One Demo-RAT Just Blocked the Pro-Life Anti-Infanticide Bill!

Those of us in Washington State an remember when she was known as STINKY TENNIS SHOE PATTY in Olympia. When she was relocated to WDC her family went with her but then they sort of dropped off the scene and I recall that they returned to Washington State. Haven’t heard a word about them since. Is Stinky Tennis Shoe Patty still married? or – did she join the Lesbian Caucus in WDC? Or – did she use Post Partum Abortion to deal with her husband? Just a few of the many questions I have had about her for years. Just Askin. ~ Jackie Juntti

THIS is Senator Patty Murray… Sort of

This is Senator Patty Murray. She just blocked a bill to protect newborn babies from being killed after botched abortion procedures. She is a disgusting human being.

The United States Senate is called the country’s “deliberative body” for a reason. The chamber is designed to work slowly. Bills are supposed to go through committee, get marked up, and then wait in line to reach the floor.

But there is a failsafe measure called “unanimous consent.” If a bill is truly common sense, it can bypass the months of procedural hurdles and reach the floor for an immediate vote as long as it has unanimous consent. That means that if even one Senator objects to the motion, the bill has to go back to committee and wait its turn.

All across this country, liberal states are rushing to pass radical new abortion bills. New York passed legislation that legalizes abortion up until delivery, meaning that doctors can legally kill a baby, even if it has started making its way through the birth canal.

Virginia Democrats decided they could do worse and tried to push through a bill that would have even allowed infanticide. If a baby was born alive from a botched abortion, doctors would be allowed to deliberately withhold care and let the baby die.

Other states like Rhode Island and Vermont are considering similar bills.

actually – THIS is Patty Murray, but…

Senator Ben Sasse (R-NE) was aghast at this. He introduced a common sense bill called the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. Like the name implies, this legislation would require doctors and nurses to provide resuscitative and life-saving care to any baby born alive, especially if they are born during a botched abortion procedure. Everyone should agree that when babies are born, doctors and nurses shouldn’t be allowed to neglect them and let them die.

Senator Sasse put is bill up for unanimous consent and, sure enough, one Democrat Patty Murray (D-WA) stepped forward and objected.

Now, McConnell is sending the bill to the back of the line and saying it likely won’t get another vote… all because one Democrat rose to keep infanticide legal…

President Trump is set to comment tonight during the State of the Union on the Left’s disgusting push for late term abortions. But neither party truly wants to deal with it.

Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats are desperate to expand abortion rights. For years, doctors have been allowed to perform late term abortions to protect the “life of the mother.” But these new bills expand that exception to include the “health” of the mother, including mental health. They want to legalize infanticide if a pregnant woman is too anxious about having a baby… Let that sink in…

But as much as the Democrats want to block Sen. Sasse’s bill, Republicans do as well. They had a chance to pass this common sense legislation for two years. They could have sent it to President Trump’s desk, where he has promised to sign it. Instead, they wait until the issue is back in the news and then do the minimum necessary to be able to say they “did something.” If they had it their way, you’d never hear about this bill again.

All the while, innocent children continue to be butchered by the scourge of abortion. The CDC estimates that 1.3 percent of all abortions occur in the third trimester, when a baby is viable and able to survive on its own outside the womb. That comes out to 23 aborted babies a day that, if just given the chance, could be able to survive outside the womb and live full lives.

That is the cost of Congressional inaction. Every day this bill languishes, another 23 babies are killed. With liberal states loosening their abortion laws to allow more and more late term abortions, that number will only increase.

I said it earlier in the week, but I am going to say it again. The true measure of a society’s worth is how it treats its most vulnerable members.

Liberals aren’t just talking about killing babies in the womb anymore. Now they’re actually talking about doctors neglecting born-alive babies and letting them die in the incubators… And Republicans are just letting it happen!

I know you have a lot going on today. I know that there are probably a million things on your to-do list.

But yesterday, a single Democrat blocked this common sense pro-life bill and now Republicans are just going to accept defeat and move onto something else.

Please, you cannot let this happen!

Don’t let the GOP give up! Send your instant message to Congress and DEMAND they fight for the unborn and immediately pass the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act!
