Smith: Ol’ Guy Wisdom On Toxic Masculinity

I’ve never felt more alive than when racing down a raging river on a raft, driving 140 mph down a winding road, jumping off bridges and cliffs into the waters below, swimming in the ocean, climbing a mountain, breaking my hand on some fool’s head, running down a wooded path with Sweet Mutt, watching a new sunrise or watching the sunset with a beautiful woman sitting by my side… And yes – I’ve done all these things and more.

If any of this is considered “toxic masculinity”, I choose it every time over whatever this misguided, misshapen cheap imitation is, that parades itself through our society, appearing weak and effeminate and incapable of much of anything other than being a dead weight on the whole of society.

As a side note, for You young men out there, if you think you’re going to have to knock some sense into another man or defend yourself against him, try to be sure you either have an axe handle or a cue ball in your hand, so as not to break it… words of wisdom to live by, from the Ol’ Guy! Gotta love that toxic masculinity.

I call it just living like a free born man who lives as he sees fit, and damn whatever the government nannies or anyone else thinks or has to say about it.
