Who Wins? ~ The Complete Series

NOTE: The Federal Observer published the first 5 entries to this series in late June of 2021. As of this evening, the author has completed the series and Part Six – And the winner is??? has now been added at the bottom of this post. ~ Ed.

Part I – The Big Question

Is this all real, is there a problem or is what we see manufactured by the people who profit from the chaos they create? Both sides of this conflict – yes, it is a conflict – claim the other side is wholly to blame.

So stop for a moment and think. Ask yourself – who really wins in this situation? It certainly isn’t the people involved in this violence or hatred or conflict, and it certainly isn’t the citizens of this country.

It’s the media companies that win! The media companies are intentionally polarized – opposite each other along purely manufactured lines. That way, the big players control the narrative – the playing field, and therefore us.

Their revenues are at all-time highs. Their audience capture is the highest it’s ever been, and because of this, advertisers line up to buy commercial time and space at record costs. Who wins?

So how did we hear about these world-changing and potentially catastrophic changes? The media has been testing the effectiveness of this tactic for years. Since the well before the 2000 election extravaganza, the partisan accusation flew between the partisan contenders. You can trace it back to the 18th century when newspapers and printed signboards were the media de jure.

We take their word for the impact of the fabricated and sensationalized events. It’s their impressions and opinions, not fact. It hasn’t stopped; it has only increased since the election. The medias’ power is now almost insurmountable. They control everything we know and believe. Without their insight, we are blind to the world – that’s their power.

They control the information flow.

Was the election rigged? Was there collusion? What is the origin of Covid-19? Did we really need to lockdown? Who is responsible for the nearly four million people who died attributed to the pandemic? Is Biden fit to manage this country? Is Harris going to the border? Will Trump run again? How can the Republicans defeat the Democrats? Will the Democrats maintain control of the Senate and House?

How does all this fighting and contention help us?

Does any of this make us a better country?

Nearly everything we know comes from the media, all emanating from their feeds. Everywhere you look, there is a torrent of information gushing at us from every possible source with powerful but conflicting messages that reinforce each other and intended to divide us into camps. TO DIVIDE US!

We are at each other’s throats, fighting like ravenous dogs after the same bone. All because of what they tell us.

Who keeps beating the drum? Who makes mountains out of molehills? Who reminds us every day that there are overwhelming problems in this country? Who keeps emphasizing the social chasm between us? Who is in our homes nearly 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365/6 days a year?

The Media!
As long as we believe everything the media spews at us, they win. As long as we keep reading and clicking through to read these fabrications, they win. It doesn’t matter what you believe, which side you’re on – Democrat, Republican, Communist, Socialist, WOKE, Cancel Culture, Liberal, or Independent, they win every time you click to read that story.

The bigger the lie, the more skeptical the report, the more nonsensical the claims – the more they make. They don’t have to be correct, and it doesn’t even have to be true – it just has to draw you in. AND IT DOES!

We are addicted to instantaneous information feeds. There are crawlers for your web browsers and cell phones. The media follows you everywhere. They stalk you – you allow it – you invited it. We are terrified to miss the next installment of – CNN, MSNBC, FOX, et al., ad nauseam.

The reason is, what is essential is that the media are playing us for profit!

Here are a few quoted from the master of propaganda – Nazi Minister of Propaganda ~ 1933 – 1945 Joseph Goebbels

“If you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it, and you will even believe it yourself.”

“Propaganda works best when those who are being manipulated are confident they are acting on their own free will.”

“A lie told once remains a lie, but a lie told a thousand times becomes the truth.”

Who Wins? ~ Part II

Media Bias
I became a news junky a few years ago but sorting through the dross became a daunting challenge. I wanted to find the press’s honesty and true community spirit, but my expedition took me down a cyberspace rabbit hole. I am disheartened but not surprised at what I discovered.

If you have ever embarked on a journey of this type unintentionally, you know the inevitable outcome. I almost forgot the intent of the search. There is so much data; I refuse to call it information; it is absolutely mind-boggling. How can anyone possibly establish fact from fiction, truth from lie, or even real from imagined? That’s how my trip of discovery started.

Coincidences are serendipitous alignments of cosmic forces – BULLSHIT!

Shit happens… Call it what you like.

Yes, there are fortuitous situations, like how I met my wife; this is no one of those… I acknowledge them, but my cynical nature rejects them, bringing me to this post and its content.

How many times have you wondered if all the crap you see and hear from the press and in the media is true? Have you ever wondered? I certainly have.

I’ve reached the point that I don’t trust anything coming from any US source, especially the mainstream networks. I’m beginning to doubt the alternative sources as well. The messages are too well coordinated to be coincidental.

The two disparate sides seem to carefully delineate tolerable and sacrosanct – what they will touch and what goes wholly ignored in conversation and presentation. What one embraces the other shuns and vice versa.

They even use the same talking points, responses, and opinions concerning the issues. So it’s the exact programming with different talking heads on the opposing side of the case. Coincidence – I think not!

Is someone pulling strings, feeding them the content and agendas? Probably!

Consider the compelling material they should contest in the public eye.
Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden’s son, conspires with Chinese and Russian oligarchs who openly pay him hundreds of thousands of dollars annually for access to the VP and now President Papa Joe. Yet Papa Joe disavows any knowledge of these dealing – even though photographs and emails document these conversations and meetings. The Left-leaning press avoids it like the plague and does nothing at all. Their hair is on fire on the Conservative Right; however, there is little activity.

Papa Joe consorts with the Grand Dragon of the Klu Klux Klan and supports all manner of anti-American segregationist policies. He is an overt racist, but miraculously he is now the salvation of blacks all over this country, and as you would expect, nothing is done on the Left proving that the country is systemically racist. The Right is indignant but takes no action.

During the election extravaganza of 2020, Biden said, “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black…” a quote from an interview with Charlamagne Tha God – how’s that for a moniker? Can there be a more racist assertion, yet there was barely a ripple in the press from either side. Biden passed it off as a joke.

Text messages from Hunter’s phone have him repeatedly using a disparaging and denigrating racial slur (THE N-word). Yet, there is silence from the mainstream press on the Left and guarded silence from the Right.

Finally – FINALLY, there seems to be substantive evidence of Hunters’ complicity and conspiracy. Still, there is no discernible sound from the socialist media or press on the Left, and the Right side conservative press seems befuddled, stymied.

Is Hunter Biden sacred – never to be addressed? Why? Does Papa Joe’s position as POTUS deflect any and all of the allegations?

Everyone in the Biden Crime Family is untouchable! We will never see any action against them. Instead, the Left pay them obsequious homage, and the Right awaits nonchalantly.

I remember the witch-hunt about President Trump’s alleged Russian collusion? There was no proof, just an accusation, yet the media keeps this alive. It was a main socialist campaign point. They even dragged his wife and family into the fray – several times. The Left failed to impeach him TWICE! Nevertheless, the lies continue.

Why do all the answers across the mainstream media feeds follow a formulaic and almost scripted presentation? The opinions from CNN, MSNBC, and several others are virtually identical, following the same points using the same rhetoric – the same opinions verbatim! It cannot be coincidental, and it is not accidental. It supports my premise that they use a common source for stories and responses and that someone else controls the narrative. Someone holds the strings.

Countless hours of these travesties are available in cyberspace. Select a recent media topic, watch or listen to your choice of mainstream feed, and, in fairness, watch a conservative source. You’ll hear the same coverage on that subject with nearly identical questions, replies, and opinions from the talking heads on contradictory sides.

I can accept a similar posture infrequently, but every day on every story from networks supposed to provide a service to their communities. That is not a coincidence.

And now the caveat:

The first amendment to the Constitution.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Please note that lying is not part of this amendment and was never the intent, but for the press, it is a screen used to obscure the covert designs of the puppet masters. It is the linchpin of the press’s and social media’s rationale for their cavalier approach to the truth, misinformation, and disinformation. It is the camouflage for their agenda.

I seriously doubt that the Congress of 1791 shared these concerns when they ratified the Bill of Rights. Back then, our leaders were men of honor; at least most of them were.

Our Government has always had problems with scallywags, scoundrels, and blackguards. Liberty attracts them like fleas to a dog. Quo Erat Demonstratum (QED) – our congress, senate, and government today.

Is this not prima facie white privilege in action? Is it NOT illegal to use the President’s office to evade prosecution or shield one’s family from scrutiny, criticism, and prosecution?

Where is the outcry? Where is your indignation?

Yet, after all is said and done, there is a lot more said than done!

Why do they do it?

Who Wins? ~ Part III

Why, Why do they do it?
I was recently reminded: “Don’t blame people for disappointing you; blame yourself for expecting too much from them.” The bar is already so low it nearly touches the floor; how can I expect less. Maybe it’s best not to expect anything because then I’ll never be disappointed.

You see, I expect people to behave like adults, love this country as much as I, and have the same level of respect for the country and each other. These unrealized expectations are the root of my disappointment.

I don’t have hard facts, but that doesn’t stop anyone else, so here goes. It makes sense to me.

There is an old Cherokee Parable:

An old Cherokee told his grandson.

My son, there’s a battle between two wolves inside all of us.

One is evil. It’s anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies, and ego.

The other is good. It’s joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, and truth.

The boy thought for a moment and asked, which wolf wins?

The old man quietly replied; the one you feed.

So, why are we in this mess?

Which wolf do we feed?

I find that it is all about greed. An almost insatiable desire drives the demise of our country. There are more complex, convoluted reasons, but the synthesis is selfishness and avarice.

Because we have more, we want more. It is self-perpetuating. It is how we are socialized in America. I’m not talking about the political ideology; I’m talking about our introduction to greed and what it does to us all.

Yes, friends and neighbors, I am talking about the crux of the problem – advertising. The bane of our existence and the common denominator for most of man’s ills. Advertising is a ploy to create dissatisfaction and therefore want in the process. It is an uncontrolled but necessary evil.

Most Americans already have too much stuff; the advertising process builds the illusion of desire by design.

Advertisers use greed to encourage desire by showing us that we are not complete or as good as anyone else without their product. Advertising moves you from nice to have to need instantly.

You need transportation, but do you need a $90,000 SUV, or will something more modestly priced suffice? But you’re convinced that you’re not complete without that 1000 horsepower monster SUV because, without it, you are not… You get the idea.

Watch any advert to see my point in action. Hide your credit cards – these guys are really, really good.

Advertising is a super-tool of the media – the press. In 2020 advertising revenues exceeded $139.8 BILLION.

Advertising is the engine that makes the media go. It is why they are in business; to make money, and as much as possible – the greed coefficient.

Our notion of the altruism of reporting died with Edward R. Murrow and Walter Cronkite. Pre 1950, radio was the media du jour. Advertisers sponsored programs to showcase their products. Listeners and readers trusted the reporters.

Before 1950, most homes consumed print media, newspapers, and magazines, but the T.V. was fast becoming the latest craze, portable radios became a popular alternative, and mobile advertising burgeoned. Only 20% of homes had T.V.s, but by 1960 that number increased to 90%. The introduction of television marked the dawn of advertising as we know it.

L.M. Slackens: The Yellow Press, showing William Randolph Hearst as a jester handing out newspapers, published by Keppler & Schwarzmann, October 12, 1910 ~ Library of Congress

In 2020 Nielsen estimates that there are 121 million T.V.s in America. In addition, there are over 275 million home computers and 298 million cellular devices — all ripe targets for marketers’ messages.

During our day, we spend 6.58% of our time on ads. During 10 minutes of navigation, we spend 40 seconds on Ads. It’s getting harder to avoid these ads with pop-ups, screen drops and pops, email ads, and web-based ads, text ads, robocalls, and all manner of other annoyances. Cyberspace is fertile ground for vendors and hucksters of all kinds.

Most Americans are exposed to between 10,000 and 40,000 ads per day. The United States is the largest advertising market globally, with ad spends exceeding $242.54 billion in 2020.

The media’s slice of this abundance depends on their share of the available audience. The more viewers or subscribers, the more they can demand for advertising and the more money they make.

To understand the media’s vulnerabilities to China, you should know who owns what:

* NBC News, CNBC, and MSNBC are owned by Comcast, which owns Universal Pictures, a minority partner to five Chinese state-owned companies in the Universal Beijing Resort. The resort will feature attractions from Universal properties, like Harry Potter and Jurassic World, and licensed properties from other American entertainment companies, such as Warner Brothers and Paramount Pictures, giving Beijing a single point of pressure on several U.S. media firms. In 2016, Universal and China’s Perfect World Pictures announced a $500 million co-financing deal of a slate of films.

* ABC News is owned by The Walt Disney Company, which also owns Walt Disney Studios and participates in the Shanghai Disney Resort, where it is a 43% partner to three Chinese companies controlled by the government of the city of Shanghai. The resort saw 11 million visitors in its first year of operation and is a significant contributor to Disney’s earnings. Disney also owns 80% of ESPN, which shied away from covering the story of Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey’s tweet supporting Hong Kong demonstrators and the ensuing controversy.

* CBS News is owned by ViacomCBS, which also owns Paramount Pictures and ViacomCBS Networks International, the latter of which produces MTV and Nickelodeon for the Chinese market.

* CNN is owned by AT&T’s WarnerMedia, which controls NBA TV. NBA TV had its broadcasts in China suspended in 2019 after Daryl Morey’s controversy, which prompted the league and its leading players to distance themselves from the protests. WarnerMedia is also a 49% participant in Flagship Entertainment, a film production company located in Hong Kong; the other major participant is venture capital firm China Media Capital.

(This is what we know about from registered investments. This source did not disclose secondary, tertiary, or other hidden ventures.)

At just over $9 billion, China is the world’s second-biggest film market, behind North America. However, it is projected to become the largest by 2025 with a projected $22 billion in sales and is key to future revenue growth in Hollywood. Recently, several big-budget American films had bigger openings in China than in the U.S. China is BIG Business for American companies.

This massive market potential means careful attention is given to media messages and coverage regarding anything with a Chinese connection, topic, or inference. Since it is all interconnected, the filters in place work for the U.S. market as well. The CCP investors are not interested in our political views, only in spreading theirs. Since they pay the piper, they call the tune.

China is investing $1.3 billion to extend its state message reach this year. Their investments and control over U.S. media are their megaphone to spread their propaganda and silence critics abroad.

So who wins?
The Media Companies and their investors win. The loser is America because we have diluted content tailored to the narrative of the CCP investors. This control extends to social media companies as well. If they want to do business in China – and believe me, 1.4 billion potential users and advertising targets speak very loudly indeed.

Who Wins? ~ Part IV

The Game
I’ve been considering why there is so much disinformation in the American media. The truth is necessary but not nearly as exciting or entertaining as a lie can be. The other problem with reality is that it rarely fits the narrative, but as we’ve seen, it can be fine-tuned. It’s hard to sell the truth, whereas a lie can be tailored to serve any story.

Another name for lie is a fabrication – in this instance, it fits perfectly, tailor-made for both the intent and the presentation.

There are hundreds of ways to define how something appears, but I like optics. It describes what the media and advertisers want us to see.

We see productions carefully scripted and staged for maximum effect, including feigned outrage, indignation, and manufactured controversy.

The critical ingredient is our attention. The media outlets have us for such a short time and need to maximize the impact of the message, so it’s quick, pointed, and very dramatic.

We are acclimated, socialized, and brainwashed to follow the bait and glamor. We don’t notice what’s just behind the facade, intentionally obscured like the Wizard of Oz behind the curtain.

I’m talking about the intent and the reasons for these dynamic presentations. What’s really behind all this?

I’m convinced that when we look, I mean really look, we’ll see what’s going on, but our attention is elsewhere.

“…they may indeed look, and yet not perceive; they may indeed listen, and yet not understand…”

How it works –
Expose a problem, make people afraid, tell them who to blame.

Cut to commercial.

That is the news cycle in America. It is intentionally designed to fit our limited attention span.

Yes, it’s that easy.

The more sensational the claims, the more catastrophic the event, the more carnage involved, the better it is for ratings. Close with a few well-crafted comments and opinions and a few controversial ideas intended to create interest — the more outlandish, the bigger the audience — the more revenue for the owners. Now you MUST watch the next show to see how it develops, how it turns out.

We’re hooked.

Voi La, billions in revenue!

Recall from the last post that there is a solid financial rationale for these broadcast tableaus. The longer you watch, the more you select ‘yes’ to see the next segment, the more times you click those alluring ads, every YouTube subscription, every ‘click here to like’ this program or presentation, the more you support their multi-faceted agenda.

It’s pure capitalism for some, and for others, there is a blend of Socialism and Communism, and still, others prefer the Marxist agenda with a free-market twist. None of it is a service to the viewer, reader, recipient, or spectator.

Notice too that the corporate ideology follows the popular voice and sentiments of the viewers. As the attitudes change, so do extremism and the tone of the message.

The reason the media was so pro-Biden was the enormous anti-Trump sentiment the ‘Donkey Party’ created. Without full media support, the Donkies would never win – and of course, there were the shenanigans with the ballot count. Then there is the $14.4 billion spent on the 2020 elections. Money spent by the parties on the media. The media didn’t care – they got paid!

Who won? If you guessed the media – you are right. We, the people, were the big losers! It was OUR money that fattened the media coffers. It is we, the people, who will endure our choice at our leisure. And we, the people, will be paying for this for a long, long, long, long time.

Here’s an Ideological Score Card…

Ideology be damned, profit is god, and the message is secondary. In fact, some media outlets have their own vacillating ideology that follows the financial breezes. They prefer to luft in the winds of change and follow the money as appropriate and available.

Here are a few controversial themes that currently occupy our time. I haven’t timed the cycle, but it seems to run about five months before our collective attentions flag, and we need new and more heinous fodder.

Critical Race Theory – Divide and Conquer – The Latin phrase “Divide et livorem” is as old as politics and war. The divide your enemy so you can reign approach is attributed to Julius Cesar — he successfully applied it to conquer Gaul twenty-two centuries ago (no typo). So if it’s good enough for Cesar, it’s good enough for the Socialists and the ‘in administratione imperium‘ as a time-tested and proven tactic.

Splinter the citizens, create factions, groups, or clusters of people and pit them against each other. A disjointed band of small groups represents a minor threat. Waring factions are more interested in their adversary and usually fail to comprehend the actual risk. The key is to create an antagonist that will ignite the indignation of the group, forging an enemy.

White America is systemically racist. White people are the reason you can’t succeed. Your problems are all based on White privilege. This is – IS – the message of those that will destroy the US.

The Southern Border – There is enough material in just this one topic alone to fill another article. Let’s call this what it is. A well-planned, masterfully executed plot to destabilize America.

Giving these invaders sanctuary in our country at the expense of the state, cities, and towns that receive them will cost those residents trillions of dollars and tax their social services to the breaking point – all at local taxpayer expense.

Most recipient cities are still reeling from the Government’s overreaction regarding the pandemic and the unemployment and under-employment it created. How many businesses closed and will never reopen due to the draconian measures to combat a weaponized virus?

There is also the impact on law enforcement and other social services to consider. How many police officers, hospital workers, or teachers in Bangor, Maine, or Des Moines, Iowa, are fluent in Spanish? You can be sure that these invaders will Para español presione por favor el número 7.

Introducing millions of potential voters can potentially shift Left – Right national political sentiments and landscapes when we grant instant citizenship and voter rights when they land.

Report Suspicious Radicals and Extremists
On June 14th, during a teleconference, “President Biden tasked the intelligence and law enforcement communities during his first week in office to produce a comprehensive assessment of today’s domestic violent extremist threat.”

“If you see something, say something” concept that has been promulgated previously by DHS. This involves creating contexts in which those who are family members or friends, or co-workers know that there are pathways and avenues to raise concerns and seek help for those who they have perceived to be radicalizing and potentially radicalizing towards violence. It is your duty as American citizens to inform the Government if you “see something” or “hear something suspicious.

You can rest assured that these and a few disasters yet to be announced will occupy our attention until the next election cycle, and we can start all over again with a fresh load of bullshit.

The winner in this “Who Wears the Crown” is the Government. They seized the reigns, snatched power, and eradicated functioning policies to ensure more extensive and far-reaching authoritarian control. The National Debt Exceeds $28.5 trillion and is apparently spiraling higher daily. US Debt Clock

The financial winner – The Media!

Who Wins? – Part V

So what happened?
I sit here still half asleep, waking from a night of fitful sleep disturbed by unusual dreams that make no sense. I’m searching for some context and cohesion.

I read the online news feeds and watched a couple of short videos, then realized that I am entangled in conflicting information and things that make no sense. What else would my mind do but attempt to order this confusion?

I’m beginning to fathom the extent of my disorientation and feeling of betrayal.

The questions I posed in my previous posts have multiple answers. As I sift through the sweepings to find salient crumbs, these quotes come to mind.

Sun Tzu in The Art of War.

* “All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near.”

* “The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting.”

We are distracted by all the controversy and confusion from the media propagandists. We’re so indurated that we miss the point as their plan unfolds so slowly that it’s almost imperceptible. Now it seems too late to stop or arrest the progress; extensive damage is already done.

Are we too late?
The Radical Left won the preliminary battles of the war; there was no fighting. We rolled over; actually, we were rolled over. There were no shots fired, yet we are vanquished.

This insidious plot began in earnest post-WWII with the biggest boom we’d ever enjoyed. This nation joined a coalition that kicked some major ass on two fronts, in Europe and the Pacific, simultaneously. We made lots of mistakes and created some powerful enemies.

We thought we’d won.
A few years later, we face a communist foe in Korea and then again in Vietnam. Each time our adversary was more ideological but no less physical. Each time the enemy knew more about us and our tactics. Each action lent credence to the Left’s assertions.

Our cherished liberties allowing free thought and expression were an open door, an engraved invitation for those who hate who we are and what we have to share their dissent. We dropped our guard.

Socialist and Communist sympathizers came to America as welcomed intellectuals. They became trusted advisors, scientists, doctors, teachers, and professors here. We embraced them because we are a society that welcomes people to join us, enjoy who we are, and share what we have.

Only a few conscientious souls questioned their ethics and intentions. A few overreacted, but most Americans rejected it, calling it mass hysteria and unAmerican paranoia. They were wrong.

These immigrant scholars seized the opportunity to share their ideologies first within businesses and corporations, where they enjoyed access to sensitive proprietary information. They learned about us from the inside.

They found their niche in academia, where they began to proselytize in colleges and universities. Here were hungry minds keen for new ideas. These new unaware academic acolytes were eager to spread these seeds of dissent; the student became the master.

These intruders have been here for nearly 80 years, right under our collective noses working diligently to undermine and corrupt America, one step and one mind at a time.

Democratic Socialism – Black Lives Matter – Critical Race Theory – Liberal Education – Moral Decay – Modern Parenting – Participation Trophies – Assaults on the Bill of Rights – Closing mental care facilities – Defunding the Police – Open Borders – Relaxed Bail Laws – Pandemic Hysteria – Out of control spending for social programs – Runaway debts – Spiraling inflation.

I could continue, but I think I’ve made my point.

These are all the fruits of those labors.

So now what?
Well, just like dealing with any endemic problem, it will take dedication, sacrifice, and solidarity. Our most imposing decision is to either let this situation run its course, accept our losses, concede, run like hell or stand and fight. Within each alternative lives multiple permutations and possibilities.

Regardless of our choice, there will be a cost.

Are we prepared?

Flight:
Where do you go? Seriously! Name a country with our liberties – as they stand right now. What other nation on this PLANET has what we have?

Do you think that any country could or would absorb more than half of the US population? Canadian scenery is outstandingly beautiful, awe-inspiring, but it’s a bit too cold for me. Would they want us to move in and take over? You know we would…

Going south means ousting the drug cartels – hey, maybe we could work out a swap? They can have the US, their biggest market, and we’ll take Mexico – Lovely beaches, outstanding resorts, decent infrastructure.

I’ll let you think about this for a while…

Fight:
This battle will require some fundamental changes.

Remember, the government works for us; we don’t work for them. We’ve allowed this fallacy to continue for far too long, and this misconception must be corrected; it must be reversed. We have the means, and we have the power. Now what we need is the will.

Government control is their cornerstone – their keystone to the end game.

Our most powerful tool is our right to vote – it is how we can turn the tide, how we can arrest the insidious progress and stop this infestation. Ensuring the election integrity will require changes as well.

Oh, the end game — Totalitarian Control of America. It will be either Socialism or Communism or some blend of the two, but it will mean capitulation.

Democratic-Socialism is a construct, an invented term created to soften the realities of authoritarian control by injecting the idea of choice. You have neither personal choice nor opinion in Socialism or Communism. You do as you’re instructed, follow orders; PERIOD!

What you see happening around us is only a glimpse of what’s to come. The lunacy we see today is a precursor of the horrors our children, and we will face. Most of us won’t live through the transition. We’re already marked and tagged. They know who we are – Big Tech pals saw to that.

The First Secretary has plans for us free-thinking non-conformists – think, forced labor, organ harvesting, detention, execution, democide.

We don’t fit their model.

Get the picture?

THEY know everything – EVERYTHING – they need to know about us. We allowed that starting about 40 years ago when the internet became ubiquitous – everywhere – omnipresent – universal. Since 1997 – the beginning of Social Media – everything we do is scrutinized by something or someone – and stored.

The government knows every transaction, phone call, email, text message, video chat, and media post you’ve made for the past 25 years – at least!

Petabytes of data are archived where data engineers query and comb through this information for tidbits and clues of who we are, what we do, what we eat, where we shop, our banking, every purchase, every loan – basically everything you have done in the past is at their fingertips. It’s called Data Harvesting.

They know us better than we know ourselves. We cannot undo this data archive, but we can be aware that it exists and take steps to protect ourselves.

It’s not an invasion of privacy since we volunteered all of this information. You did read and understand the ‘terms and conditions, and privacy disclosures,’ of all those applications, didn’t you; before you clicked agree?

Being an autodidactic polymath, I enjoy differing points of view. I always learn something from these encounters. I never met a person that could not teach me something.

I do NOT suggest that we stop the free flow of ideas. BUT! We must be watchful and cautious that those ideas do not become dictates that our government imposes for our good or in our best interest.

And the Winner is? – Part VI

America is still by far the greatest nation on this planet. No other countries offer what we have as far as liberty, freedom, and opportunity.

Once the America we know is gone, there will never be another like it.

America provides an opportunity to everyone regardless of defining physical characteristics perceived or imagined. The ONLY condition is – that you work for it because – We owe you nothing. What we give you is the chance to improve yourself and, as a result, our country.

The exception to the last statement is the erringly created welfare system initially designed to aid citizens in need. Instead, Welfare became an entitlement and lifestyle for those who refused to work and have learned to play the game – to game the system.

In 2020 welfare cost us $9.88 trillion. Most recipients see Welfare as an entitlement, not assistance.

Many illegal immigrants see it as an enticement. The lure of instant citizenship and financial support is a siren’s call for the impoverished, oppressed, and socio-geographically disenfranchised masses.

In the years 2016 thru 2020, around 5 million people requested citizenship through naturalization. This year we have already arrested one million illegal aliens – these are the people we caught. Our border agents estimate that another million have already slipped through with more on the way. The Migration Policy Institute estimates that there are 11.4 million unauthorized people in this country.

Suppose America is a country of white privilege and systemic racism, where non-white people, people of color, are shackled. Why would so many people of color want to become citizens?

In the past six months, an estimated one million illegal immigrants crossed the southern border between Mexico and the US; most are people of color. Why are these people willing to make that arduous and dangerous trek, spend thousands of dollars, flee their homes, and endure such hardship if America is so vile? Why would they even come here?

So, with all of America’s egregious faults, why would anyone want to come here? The propagandists tell us America is a horrible place to live and raise a family. Why come here if America is so atrocious? Why do people even want to stay? If it is so horrible here, go somewhere else – somewhere better.

The difficulty is that there is no place better. There is nowhere that would tolerate whining and bitching about everything. There is no other country that would allow the treason and sedition we live with every day. No other country supports non-citizens as America does.

No other country allows Big Tech the freehand that we allow. Of course, this is because they provide a valuable service to our government as their propagandists, de facto censors, and arbiters of truth. Joseph Goebbels would be proud.

No one EVER said America is perfect, but we have the means, processes, and desire to evolve, to move forward. At least, that’s what I believe and fight to preserve.

We’ve survived the past 245 years. We abolished slavery, one of the most heinous and deplorable sins we’ve committed. We don’t need to relive mistakes, nor do we wish to repeat them.

We do not deny our history.

We resolve to learn from it.

If you have positive suggestions to move America forward, please offer them. If, however, you aim to destroy America, leave now.

Our path is progress, not regression. If you have a complaint – at least offer a solution to fix the problem.

The claim that America is fundamentally and systemically racist is the most ignorant and racist statement ever made.

If this statement had any validity, there would be no people of color in our government, professional positions, with college educations, business, owning homes, entertaining, playing music, teaching, or doing anything but service work. Most of them would not be reading. America would be like China; we would exterminate all dissenters.

You are still here, no?

If you’re not happy here, please leave. Go somewhere else. Let us repair the damage you’ve done so we can move forward. Let us continue to improve this wonderful country. Stop dragging us back to 1619 as the media and their masters’ advocate.

Declaring the winner:
It isn’t hard to see that the clear victor in all of this isn’t us; it is the media. They are the richly rewarded and enthusiastic servants of politicians on every side of this controversy.

The Media and Big Tech skillfully abused their freedom and liberties to reap enormous financial rewards while destroying the ideology and culture that provides their opportunity.

This destruction is a fundamental and intrinsic problem with leftist ideologies because they obliterate the very thing they seek to change.

Just point to a functioning and successful Socialist, Communists, Totalitarian, or Oligarchic society? There are none. Every one of them already has or is in the process of imploding. The remaining few are running by sheer force, torturing and murdering their happy, contented citizens and eliminating the dissenters.

Cuba is a prime example of paradise lost. Starvation, oppression, and isolation are their rewards for over sixty years of captivity. They are ripe fruit waiting to be plucked by their overlords in China and Russia. Not only because of what they have but because of their proximity to America.

How do all these disenfranchised people know to come to America? Who put the idea that America’s streets are “paved with gold?” Who created these unrealistic expectations and encouraged these people to flock to America? It was the media.

Everything printed or said or advertised finds its way to other countries. They know more than we think, especially about our generosity through welfare programs and the Harris-Biden social re-engineering program for American politics and elections.

Distortions and misrepresentation of our news and media commentary fly through the international press at lightning speed, adapted and translated into local parlance for consumption. This manipulation of fact is the impetus for America’s allure. The recent invitation regarding open borders didn’t slow the onslaught.

The Solution:
When America’s founders decided to break from the monarchy, they believe that all men – and women – should be free to determine their fate and direction. They began to deliberate and craft rules based on shared values, based on a higher power, God, a creator, moral commonality, and mutual respect.

This respect for individual decisions and rights is the foundation of America.

(I need to step aside here and caution everyone not to inspect or judge the founders and authors of our Constitution through a 21st-century lens. You should view our founders’ creation, The Constitution, in its historical context.

This fantastic document is so well written that its intent is as applicable today as it was back then. It is a timeless work of written art and the basis for our incredible progress and some of our monumental failures. Yet, it still works as intended; It allows us to succeed or fail. It outlines our meritocracy and our republic.
Two hundred forty-five years ain’t too bad…

Honesty and integrity are vital components in our struggle to reclaim our country. Taking personal and corporate responsibility and accountability is the only cure for this problem. It is our only solution and hope.

Capitalism Gives – Socialism Takes
Money is not the root of all evil; the love of money is. Money is a simple tool of exchange, that’s all.

We can not afford and must not allow anyone to highjack a powerful tool like the media for nefarious or any other purposes except to inform. The ability to contact over three-hundred-million people is a tremendous responsibility that requires a high level of integrity.

NO, I do not advocate government oversight or control. I suggest a return to morality and looking at the greater good, not expedience. I believe that government is too big already. As it grows, so do our problems, costs, and opportunity for corruption.

We expect the media to disseminate information honestly and fairly. The days of news reporting are now a vague memory replace by the opinion – OpEd – or rant-show. This mainstream shit-show is all – ALL – entertainment and not much substance.

We must demand honesty from people, and especially from the mainstream media. Hiding behind the first amendment is ludicrous. This amendment guarantees an individual’s rights and is not intended for corporations, government actors, affiliates, and lackeys.

End the weaponization of government agencies like the IRS, NSA, FBI, DOJ, and CIA. These agencies serve the people, not governmental whims.

We the People of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

When you consider the thought and effort required to craft the statement above, you realize that the direction these patriots took launched a great nation. A country that is still the envy of the world because they did what no one else has ever done, nor will ever do again.

They gave us the gift of liberty and freedom.

We should honor their sacrifice, treasure, and this gift by returning to the morals and ethics that caused them to break away from tyranny and form a more perfect union for us and our posterity.

The government isn’t failing us; the people in government are. ~ David Dangwillo

From Grandpa Charlie’s Desk

~ The Author ~
Charles R. Dickens was born in 1951, is a veteran of the Vietnam, for which he volunteered, and the great-great grandson of the noted author, whose name he shares.

He is a fiercely proud American, who still believes this is the greatest country on the planet, with which we’ve lost control and certainly our direction. He grew up in moderate financial surrounding; were not rich by any stretch, but didn’t go hungry – his incredibly hard working father saw to that. As most from that era, he learned about life from his father, whose story would take too long to tell, other than to say that, he is also a fiercely proud American; a WWII and Korean war, veteran Marine.

Charlie was educated in the parochial system which, demanded that you actually learn something, and have capability to retain it before you advance. He attended several universities in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree, and chased the goose further to a master’s, and has retained some very definite ideas about education in this country.

In addition, Charlie is a professional (struggling) blues guitar and vocalist – a musician. This is his therapy career. Nothing brings him as much joy as playing music, and he wishes that he could make a living at it… maybe some day!

That’s Charlie… a proud, opinionated, and passionate American.
