch phrases like ‘due process’ or ‘First Amendment Rights’ are allowed.

The US Constitution comprises 4,543 words, and it has 27 amendments. I’d like to know the specific violations. Please…

I only hear that it does. That’s just an opinion without supporting evidence.

The entirety of Congress – the opposite of progress – VIOLATES the Constitution.

That statement is my opinion, but is it invalid since I don’t link the transgression to a specific article in the Constitution?

However, I can provide evidence that substantiates my claim from their oath of office.

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

I contend that allowing 21 million illegal immigrants into this country violates this oath of office. Many of them were criminals, and as such, are foreign enemies, and entering this country without permission is a federal crime. The president of this republic at that time, one Joseph Biden, invited these foreign enemies to invade this country, thus becoming a domestic enemy himself. Further, he and his cabinet continually lied about the security of our southern border, who incidentally had also sworn the same oath of office. This makes the entire Biden administration culpable for violating the US Constitution and their oaths of office. Please refer to this LINK for constitutional details… 1911.8 USC 1325.

That’s my opinion and proof. Sadly, this would never hold up in court because I’m not a credentialed attorney, having never studied law. It isn’t sufficient that I can read and comprehend the language as written in the US Constitution. Lawyers dissect every syllable to find the meanings they want to uncover. I take it at face value as intended.

I’ve provided the background and substance of my allegation, as for the punishment… That’s for the courts to decide. Then there’s the Hunter Biden saga and the encyclopedia of lies about the President’s involvement and complicity in the money laundering and influence peddling schemes. All of which is well-documented, sworn to by eyewitnesses, yet has never been approached by the legal entities in this republic.

I seem to recall that a particular partisan political party fabricated evidence to condemn a presidential candidate and used this evidence to prosecute him perpetually. Could it be that the people running this government at the time were criminals themselves, guilty of the things they accused the candidate of doing? One could surmise this was an attempted Coup d’état.

– A coup d’état (‘stroke of state’), or simply a coup, is typically an illegal and overt attempt by a military organization or other government elites to unseat an incumbent leadership.

Why… That’s Treason!!!

No one is above the law… and that is Pure – BULLSHIT!

If this were true, there would be hundreds of people in court facing charges. I contend that not prosecuting these individuals is also a breach of the US Constitution and the oaths of office for most government officials, as it constitutes a failure to fulfill their constitutional duties.

Welcome to the Rabbit Hole.

No one is above the law… again I say – BULLSHIT!!!

AI tells me that: “It is generally illegal for a member of Congress to lie, particularly when under oath or in a situation where they are required to provide truthful information to Congress or other federal agencies. This is often addressed under federal laws like Section 1001 of Title 18 of the United States Code, which criminalizes knowingly and willfully making false statements in any matter within the jurisdiction of the federal government.” But… this never stops them from intentionally misleading the public, or each other.

– I wonder under which situation someone would be allowed or encouraged to lie?

– I left the links in this section for your reference…

Apparently, the best way to make crime pay is to be a lawyer or in Congress, the opposite of progress, or both.

Fun Fact: 30% of House Members and 51% of Senators have law degrees. And 96% have college educations, proving that they don’t teach common sense in college; in fact, they strip it away. Having both is, ostensibly, a license to lie.

Another Fun Fact: I’ve earned a Bachelor of Science and two Master of Arts degrees, and I consider myself a rational and principled Patriot in the truest sense. Education gave me the power and passion to learn and to discern the truth using facts as the foundation. It did not subvert or corrupt me. I am a registered Independent, politically, for that very reason.

All of these lies and hyperboles rationalize and excuse moral or legal ambiguity because: The Ends Justify the Means. (I manage to work this into all of my posts…) It’s a fundamental concept used by those who would overthrow this republic.

Interestingly, the US Constitution establishes the Supreme Court to make these interpretations on our behalf. They interpret the law; they do not make it.

Baboons – It is what they have become!

How lucky are we to have a Congress of Baboons acting as SCOTUS, and hundreds of media talking heads interpreting the US Constitution for us.

It exasperates me that they swore this oath: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic,” and find ways to evade it. My military brothers and sisters swore the same oath, and we are bound to honor it for life. Each time I read that phrase, I’m reminded that there are no time limits or caveats, either written or implied.

How can you swear an oath to protect something when you have no idea what it says or means, and with the full intent of following it only when it aligns with your purposes? Failure to honor the oath is considered perjury and dereliction of duty in many cases, and is punishable under the law.

No one is above the law: To which I reply bullshit – again!

Seriously!

I suggest that the US Congress, the opposite of progress, refamiliarize itself with the US Constitution, particularly the section that outlines the three branches of government and their respective roles, because what they pursue violates that concept altogether. Stop looking for loopholes and inconsistencies to exploit and spend time understanding the implicit ideas the founders proposed and ratified. That effort would pay enormous dividends for the republic, but probably thwart most of their careers.

This should incite all Merkan’s to question everything happening in Congress, the opposite of progress, and in government altogether. What else are they approving that they don’t understand? Maybe, most of it? And doesn’t passing legislation that they are not familiar with violate the intent of their jobs as representatives of the Merkan citizen? We hired them as subject-matter experts and administrators. Evidently, their main claim to fame is self-absorption and narcissism. Oh yes, the bill was too long to read. That’s why they have a personal staff. They’re too busy with congressional work… WTFO?

My favorite quote from Nancy Pelosi 15 years ago was: ”We need to pass the bill to find out what’s in it…” That bill was the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, a 906-page document written in collaboration with the insurance companies, outlining the industry’s approach to managed care. The costs to the taxpayers: $1.6 trillion. The most significant impact was on the poor and those with existing health care insurance.

A more recent example is the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, which spans over 1,817 pages. Only congressional staffers read the document to summarize it for their bosses, who passed it with little understanding of the impact of the $2 trillion price tag.

This is indicative of the people we hired to manage our republic.

Holy Sheep Shit!

The term “divide and conquer” in politics refers to a strategy where an entity gains and maintains political power by exploiting divisions within a group. This includes exploiting existing divisions within a political group by its political opponents and deliberately creating or strengthening such divisions. Understanding this strategy is crucial for resisting and countering it.

Does this sound even remotely familiar? It should if you’re conscious. But if you’re comatose or hypnotized by the Corporate Media Complex (CMC), it went right past you, as intended, after all, we’ve stopped educating children in the 1950s and began subverting and assimilating our young to Marxist ideology. Remember DIE – Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity? This is the synthesis of Marxism in three simple, ambiguous words.

There is your compelling example of the American Marxist Party – you know them as the Democrats. A radical faction has taken control, leading their 45.1 million members even closer to the Marxist ideal. They believe themselves to be above the law because of their elected titles. The media is full of examples of their antics.

Their loyal followers are mesmerized by their ability to bend the law to do their bidding with total impunity, spurring most of them to follow the leader.

They do as they please, say whatever they want, and no one dares to challenge or chastise them. They are truly above the law.

HEHEHEHEHEHEHE!

Hypnotize and mesmerize have a compelling and persuasive inference. It means ‘to influence, control, or direct completely, by personal charm, words, or dominion, or to frighten or startle so that movement is impossible.’

AI tells me that while hypnosis can induce a trance-like state, it’s not the same as sleep or losing consciousness, and you usually remember what happens during the session. You may experience tingling sensations, calmness, or a sense of detachment from your surroundings. The most common signs include a deep sense of relaxation and a slowing of your breathing.

Hypnosis relies on a person’s willingness to relax, focus, and accept suggestions.

Inducing hypnosis is very difficult, if not impossible, if someone actively resists, so it requires a willing participant. However, it cannot compel you to do something against your will or something you would not normally do. You still retain your free will. However, you are more susceptible to suggestions.

Why is this important… I’m highlighting our willingness to believe things and the process used to deceive us. They keep you divided by maintaining the fight, ensuring the campaign funds continue to roll in. The controversy keeps people interested and donating. The American Marxist Party had $2.06 billion at the beginning of the 2024 election cycle. They spent $2.02 billion on the elections. All of that money came from their donors and was spent to convince you, the voters, that Marxism is the best possible ideology for Merka.

What we see in the mainstream media today is nothing more than Performance Art and Distraction to keep the loyal Democrats engaged and donating.

The American Marxist Party creates a crisis, tells you who’s to blame (usually their opposition), and to fight off this constitutional crisis or to defeat the existential threat to the soul of the republic, they need your money – over $2 billion of it. You can bet that the 2026 midterm and 2028 presidential elections will surpass this number.

Control is the name of this game, and your money is their key to success.

Control of the US Congress, the opposite of progress, is crucial for passing or defeating key legislation. It is purely partisan politics at its very finest. I remind everyone reading or listening to this commentary that ‘We the People’ of this Republic are rarely a factor in their calculus.

We are the Means to their Ends.

We are the fuel for their political engine.

We provide the funding that lets them operate.

That’s All We Are.

They have us all hypnotized…

But we still have a choice to follow or resist.

Oh Well!

Unabashedly Fascinated…

~ The Author ~
Charles R. Dickens was born in 1951, is a veteran of the Vietnam war, for which he volunteered, and the great-great grandson of the noted author, whose name he shares.

He is a fiercely proud American, who still believes this is the greatest country on the planet, with which we’ve lost control and certainly our direction. He grew up in moderate financial surrounding; we’re not rich by any stretch, but didn’t go hungry – his incredibly hard working father saw to that. As most from that era, he learned about life from his father, whose story would take too long to tell, other than to say that, he is also a fiercely proud American; a WWII and Korean war, veteran Marine.

Charlie was educated in the parochial system which, demanded that you actually learn something, and have capability to retain it before you advance. He attended several universities in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree, and chased the goose further to a master’s, and has retained some very definite ideas about education in this country.

In addition, Charlie is a retired blues guitar and vocalist – a musician. This was his therapy career. Nothing brings him as much joy as playing music, and he wishes that he could make a living at it… but alas… life goes on!
