This commentary continues a theme I started in July, where I spin the titles and stories of Charles Dickens toward more contemporary circumstances. The second episode in the series was “Oliver’s Twist,” or “The Parish Boy’s Progress,” set in London’s seedy underworld; it is a story of poverty, corruption, and Oliver’s eventual reclamation. My observations correlate current political actors to the characters therein.

In his novel “Oliver Twist,” Dickens introduced several memorable actors and personalities that remind us of people we know and recognize in contemporary events. Among the significant supporting characters in this story is The Artful Dodger. This title exercises my literary license with that title, adapting it to fit my intentions.

I’m calling this piece “The Artful Codger.”

Here are my cast parallels for those familiar with the story and those unfamiliar with the story; more’s the pity.

· Fagin – the criminal mastermind = The Democrat-Socialist (DemoSocs)

· Bill Sikes – Fagin’s enforcer = The DoJ

· Gang of Child Thieves = Congress

· The Artful Codger – Fagin’s lackey = Joe Biden

· Bull’s-Eye – Bill Sikes’ loyal dog = Corporate Media

· Oliver – Clueless, gaslit, naive = America Sheeple

The Artful Dodger is the epithet of Jack Dawkins, a fictional character in Charles Dickens’s novel Oliver Twist (1837–1839). The Artful Dodger is a precocious streetwise boy who introduces the protagonist, Oliver, to the thief Fagin and his gang of children, who work as thieves and pickpockets.

A codger is an elderly man, incredibly old-fashioned or eccentric; “old codgers always harp on about yesteryear and reminisce about their past.”

A curmudgeon is an ill-tempered person with stubborn ideas or opinions; a bad-tempered, difficult, cantankerous person.

Since no one has ever heard of The Artful Curmudgeon, I’ll use ‘Codger‘ – it’s more lyrical and associates easily with this piece.

Yes, folks, I refer to one Joseph Robinette Biden Jr., the 46th president of our republic and America’s Post Turtle.

The story of the Post-Turtle
An old rancher caught his hand in a gate to the point of needing sutures. While his doctor was stitching him up, their conversation came around to politics when the doctor asked the old man what he thought of the current President.

The rancher said he thought the President was no more than a “Post Turtle.”

He further explained, “When you’re driving down an old country road, and you come up upon a turtle balanced on a fence post, THAT’s a post turtle.”

“Noting the curious look on the doctor’s face, he realized that the doctor still did not understand, so he continued, “You know he didn’t have the ability to get there himself, he has no idea how he got there or what he’s doing, he has no natural ability to accomplish anything from there, and you can’t help but wonder what idiot put him there.”

“You can only pity him, for the injuries he’ll receive when he falls from that post.”

Does this sound vaguely familiar?

There are a few essential points regarding this politician and his illustrious career. Biden has not made a correct decision during his entire 50-year political career: NOT ONE! AND his ex-boss, #44, warned of his Vice President’s incompetence… “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to fuck things up.”

This last comment is crucial in the republic’s demise and America’s steady procession to Oblivion. Every decision “China Joey” has made since his ascendance to the position of “Post-Turtle in Charge or PT-in-C” ensures the destruction of the American way of life by steering us toward the exit to perdition on this “Expressway to Extinction.”

We’re traveling at breakneck speed toward a cliff, and no one in the current administration has the intestinal fortitude (balls) to yell STOP! It’s as though this disaster is scripted, and the actors are just following along, reading their lines and too intimidated to improvise or stray from the script.

There are many possibilities here, but my top theories are:

· Destroying our republic is intentional, and China Joey is a willing participant – a very well-paid puppet.

· The Cabal plays to his narcissism. It is so complete that he really doesn’t care. It is all about him and his legacy: good, bad, or indifferent.

· There was a saying from the early days of Hollywood, “There is no bad publicity.” China Joey is a HUGE proponent of this sentiment… He loves the limelight.

· China Joey is too stupid to know any better; after fifty years of ineffective public service, he’s convinced he’s doing a great job.

In a few of my past posts, I reference what we see today as a well-scripted plot to dismantle America, rendering it ineffectual and emasculated on the world stage. The DemoSocs regime has weaponized two of the three branches of the government and has its tentacles grasping for the third.

The dismantling of everything America represents is a thoroughly considered and elegantly crafted coup d’état involving the Military-Industrial Congressional Complex and the bi-coastal elites actually running this country. It is a major power play.

The DemoSocs control the Department of Education, indoctrinating our children with specious ideologies and pseudo-sciences, lauding equity over equality, and teaching that hard work and effort are racist unless they are DemoSocs.

They teach that ethnicity should be the deciding factor in all decisions. That value-based decision processes are functions of white supremacy, and that this republic is the cause of slavery. Anything the DemoSocs disagree with is… RACIST!

The whites invented racism to subjugate people of color, using them for their twisted colonialist purposes, coopting the wealth and knowledge of those they oppress.

They claim that White men raided Africa, enslaving everyone in sight and forcing them into horrific slave conditions in this new country.

Being white is reprehensible, and being a person of color makes you a victim.

Only a few years ago, being called racist was the worst possible insult. Now, it’s just another word; in fact, not being called racist means that you’re not reaching the right people.

As for me…

I don’t care; I know who I am and am at peace with it.

This Artful Codger marches along in lock-step with the Marxists bent on their Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity (DIE) policy – taking money from the lower three-fourths of America. This misappropriation hands it to the Wall Street Elites, their Bicoastal Masters, the Military-Industrial Congressional Complex, the Apparatchics, and Oligarchs.

The redistribution of wealth is virtue signaling, like all the other programs the DemoSocs sponsor following Marxist doctrines, bolstering the nanny state, targeting and ensnaring specific segments of the American population. The Artful Codger slips, slides, and oils his way through the political landscape untouched and above reproach.

A few attempted handshakes with invisible dignitaries and some well-placed mumbling, bumbling, and stumbling keep America convinced he’s not quite all there.

He is a Crafty and Artful Codger, precisely what’s required to front the DemoSoc regime’s coup d’état in Merka.

These actions are intentional and treasonous. What else would you call someone intent on destroying what remains of our republic to fit the New World Order and this Marxist plan?

Examining their philosophy shows that ‘DIE‘ is integral to their ‘divide and conquer’ tactics. It is imperative to have a predominant issue separating the republic; in our case, the more, the merrier. The Merkan sheeple have enemies to rally against. Unfair treatment, inequity, inequality, and racism are imbalances artificially created to start and maintain this division. America suffers from these at every level – or that’s what we are told. In truth, these are lies to destabilize the country.

This Artful Codger has half the republic believing he’s democracies’ salvation by telling them that the other half of the republic are Nazi Terrorists.

Do you remember Biden’s September 1st, 2022 speech? (I am sure that Biden doesn’t remember it! ~ Editor)

Jonathan Turley wrote: “The optics of Biden’s speech instantly became a source of Internet chatter with the weird red background that made the President look like he was giving a stump speech from Dante’s Inferno.

He vilified half the country as Ultra MAGA Extremists, blaming Trump for the January 6th Insurrection on Trump’s Extremists.”

What followed was a Hollywood show trial written and produced by CBS where Pelosi and the DemoSoc Congress shredded the Constitution and selectively persecuted and prosecuted unwitting victims from carefully screened security and media recordings. Fact was abandoned, and guilt was assigned after the event was labeled as an insurrection by Congress – the opposite of progress.

There is an interesting cognitive effect described by Dunning & Kruger: “A person’s lack of knowledge and skills in a certain area causes them to overestimate their own competence. By contrast, this effect also causes those who excel in a given area to think the task is simple for everyone and underestimate their relative abilities as well.”

In simple terms, people don’t know how stupid they really are. They are so convinced of their superiority that they fail to recognize their limitations: arrogance. We are being controlled by those behind this Artful Codger, much like Fagin’s gang of thieves.

China Joey – The Artful Codger – is only the face of the Cabal. He’s smart enough to be valuable and stupid enough to create tense moments.

Let’s consider his Coitus Interruptus – the Iraquistan withdrawal, his most abysmal screwup. Yet, the executive orders opening Merka’s borders to the world might top the Iraquistan blunder.

The Iraquistan debacle only cost Merka $10B in equipment, 13 additional lives sacrificed needlessly because the person in command would not allow a sniper to “take the shot,” an untold number abandoned in a hostile country, and thousands of loyalists left to those they betrayed – Isis. The executive orders opening Merka’s borders flooded the country with an estimated 17 million illegal aliens. All are non-vetted; only a few are identified as enemy combatants or terrorists. And… this doesn’t include the unknown number of “got-aways.”

Every city in Merka is a border town. Every city is forced to support these “Guests of the Post Turtle in Chief.” Schools cannot cope with the onslaught of non-English speaking students – but must scramble to accommodate this. Hospitals and Emergency centers are inundated with non-paying patients. And lest we forget – every child born in Merka is an automatic citizen.

This brings us to the impact of China Joey’s kowtow to the CCP and his bargain with Iraquistan when he traded $6 billion and 5 Iraquisatani hostages for 5 Merkans, was the fait accompli – an irreversible action, opening one of the final Seels restraining man’s evil genocidal and racist tendencies.

China Joey opened the door for Iraquistan to reap $40B in oil revenue by dropping sanctions that controlled their terrorist activities. Without money, the terrorist could only plan their next attack. With this $40B and the continued revenue of oil sales to China and the rest of the world, Iraquistan is funding this Jihad against Israel. We – America – are complicit!

Let that sink in…

We allowed these evil terrorists to invade a peaceful country to work their heinous plan: exterminating an entire race of people.

We are aiding Hamas, a terrorist organization from Iraquistan, to finish what Hitler could not do 90 years ago.

The Artful Codger totters to the podium to mumble, stumble, and bumble through prepared speeches to obfuscate and plausibly deny our complicity in this atrocious attack on our closest ally.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Congress – the opposite of progress, argues about leadership in the fractured house of misrepresentatives. The senate lowers its dress code to accommodate Uncle Festerman’s hoodie and sport shorts affinity. The Department of Injustice is still delaying indictments against China Joey’s crack-head son to allow the statute of limitations on his crimes to lapse. Kackling Kamala Harris – the VP in absentia, wonders where her approval is subterranean.

Only a career politician like the Artful Codger could advocate a coup d’état of this magnitude and seem blissfully ignorant.

Is China Joey really this stupid, or is he that good at his craft?

Charles R. Dickens was born in 1951, is a veteran of the Vietnam war, for which he volunteered, and the great-great grandson of the noted author, whose name he shares.

He is a fiercely proud American, who still believes this is the greatest country on the planet, with which we’ve lost control and certainly our direction. He grew up in moderate financial surrounding; we’re not rich by any stretch, but didn’t go hungry – his incredibly hard working father saw to that. As most from that era, he learned about life from his father, whose story would take too long to tell, other than to say that, he is also a fiercely proud American; a WWII and Korean war, veteran Marine.

Charlie was educated in the parochial system which, demanded that you actually learn something, and have capability to retain it before you advance. He attended several universities in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree, and chased the goose further to a master’s, and has retained some very definite ideas about education in this country.

In addition, Charlie is a retired blues guitar and vocalist – a musician. This was his therapy career. Nothing brings him as much joy as playing music, and he wishes that he could make a living at it… but alas… life goes on!
