Miss-Education

Another play on words?

Yes, Virginia, there is miss-education.

There was no contest, no interview, and no talent show. Like all the tiny Gen y and z larvae, Miss Education won the trophy for just showing up.

Confused?

So are our children.

Let’s begin with disclosure.

You should all know by now that I am a married man and am best defined as an Objectivist-Libertarian; my religious learnings are mine but decidedly conservative. I find unusual sexual proclivities like homosexuality personally objectionable. While I don’t care about what happens between consenting partners, I am vehemently opposed to exposing any non-adult to what I consider deviant tendencies.

Adulthood is legally defined as passing the age of eighteen. However, I caveat this: the person must be a sentient, rational, and perceptive humanoid.

Exposing anyone under eighteen to these queer inclinations should be considered a violation of our sex laws, especially when done by non-parental guardians like teachers and sexual predators. Any teacher exposing a child to sexual material should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and banned from further contact with children, i.e., all non-adults.

What parents choose to teach their children is their choice and wholly their responsibility.

I do not judge people; I believe that’s God’s job, but I have the responsibility to speak out against inequities and damaging breaches of morals (mores) and norms.

“Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.” ~ Mark Twain

Some braggadocio.

Although I have taught college-level technical electronics, I am NOT a teacher. I’ve earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering and two master’s degrees in management. I am no more intelligent than anyone, just doggedly curious. I enjoy learning, which led to accumulating the required courses and credits. I am an autodidactic polymath and little more than an opinionated septuagenarian.

The rest of this story I reserve for another day.

In point of fact, I’ve known primary school dropouts with more intelligence and sense than most of our country’s leadership. Education should teach you how to learn, not tell you what to memorize or think, and certainly not shape or define your ideology. Anyone can remember; unfortunately, few graduates can comprehend or even practice what they’ve learned. But, they are well-versed in the socialist manifesto from practical indoctrination.

It isn’t what you know; it’s what you do with it.

Although I’ve completed more than twenty years of schooling, much of it at the university of hard knocks, I am the least qualified person you’ll even know to address education. However, I consider my experiential background and having children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren in the public indoctrination systems my license to comment.

What I hear from them is decidedly disconcerting. Considering the noise and nonsense from the partisan political press, lamestream media, and the example of thousands of college graduates, I have formed some pretty strong opinions.

It only takes a moment to scan the events of the past twenty-two year to recognize that our reliance on education as the salvation of our society is patently misconstrued and misguided.

Has our society advanced at all since the turn of the century?

Well?

We know more about ourselves and our planet than ever before in history, yet we are as socially and morally backward as in the Dark Ages. The twenty-first century was to be our renaissance. Instead, it was a collapse. Cro-Magnons were more socially and morally advanced 48,000 years ago. We’ve accumulated vast amounts of information but learned nothing – applied nothing – gained nothing but debt, misery, and trepidation.

I ask again, has our society advanced at all since the turn of the century?

We put our trust and faith in JuJu, witchcraft, and pseudoscience. The alchemists and wizards are back in the guise of overeducated and multi credentialled experts with doom and gloom prophecy unless we buy their snake oil and drink their Kool-Aid.

We believe their alphabetic acronym soup of credentials validates intelligence. It’s merely a testament to their persistence and the accumulation of massive student-loan debt. It has nothing whatever to do with the ability to benefit from or employ any dogma.

In 2007, then-Vice President Al Gore addressed Congress predicting global catastrophes and calamities from Global Warming. We’re still here fifteen years later. None of the pseudoscientific predictions came to pass.

Not One.

And… nothing has changed!

We’re steadfastly enraptured by Al’s message. So much so that we kowtow to no less than SIX United Nations Councils on Climatic Change, and we’ll spend $44.9 billion this year preventing an environmental waterloo that will never occur.

Where does all that money go?

Hasn’t anyone read the science refuting these outlandish grabs for power? Obviously, the lemmings of the world are willing to follow this Charlatan of Climate Change over the cliff.

Al Gore consumes in one year what the average family consumes in twenty-one years.

Please define ‘leadership by example.’

Now examine the leadership of America over the past twenty-two years.

Name the leaders who practice the precepts and moral codes they espouse – are they constitutional?

I’ll give you a few moments to consider your response.

Our view of education is that of salvation. As though God himself imbues diploma recipients with omnipotence and omniscience – incapable of error, yet in truth, it is nothing more than an attendance trophy and a certificate of socialist indoctrination in and barter for prosperity.

Have you ever heard of the rule of twenty-seven?

I’ll tell you something, and if you believe me –
You tell three people –
Who tell three people –
Who tell three more people –
Twenty-seven people now know what I told you.

That’s the rule of twenty-seven.

The rule of twenty-seven apples exponentially to indoctrination and spread of ideologies, especially those with alluring messages like socialism’s seductive promise of equity without effort.

According to the US Census Bureau, over 50.8 million compliant minds will be enrolled in American post-secondary education in 2022. 15.7 million will be enrolled in the primary grades. That’s 66.5 million non-adult targets for socialism’s persuasive perfidious propaganda.

Imagine how quickly socialism will spread when these unsuspecting keen young minds are exposed to this indoctrination. One need only look at our present socio-economic state and our 11.4% inflation to appreciate the impact of our ambivalence, neglect, and tacit approval.

Socialism despises the free-thinking individual, family, and community. For them, the essential aspect is your identity group – your skin color and your sexual preference, and your exclusion from the norm. These factors determine who you are. It’s how the left segregates, separates, classifies, and imbues their doctrine into our society.

Herbert Marcuse (bio) is considered the patriarch of collegiate socialism and what he termed “The Great Refusal..” His approach to enlisting already radical 1960s college students to socialism was brilliant. The environment on the PRC (Peoples Republic of California) campuses were fertile and fallow fields for his purposes – the perfect seedbed for socialism.

Ever heard this phrase before?

“If you want a good career, you need to go to college, and the best jobs go to graduates from the best colleges.”

Congratulations, comrades, you may go forth and unwittingly infect others with socialism.

Most of Mancuses’ acolytes have no clue they are furthering his socialist cause to destroy America.

QED: “Humans are born ignorant, not stupid. They are made stupid by education. ~ Bertrand Russell

The missing component for these pre-radicalized students was a common radical ideology to unify their discontent. Marcuse introduced them to socialism. We’re living the results of Marcuse’s unimaginable success.

These 1960s radicals are now the owners and leaders of major corporations throughout our country, from the tech sector to big pharma to government to education. Marcuse’s acolytes are now in control of our lives and resolved to further the cause. Their objective: destroy America, Capitalism, and the free-thinking world.

“Stupidity is the deliberate cultivation of ignorance.” ~ William Gaddis

“But, there’s a reason for this, there’s a reason education SUCKS, and it’s the same reason it will never, ever, EVER be fixed.

It’s never going to get any better, don’t look for it, be happy with what you’ve got.

Because the owners, the owners of this country, don’t want that. I’m talking about the real owners now, the BIG owners! The Wealthy… the REAL owners! The big wealthy business interests that control things and make all the important decisions.

Forget the politicians. They are irrelevant. The politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice. You don’t. You have no choice! You have OWNERS! They OWN YOU. They own everything. They own all the important land. They own and control the corporations. They’ve long since bought and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the statehouses, the city halls, they got the judges in their back pockets, and they own all the big media companies, so they control just about all of the news and information you get to hear. They got you by the balls.

They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying, lobbying to get what they want. Well, we know what they want. They want more for themselves and less for everybody else, but I’ll tell you what they don’t want:

They don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well-informed, well-educated people capable of critical thinking. They’re not interested in that. That doesn’t help them. That’s against their interests.

That’s right. They don’t want people who are smart enough to sit around a kitchen table and think about how badly they’re getting fucked by a system that threw them overboard 30 fucking years ago. They don’t want that!

Do you know what they want? They want obedient workers. Obedient workers, people who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork. And just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shitty jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you sooner or later cause they own this fucking place! It’s a big club, and you ain’t in it! You, and I, are not in the big club.

By the way, it’s the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long, beating you over the head with their media telling you what to believe, what to think, and what to buy. The table has tilted, folks. The game is rigged, and nobody seems to notice. Nobody seems to care! Good honest, hard-working people; white-collar, blue-collar, it doesn’t matter what color shirt you have on. Good honest, hard-working people continue; these are people of modest means, continue to elect these rich cock suckers who don’t give a fuck about you….they don’t give a fuck about you… they don’t give a FUCK about you.

They don’t care about you at all… at all… AT ALL. And nobody seems to notice. Nobody seems to care. That’s what the owners count on. The fact that Americans will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white and blue dick that’s being jammed up their assholes every day because the owners of this country know the truth.

It’s called the American Dream because you have to be asleep to believe it.” ~ The American Dream by George Carlin – 9/25/2010

“… no drug, not even alcohol, causes the fundamental ills of society. If we’re looking for the source of our troubles, we shouldn’t test people for drugs, we should test them for stupidity, ignorance, greed, and love of power.” ~ P. J. O’Rourke

~ The Author ~
Charles R. Dickens was born in 1951, is a veteran of the Vietnam war, for which he volunteered, and the great-great grandson of the noted author, whose name he shares.

He is a fiercely proud American, who still believes this is the greatest country on the planet, with which we’ve lost control and certainly our direction. He grew up in moderate financial surrounding; were not rich by any stretch, but didn’t go hungry – his incredibly hard working father saw to that. As most from that era, he learned about life from his father, whose story would take too long to tell, other than to say that, he is also a fiercely proud American; a WWII and Korean war, veteran Marine.

Charlie was educated in the parochial system which, demanded that you actually learn something, and have capability to retain it before you advance. He attended several universities in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree, and chased the goose further to a master’s, and has retained some very definite ideas about education in this country.

In addition, Charlie is a retired blues guitar and vocalist – a musician. This was his therapy career. Nothing brings him as much joy as playing music, and he wishes that he could make a living at it… but alas… life goes on!

That’s Charlie… a proud, opinionated, and passionate American.
