“The More Things Change, The More They Stay The Same.“ ~ Jean-Baptiste Alphonse Karr – French journalist & critic
It means that despite superficial changes, things’ underlying or fundamental aspects often remain constant. Turbulent changes do not affect reality on a deeper level other than to cement the status quo.
Did Alphonse Karr define the partisan political climate in the United States?
Consider the gilded turd analogy – you can dip a turd in gold, but it’s still a turd; it’s not a solid gold bar, what’s counts is just below the surface.
“Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly, and applying the wrong remedies.” ~ Julius Henry ‘Groucho’ Marx (1890 – 1977)
Isn’t this the major problem with politically biased decision-making, endemic in sectarian, partisan, and elitist political systems, and just ‘more of the same’ from our elected leadership and delegated bureaucrats?
No one doubts the need for leadership, nor should anyone question the requirement for knowledgeable stewardship for this republic. Unfortunately, the elected guardians of our country have led us down paths that no one could have imagined. Our moral compass seems frozen, pointing inward rather than outward, toward self rather than community.
Professional titles establish their assignments and may confirm capability but do not confer privilege. The US Constitution is clear on these assignments, their latitudes, and their purview, but like all rapacious civil servants, they push these limits, looking to increase their scope and sphere of influence. The US Constitution is actually specific about departmental functions and responsibilities, and incidentally, it does NOT require interpretation or explanation by a wannabe, self-proclaimed constitutional pundit, partisan politician, or even some power-mad hole-of-an-ass in black robes with their elitist attitude and presumed power that these functionaries assume comes with their situations.
I firmly believe this is the root of the problems we face today.
“Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men, even when they exercise influence rather than authority; still more so when you superadd the tendency of corruption that comes with authority.
“Authority that does not exist for liberty is not authority but force.”
“Despotic power is always accompanied by moral corruption.” ~ John Emerich Edward Dalberg Acton – Lord Acton (1834 – 1902)
~ Please reread these three quotes.
There is little doubt that these truisms exemplify partisan politics in American government, including the massive bureaucracy elected leaders have devised. Libraries are full of quotes admonishing us about power and its excesses, yet we do nothing with that wisdom. It’s as though we doubt the advice history provides and foolishly think we know better and can control the Genie once it’s out of the bottle.
The fight for congressional control continues at every level, from federal to community. The two-party system promotes these pitiful power plays to pack the House and Senate with their preferred delegates and judges. The goal is to control their voting bloc, thereby commanding the government. Nothing changes as you move from federal to Homeowner’s Associations (HOAs). It is all about power-more power.
“Authority that does not exist for liberty is not authority but force.” [Link]
Their ends justify the means.
Literature brims with stories and parables about unchecked power and authority, and the Bible, one of the oldest and best-known collections of wisdom, recounts cautionary tales on this subject. Yet we still reject them. Unfortunately, we pay the price each and every time, thinking we can control that demon with our intellectual prowess.
The present battle for administrative control transitions from sublime to ludicrous. The constitutional limits are well-defined, but unconstitutional decisions span this intentional separation. The appetite for more power bridged the constitutional separation of these departments, eradicating the safeguards. Will they cross the Rubicon?
We’re very close to that point of no return.
The American Marxist Party (AMP) spent billions of dollars to influence state contests to capture critical open congressional seats with the expressed intention of stopping President Trump.
How does this serve the 80 million citizens who voted for him?
Moreover, how does this serve the republic?
Don’t we still profess to have a federal government that allows us to elect our representatives? Many believe our Constitution is too restrictive, hindering their vision of progress. However, that was the idea behind the Constitution – it provided safeguards to prevent corruption within the government. But where there’s a will, there’s a way.
It’s painfully evident that the focus is not on the country but the party. AMP will devastate this country to further Marxism, but that’s how it’s done. It must destroy the host to make room for its perversion. AMP is suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS), and they will dismantle America. They oppose everything he proposes regardless of its value to the republic.
AMP ostensibly possesses more knowledge than us mere mortals, owing to their elected positions and the omniscience those offices afford. This doesn’t approach the judicial and other bureaucratic posts its minions occupy. This should provide a clue as to why the government bureaucracy is so massive and pervasive. They have us surrounded 2 to 1: 67% are AMP appointees.
Suppose members of Congress, the opposite of progress, disagree with you. In that case, they call for your take-down or make hateful and vile indictments, even fabricate absurd allegations and recriminations, manufacturing evidence to further their political aspirations. AMP will even release the hounds of lawfare if their suspicions warrant. The only goal is partisan dominance – their ends justify their means. They intend to dismantle the republic and rebuild it in their image. It’s not about the republic but rather one of its constituent parts.
Therein lies the enigma inherent in the two-party concept: One party perpetually vying for supremacy over the other neglects the idea of a representative republic. They’ve lost sight of the original concept.
The classical definition of dismantle:
– is to tear down or reduce in power, but the colloquial meaning is to arrest, physically bring down, and force removal.
Isn’t this a threat?
– Threat: a declaration of an intention or determination to inflict punishment, injury, etc., in retaliation for, or conditionally upon, some action or course: a sign or warning of probable trouble or of being at risk for something terrible:
I cannot possibly interpret Marxist Representative Crockett’s intent in her calls to action, but given her age and political demeanor, I can infer that she intends harm, and if I assume this from her ‘calls to action’, imagine how some lefty-looney tune, spring-loaded to commit violence, takes it. Now, she urges her followers to ‘beat Senator Ted Cruz over the head.’ A pattern appears to be developing, me-thinks.
Some Congressional leaders espouse and encourage violent opposition. They’re losing assassins on their detractors and opponents – you know. the people they criticize. Constant inferences to Nazi and Oligarchy only fuel the fires they light to appropriate power – the coup d’etat.
Their shield is the First Amendment, which guarantees freedom of speech and the press. Neither of these allows hate speech or inciting violence, but they continually use it to justify the means to their ends.
Senators Bernie Sanders, Chuck Schumer, and others of their species regularly advocate and support actions against those they oppose. This is the primary weapon of the Leftists: they are the new American Marxist Party (AMP) – an uber-liberal splinter group of the Democrats.
Where is the Democratic leadership in all of this?
Perhaps they align with this new, ultra-left-wing progressive movement they’ve cultivated for decades. It’s the result of pouring gasoline on smoldering embers of partisan animosity.
Are those who foment domestic terrorism ready to assume and accept responsibility as the catalyst for loosing their odious disciples?
Is our judiciary ready to hold these instigators and insurrectionists accountable?
AMP had no issue creating a kangaroo court to persecute the January 6th protestors. It was a Hollywood-produced spectacle, with the AMP as judge and jury, consuming hours of airtime gleefully broadcast by the Corporate Media Complex affiliates to a captive audience of AMP acolytes. The world watched as AMP sold insurrection in Congress, the opposite of progress. This was the truest test of their power, a power they would hone to a razor’s edge. We termed it lawfare, but the actual term is treason.
I was about to insert a comment about intellectual capacity and IQ regarding those who answer – meet these incitements, but that’s not an accurate indication of mental acuity; ‘an IQ is an intelligence test score that is obtained by dividing mental age, which reflects the age-graded level of performance as derived from population norms, by chronological age and multiplying by 100: a score of 100 thus indicates a performance at exactly the normal level for that age group.’ It’s basically – Bullshit. FYI – IQs between 90 and 109 are considered normal; the average in Merka is 100.
IQ has nothing to do with it; it’s all about programming, i.e., indoctrination. Many of the smartest people I’ve met have little formal education, and most of those acclaimed to be absolutely brilliant couldn’t pour piss out of a boot if the directions were written on the heel. Incidentally, these are the individuals who run this republic and are the ones attempting to blacken the integrity of their political opponents for partisan political advantage.
Remember this when you hear someone say, “That person has a room-temperature IQ”. It does not address an AMP acolyte’s predisposition toward hateful violence: psychopaths and sociopaths. These are the apostles of AMP.
Keep in mind that AMP’s idea is to divide and conquer America and make it a Marxist sanctuary.
Education is critical to human mental development. I’m disgusted by what we’ve allowed to happen in education, but I recognize that it’s all part of AMP’s master plan.
It changed slowly but drastically while we weren’t paying attention.
I use the word republic often. Republic: a state in which the supreme power rests in the body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by representatives chosen directly or indirectly by them: any body of persons viewed as a commonwealth: a state in which the head of government is not a monarch or other hereditary head of state.
These next six months will decide our viability as a republic. This is what I mean with my comment about crossing the Rubicon. Once we’re on that other shore, there is no bridge back to what used to be. We are at the threshold of radical change – in more ways than just political. Social and economic upheaval are imminent. We only see the surface of these looming revisions; imagine the consequences of what we don’t see and what’s hidden from our view.
Isn’t this a republic of the people, by the people, and for the people?
Our Republic is run by permanently appointed judges who answer only to themselves and their ideologies. When you appreciate who appointed them and that person’s political philosophy, you’ll understand the basis for the continued attacks on their opposition. It’s liberalism – Marxism in every instance. Even the conservative judges feel pressure from the Left.
AMP appointed judges to block right-wing conservative administrative efforts. They have no Constitutional basis, but their reading – convenient personal political interpretation of it allows them to impede Executive actions and decisions to support their fantasy of control. The only rationale for these decisions is their Marxist dogma and its inherent bigotry. Congress, the opposite of progress, is the only department that can stop this Constitutional Crisis.
There are 679 district court judges: 384 appointed by the AMP and 257 appointed by their opposition. This ratio explains the current state of affairs in this republic. It is never about the people; it is always about control. These partisan political posts are for life – i.e., there are no term limits, and impeachment is the only way to replace a federal judge. Since this requires actions by both houses of Congress, the opposite of progress, it is doubtful given the present partisan political climate, the inordinate amount of time needed, and the legal and parliamentary shenanigans available to hamper progress – yes. Congress.
This axiom should be indelibly etched into the memories of every citizen and should be as familiar as the sun and moon: “The End Justifies the Means.” I used this phrase ad nauseam to explain that when an administration wants something, it will make it happen, rationalize, and justify its actions as “for the greater good.”
I’ll add my editorial comment here. It’s Bullshit!
They want power and will do anything necessary to seize it-to any degree, to any extent, in any way.
This excuses even the most heinous and controversial decisions.
Think of it as a ‘Get out of jail free’ card, or I can do whatever I want as long as I say it’s for the good of the republic. (Enter Name Here)
– Is an existential threat.
– Is a threat to democracy.
– Is a threat to our way of life.
– Is a Nazi. Communist. Socialist. Billionaire. etcetera, ad infinitum. ad nauseum.
Nothing is forbidden, and any questions of propriety or legality are deflected. Especially now that there are 384 AMP judges available to stymie their adversaries. Remember their political affiliations – the judge interprets and applies the law accordingly.
Here’s the situation as it stands today.
“Might makes Right!”
This aphorism means that those in power dictate moral standards and that strength justifies actions, even if they are morally wrong. Never forget that ‘The Ends Justify the Means.’
Look at what’s happening in America right now, and tell me I’m wrong.
I’m in no hurry – take your time.
Those in power act with impunity; they have always done so. That’s why the quest for power is so alluring and such a captivating drug. I seriously doubt that anyone will be brought to account for inciting these acts of domestic terrorism, and if they are, the cases will be tied up by legal legerdemain and magisterial mumbo-jumbo for the rest of eternity.
The US Constitution authorizes #47 and every US President to take every step #47 and previous presidents have taken so far, but these 384 AMP judges use their discretionary powers to hinder his efforts.
In concert with the Corporate Media Complex, AMP can make any accusation or suggest any action to exercise its authority; when taken by an opponent, it becomes a ‘constitutional crisis’, an ‘existential threat’, or a ‘threat to democracy itself’.
Since the media pushes this narrative, it’s what people believe.
Merkan Edukashun, through the Indoctrination Camps, ensures that we have sufficient learnin’ to navigate the Internet, stream entertainment, order door-dash, and run up credit card debt, but not bright enough to avoid it. We are intentionally kept ignorant and functionally illiterate to prevent critical thinking and avoid understanding our role as citizens of this republic and current events.
Consider the effort that AMP invests in its campaign to control our republic. Think about what DOGE, ‘Discovering Outrageous Government Excess,’ does by threatening the existence of AMP’s shadow regime. Every dollar funneled through these counterfeit departments and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) funds these clandestine efforts to overthrow this representative republic and replace it with their New World Order. This is nothing more than a colossal money laundering scheme. And DOGE is pulling back the curtain.
Remember The New World Order from several years ago? You don’t hear much about it anymore. The name has changed, but the intention remains the same. Control of individual societies is insufficient and inadequate for these megalomaniacs; they want the whole world at their feet. This would be a true oligarchy where the wealthiest people in the world would have us all working for them. Think feudal Europe in the 15th century. That’s what they want.
It all harkens back to the UN’s goal to reform the world into one massive Marxist collective where every facet of life is closely controlled for “the betterment or humanity”, and the end justifies the means.
This is all part of the Marxist plot DOGE is exposing. That’s why AMP’s resistance is so resolute. AMP cannot allow DOGE to uncover their treachery or their ultimate goal.
This is insurrection!
– an act or instance of rising in revolt, rebellion, or resistance against civil authority or an established government.
What else can you call it?
I’ll return to Lord Acton’s quote…
“Authority that does not exist for liberty is not authority but force.”
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
For the Amalgamated Heavy
Unabashedly….

~ The Author ~
Charles R. Dickens was born in 1951, is a veteran of the Vietnam war, for which he volunteered, and the great-great grandson of the noted author, whose name he shares.
He is a fiercely proud American, who still believes this is the greatest country on the planet, with which we’ve lost control and certainly our direction. He grew up in moderate financial surrounding; we’re not rich by any stretch, but didn’t go hungry – his incredibly hard working father saw to that. As most from that era, he learned about life from his father, whose story would take too long to tell, other than to say that, he is also a fiercely proud American; a WWII and Korean war, veteran Marine.
Charlie was educated in the parochial system which, demanded that you actually learn something, and have capability to retain it before you advance. He attended several universities in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree, and chased the goose further to a master’s, and has retained some very definite ideas about education in this country.
In addition, Charlie is a retired blues guitar and vocalist – a musician. This was his therapy career. Nothing brings him as much joy as playing music, and he wishes that he could make a living at it… but alas… life goes on!
