Addicted to incongruity.
– Incongruous: absurd, ludicrous, ridiculous, unsuitable, discordant, contradictory, contrary.

‘Modern Politigencia’
The inmates in the monkey house, Congress, the opposite of progress, live up to their elucidation. All they seem to do is monkey around, accomplish next to nothing, and cause problems for the republic. Their primary primate goal is self-aggrandizement and amusement. They’ve even taken to flinging poo just like their simian namesakes.
“Let’s consider a group of baboons. Baboons are the loudest, most dangerous, obnoxious, viciously aggressive, and least intelligent primates. And what is the proper collective noun for a group of baboons? Unbelievably, a congress! That pretty much explains the things that come out of Washington! You just can’t make this stuff up.” ~ Courtesy of the American Nurse Journal
– My patience with those masquerading as leaders and their partners in the Corrupt Corporate Media has reached my crap-cap; the limits of my endurance and that of my medications for media. I’ve reached my patience plateau, my capacity for boneheaded bureaucratic blunders and bullshit that passes for governance by this ill-advised self-serving horde of profoundly parsimonious partisan politicians.
The idiotic leaders in both of the prominent partisan political parties epitomize ‘cranial-rectal insertion;’ in other words – heads up their asses.
My military brothers and sisters will appreciate the phrase ‘up and locked.’ Think Fixed ~ as in ‘permanently in place.’
When you think they’ve reached the bottom of the barrel, they break out the picks & shovels and start digging. One party is addicted to incongruity, and the other proves ineffectual. The chaos around us is the culmination of their incessant duplicity; it’s hypocrisy at its peak, yet no one accepts any responsibility for their part. Some people applaud them for their foresight and vision, unaware that it is all chicanery, deception, and trickery. Calling this bureaucracy disingenuous and devious is too kind. They are dishonorable.
You are free to believe as you wish. I ask that you consider prominent examples, decisions by other societies that followed similar paths, such as Cuba, China, North Vietnam, North Korea, and Russia, to name a few. If this is your idea of utopia, I respectfully ask that you move there instead of destroying this country in this pursuit. Again, being an American, you are free to choose and move! At this point, you should have a clear understanding of my perspective. It is your choice to be here, and if you don’t like it. leave, but don’t force your opinion or perspective on those who love this republic.
Still, Merka is a democracy, and the lunatics may take over the asylum, and the patriots may be ousted. Where would we go? I hope the Loony Marxist Left is prepared for a protracted battle, because we will not go quietly or willingly.
It’s reprehensible but truly Marxist to accuse those who love this republic of appropriating the land of another culture when they step in to do precisely the same thing. Marxists infiltrate a society, spreading sedition, seeking to impose a toxic philosophy that instills hatred of everything that was, in favor of dogma that promises an unattainable utopian ethos, and is totally unsuccessful.
You are guilty of your recriminations.
You expect us to abandon 250 years of progress, the opposite of Congress, regressing to a failed two-level ideology of haves and have-nots, precisely your recrimination of America. You would replace capitalism, which provides opportunities, with socialism, which stifles it.
Convenient and subjective interpretations of the Evil Orange Man’s agenda abound. His ideas are discounted before they are understood, and the concepts are not even explained. Forget about thinking through the potential gains. The loyal opposition already knows they won’t like it, regardless. The idea may be mind-numbingly simple, but they hate it because the other side endorsed it.
It’s Too Simple! How could it possibly work if we didn’t think of it? Therefore, we must stand firmly against the enemy’s ideas. The other party’s choice is irrespective of the partisan political psychosis it exposes. If Trump said it, it must be bad.
How could anyone oppose a balanced national budget or eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse in government, yet a large contingent, the Left – 47%, embraces the idea of the $40 trillion national deficit that funnels tax dollars to select partisan constituents? Their idea of a budget is a tissue-paper promissory credit card with an infinite limit. This prejudice for progress, the opposite of Congress, exposes their goal of bankrupting our republic, then blaming it on Capitalism.
Why does the American Marxist Party – The Democrats – ignore the abject failures of Marxism everywhere it’s tried, insisting that it can’t happen here? It’s been around since the 19th century in one form or another, and fails even under authoritarian regimes – but it can’t happen here?
Marxist philosophy is criticized for its economic inefficiency, poor fiscal performance, and lower standards of living compared to capitalistic societies.
It is also found to be dogmatic, inflexible, and necessarily authoritarian.
How close is Merka to authoritarianism? In many respects, I think we’re already there.
There have been many names describing this mental malady in the past: insanity, lunacy, and madness. The term coined by modern observers is ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ (TDS). It has a nice and appropriate ring, aptly describing their obsession with, and contempt for, everything associated with #47. It incorporates the target in its name, without restriction. “Orange-Man Bad!”
That is my summary of Merkan politics. You’ll notice that nowhere in this assessment is anything about the benefit to the republic or its people. This is strictly partisan politics on a grand scale. “If you want it, we’ll fight against it!” It’s the very definition of insanity and one in which no one really wins. It unmasks that most people in Merka are followers, not free thinkers. It’s far easier to let someone else lead. Even deciding not to decide is a
decision.
Unfortunately, this malady spills over into the citizenry as we follow along in lockstep over the cliffs of reason and sanity. We’ve adopted the new normal:
perpetual partisan political repugnance, aversion, instinctive contrariness or opposition, and habitual dislike: basically, Merkan Politics.
Merka’s political posture today is all about division and contention, certainly not unity. The middle ground is a social media minefield, impossible to navigate without triggering partisan political pyrotechnics. I’m amazed by FUD’s invasion of everything Merkan. That’s where the ‘U’ for Uncertainty enters the fray. You avoid any partisan political conversations or interaction unless you’re willing to take sides.
Maybe you’ve noticed this too. I call it ‘Spring-loaded in the pissed off position.’ It doesn’t take much to trigger a full-blown assault or a favored backhanded comment or reaction that replaces our abandoned kindness with venom.
Illegal Immigration is a sterling example. Many Merkan’s don’t want illegals in our country, but an equal number favor allowing them due process under the Constitution. Letting people demand rights in our country after violating the law seems to walk us into the legal minefield of convenient interpretation and implication; another no-man’s land. There are many others the trip my trigger, and the last I’ll mention is ‘Birth-Right Citizenship.’ Originally part of a reparations package for American Slaves, now the impetus for ‘Birth Tourism’, a practice of traveling from another country to give birth here, conferring citizenship for the baby and all of the perks afforded to that right for its family.
Rabbit Hole Alert!!!!
The best description I can find is American Dysphoria.
American, we can agree on, but dysphoria is a bit confusing for most because of its association with gender, which is most prevalent. Dysphoria is: The state or feeling of dissatisfaction, anxiety, or restlessness.
Nearly everyone feels dysphoric about the present state of this republic; less than 24% are satisfied with our present conditions. We are unsure or uneasy about our future as citizens of the republic and the longevity of our nation on the world stage.
And who’s instigating this madness?
I’ve been searching for an explanation for this push toward outrage. I believe it all stems from where and how we receive our information. That is: knowledge communicated or received concerning a particular fact or circumstance – news.
I’ve spent considerable time and effort condemning the culprits, so I won’t belabor the point.
It’s the Corporate Media Complex. There’s a recent campaign to include the word corrupt in this descriptive name, but that seems redundant since their past fifty years in business, especially the last twenty-five, imply it by the way they’ve perfected their craft. It is the art of hypocrisy
– the pretense of having a virtuous character, moral or religious beliefs or principles, etc., that one does not possess: a pretense of having some desirable or publicly approved attitude.
Have you noticed that everything in the media is negative when they’re selling anything?
We must appreciate that every moment of corporate media broadcasting is selling.
Yes, every moment of every day!
That’s the media’s job. It’s what they do. They sell everything from aardvark polish to toenail fungus remedies to Zebra wax, political proposals, candidates, and Xenophobia. And yes, the news is a sales job with a trigger, something to arouse an emotion, usually negative. We’re resolutely convinced that whatever they say is true, and most of Merka buys it; whatever it is. Currently, 54% of Democrats, 27% of Republicans, and 12% of Independents trust the media. The remaining 7% don’t believe them. Look at those numbers. If the Democrats’ agenda and dogma are the media’s focus, why wouldn’t they believe it?
Remember FUD – Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt?
It’s the prime motivator in the New Normal. FUD allows the presenter, the seller, to manipulate and control you with how they present the messages. That’s the idea, the underlying message in these broadcasts. Ask the following question as you watch, read, or listen to the news presentations.
“What’s the message and motivation for this commercial, statement, or news piece?”
What motivation is this Corporate Media Company using?
– Fear: a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined; the feeling or condition of fear.
– Uncertainty: the state of being uncertain; doubt; hesitancy.
– Doubt: to be uncertain about; consider questionable or unlikely; hesitate to believe: distrust; regard with suspicion: apprehension.
– I’m asking you to stop accepting everything the media and government say or print, and ask. ‘Which FUD tools are they using?‘
Review the list above. The more familiar you become, the easier it is to spot. And, oh yes, they do combine them for an extra powerful pitch. Congress, the opposite of progress, The Band of Baboons, blends them frequently. Listen critically, you’ll hear this approach in all of their messaging scripts.
It’s not specifically a partisan political ploy but universal. It first appeared in the 1920s and was used in its current, technology-related meaning by Gene Amdahl in 1975, after leaving IBM to found Amdahl Corp. By the late 1980s, the term “FUD” became more widely used and was seen as a fashionable tactic, mainly for marketing, sales, and public relations.
Its use flourishes today in every facet of communications.
I recently heard this phrase from Congress, the opposite of progress.
Extreme Moderation – This is a head-scratcher, like jumbo shrimp; which is it?
– Extreme: reaching the highest degree; exceedingly great
– Moderation: restrained, calm, fair, patient, balanced
It’s called an oxymoron. Besides being a big, clumsy, stupid guy: Oxy – Moron, it refers to two contradictory or dissimilar words used together in a phrase, like those in the first line of this paragraph.
AI tells me, “Extreme moderation refers to intentionally seeking balance and moderation in all aspects of life, rather than just being a moderate person who agrees with both extremes on everything. It’s about consciously avoiding excess or deficiency in various areas of life, aiming for a middle ground between doing nothing and doing too much.”
Marxism?

Marxism? – OOPS – wrong ones…
Marxism analyzes how economic systems, particularly capitalism, influence social structures and human consciousness. It’s the theory about how societies are organized and change, with a focus on the conflict between the “haves” (the bourgeoisie, or owners) and the “have-nots” (the proletariat, or workers).
Wait a minute, doesn’t that describe moderation? Fair and Balanced?? So now we become extremists for what’s fair and balanced. Do we really need an innovative word to define moderation by adding a conditional modifier?
Can I be extremely OK?
I suppose the word moderate was extremely insufficient as opposed to extremely inadequate.
America’s marvelous managerial process, the US Constitution, was developed about 225 years ago by some of the greatest thinkers and leaders, who gathered to create the ultimate governmental guideline in a single document. It synthesized all the best administrative and legal concepts into a single document dedicated to a representative administrative format for this new republic. They knew it wasn’t perfect and that things would change as the republic grew, so they provided mechanisms for adjustments and changes to accommodate that growth.
Today, we live with the results of improper legal and extralegal changes that stretch the interpretation of the constitutional guidelines. We’re so accustomed to rationalizing and justifying these changes that we no longer have a sense of right and wrong. We erected a bureaucracy that exceeded its covenants and stipulations so that it could do what it wanted. The Constitution is now an impediment rather than a rule of law, freely and cleverly construed to favor the dominant partisan political party rather than the good of the collective as intended.
General George Washington, the first president of this country, warned in his farewell address about the perils of the two-party political system.
“However [political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion.” – George Washington (September 17th, 1796)
We are not Democrats, Independents, or Republicans.
Just think about it in simpler terms.
We are Americans!
So, Jesus called them over to him and began to speak to them in parables:
“Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall. If Satan is divided against himself, how can his kingdom stand? I say this because you claim that I drive out demons by Beelzebub. Now, if I drive out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your followers drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are safe. But when someone stronger attacks and overpowers him, he takes away the armor in which the man trusted and divides up his plunder.” ~ Matthew 12:25-29 & Mark 3:23-27 & Luke 11:17-22 (Summary above from the New International Version)
It must be an extremely essential message being in three of the Gospels. In fact, this message carries through the entire Bible.

Dickens is ANGRY!
Charles R. Dickens was born in 1951, is a veteran of the Vietnam war, for which he volunteered, and the great-great grandson of the noted author, whose name he shares.
He is a fiercely proud American, who still believes this is the greatest country on the planet, with which we’ve lost control and certainly our direction. He grew up in moderate financial surrounding; we’re not rich by any stretch, but didn’t go hungry – his incredibly hard working father saw to that. As most from that era, he learned about life from his father, whose story would take too long to tell, other than to say that, he is also a fiercely proud American; a WWII and Korean war, veteran Marine.
Charlie was educated in the parochial system which, demanded that you actually learn something, and have capability to retain it before you advance. He attended several universities in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree, and chased the goose further to a master’s, and has retained some very definite ideas about education in this country.
In addition, Charlie is a retired blues guitar and vocalist – a musician. This was his therapy career. Nothing brings him as much joy as playing music, and he wishes that he could make a living at it… but alas… life goes on!
This is One FINE article, Charles! Excellent!
This one paragraph of Yours is the perfect summation and explanation for the situation America now finds Herself trapped within, from a lack of action by everyday ordinary Americans:
“Today, we live with the results of improper legal and extralegal changes that stretch the interpretation of the constitutional guidelines. We’re so accustomed to rationalizing and justifying these changes that we no longer have a sense of right and wrong. We erected a bureaucracy that exceeded its covenants and stipulations so that it could do what it wanted. The Constitution is now an impediment rather than a rule of law, freely and cleverly construed to favor the dominant partisan political party rather than the good of the collective as intended.”
Thank You, My Friend! Keep Fighting the Good Fight!
