August 14, 2010 ~ Nearly twenty months into the nightmare of the American journey toward socialism, several things hit me over the past several days, and amongst them – the question, “What does it mean to be a man?“
You pick the issue in this nation today, the national debt, the deficit, illegal immigration, unemployment, the Gulf Oil “spill”, the fact that the Cubs still haven’t won a World Series, the cost of Michelle’s trip to Spain, the trade imbalance, the backed up plumbing in the White House, the death of an adoptive sister, “Racism” in America, 9/11… and so much more.
Doesn’t matter – it’s ALL Bush’s fault.
O’Bummah seems to have spent most of his early years, being raised by women – his Momma (when she was around), and his Aunties and Grammas. He’s had sisters – both half, and adopted, and one half-brother that we know of. Now he has Michelle, and in between, he’s had the likes of Frank Marshall, and William Ayers. At what point in his life, did he ever get some “manning up”???
At what point do you stop blaming your predecessor for all that ails the nation – and begin to accept responsibility for all of your OWN broken promises to a hungry nation looking for change?
I have been on this planet for over six decades, and something you learn at an early point in life – is to admit your faults, but rather than dwell upon them – to work to improve upon them; don’t point fingers and blame at others – but stand up – and like a man – become the leader, which the suckers in this nation thought and believed that you were.
As to Bush, never had much use him myself, nor most of his predecessors in my lifetime – but damn, Boy – don’t you think it’s time you stand up and become a man?
As we used to say while camping, “Be a man – use your hand!” – and stop sticking it to the people of America. As a matter of fact, why don’t you just go home…
Without Apology I am,
