One thing you have to admit about the Illuminists, communists, and the One World Government crowd, they are patient as well as enduring. If they have an agenda in a specific area they will diligently work to promote that agenda even if they realize they will not see results in their lifetime. This is one thing we could learn from them. Too often patriotic and conservative people just toss in the towel if they don’t see results on any given project in the first 90 days.
Case in point, our educational system in this country. Those working to subvert it and turn our public (and some private) schools into leftist indoctrination centers have been engaged in this project at least since the 1830s. I doubt the leftists back then saw all the results of their efforts they hoped for, but whatever the results, they kept at the project–and in our day we live with the results of their efforts. And most of us don’t have a clue as to how it happened.
Arthur R. Thompson, in his book To the Victor Go the Myths and Monuments gives us some clues if we are willing to look. He observed that: “Public education as we know it today proliferated across the country after the (Civil) war, controlled increasingly by state government. Based on the infiltration already accomplished at the major universities and colleges by freethinkers, socialists, and the Order (the Order of Skull and Bones) before the Civil War, school teachers were educated to teach their charges socialist ideals, slowly at first in some areas, openly in others. With each succeeding generation teachers were ‘dumbed down’ due to their education as teachers in colleges dominated by the Order or socialists, so that their students learned less and less about how early Americans produced the United States Republic and specifically why. The concentration was in the colleges, since they produced the teachers that fanned out across the entire country. Once indoctrinated, it was hard for most to regain common sense, although many did and worked to bring sound education to their charges. However, it was a losing battle without a sound organization to counter the socialist-led education associations.”
The socialists had time to organize while mostly those who disagreed with them didn’t realize what was going on. Mr. Thompson continued: “Most teachers did not realize that they were producing the thinking processes among their charges for the acceptance of more radical ideas when preparatory students went on to college. It was not so much the facts being taught as it was the method of thinking that was being inculcated, with logic, constitutional law and Judeo-Christian philosophy gradually disappearing from the curricula. Teachers themselves became victims in this process, not realizing that the education colleges were molding change-agents rather than intellectual educators. Lincoln said it well regarding this strategy of using education as a tool for change: ‘The philosophy of the school room in one generation will be the philosophy of the government in the next.’ The modern school is the product of two centuries of work by the enemies of our system. At first it was coordinated on a national scale by the Conspiracy through a variety of means, higher education and publishing primarily, but local controls still existed which blocked a completely nationally controlled system.”
“We now have a national Department of Education” Mr. Thompson noted, “which has long been advocated by the communists and part of their platform. A ‘recent’ example is the book by William Z. Foster, Toward a Soviet America, published in 1932, wherein he called for the establishment of a federal Department of Education. Foster was the head of the Communist Party USA at the time.” He is a prime example of what I referred to at the beginning of this article. He did not live to see what he advocated, but the U.S. government approved it anyway.

Mr. Thompson had more to say about education in this country. I would urge those seriously concerned to check out his book at American Opinion Foundation Publishing, 750 N. Hickory Farm Lane, Appleton, Wisconsin 54914. And in the process, get your kids out of the public school system and use real discernment if you put them in a private school.
